That is the lowest verified price found for a new, unlocked 128GB Pixel 10 Pro through major official retail channels—but Google’s documented promotion ran from July 12 through July 26, 2026. As of September 20, 2026, check the product page and checkout before treating $699 as an active deal.

Google’s configuration page lists the Pixel 10 Pro from $699, while the 256GB version starts at $849. The original promotion specifically identified the Obsidian 128GB model, so do not assume every color or storage tier qualifies.
The $699 figure is the phone’s pre-tax price—not necessarily the amount charged at checkout. Sales tax, shipping, availability, and delivery dates can vary by location.
Is the $699 price still available?
Not automatically. Google’s published promotion terms gave the $300 discount an end date of July 26, 2026, while supplies lasted. An indexed Google Store page may continue to show $699 after those terms have ended, but the checkout total is the price that matters.

To verify the offer, open the US Google Store page and select:
- Pixel 10 Pro, rather than Pixel 10 Pro XL.
- 128GB storage.
- Unlocked connectivity.
- The color shown as eligible for the current price, particularly Obsidian if the original promotion is being referenced.
Then add the phone to your cart and check the item price, automatically applied promotions, tax, shipping, delivery estimate, and any requirement for trade-in, carrier activation, financing, or account sign-in. Save a screenshot if the price is time-sensitive.
If you buy from Amazon or Best Buy, verify the exact storage, color, condition, seller, and warranty. A marketplace listing or open-box unit should not be presented as the same deal as a new phone sold directly by Google or an authorized retailer.

It is the lowest verified new price found for an unlocked 128GB Pixel 10 Pro sold through major official retail channels. That is a narrower and more accurate claim than saying it is the cheapest Pixel 10 Pro available in every condition.
Reported comparisons included new 128GB units at $699 from Google Store, Amazon, and Best Buy during the July promotion. However, open-box, refurbished, used, trade-in-adjusted, carrier-subsidized, and financing-linked prices are different categories. For example, reported Best Buy open-box pricing included an Excellent-condition 128GB unit at $621.99. That lower price may come with different packaging, accessories, return terms, warranty coverage, and device history.

Carrier offers can also produce a lower effective cost, but usually require a qualifying plan, new line, trade-in, installment agreement, or bill credits. They are not equivalent to paying $699 for an unlocked phone outright.
Why Google discounted the phone
The timing points to normal product-cycle pricing rather than a problem with the Pixel 10 Pro. Secondary reporting linked the July discount to inventory clearance ahead of the Pixel 11 launch, reported as August 12, 2026. That explanation should be understood as industry reporting, not a claim that Google described the discount that way.

The caveat is that the Pixel 11 is now the newer generation. A discounted Pixel 10 Pro can still be the better value, but buyers should weigh the newer model’s processor, modem, battery, camera, AI features, support horizon, and expected resale value before purchasing. The available evidence does not justify assuming that the Pixel 11 is either a transformational upgrade or merely a minor one.
The biggest catch: 128GB storage
At $699, you get 128GB. That is generally enough for cloud-first users, people who stream media, casual photographers, and buyers who replace phones every two or three years.

Choose 256GB instead if you record a lot of 4K video, keep large offline music or video libraries, install many large games, or plan to keep the phone for several years. Google lists the 256GB model from $849—a $150 increase over the $699 configuration.

Because Pixel phones do not offer expandable storage, choosing the smaller capacity cannot be reversed later with a memory card.

The unlocked Pixel 10 Pro is designed to work with the buyer’s choice of major US carrier, but carrier compatibility and activation still depend on the network. Google’s product page identifies the US model as eSIM-only.
Before buying, confirm that your carrier supports Pixel eSIM activation and that its international-roaming process works for your travel pattern. An eSIM-only phone may be inconvenient if you regularly swap physical SIM cards abroad or use a local prepaid SIM that does not support eSIM. Dual-number use may be possible through eSIM profiles, but the exact behavior depends on the carrier and plan.
Unlocked also does not guarantee compatibility with every network worldwide. Check supported bands, carrier certification, eSIM support, and activation requirements for the specific country and provider.
Buy the Pixel 10 Pro at $699 if…
- You want a compact 6.3-inch flagship rather than the larger Pro XL.
- You value Pixel camera processing and Google’s software experience.
- You want an unlocked phone without a carrier contract or bill-credit commitment.
- 128GB is enough for your photos, apps, games, and downloads.
- The $699 price is confirmed at checkout without requiring a trade-in or new line.
- The Pixel 11’s newer hardware does not justify its additional cost for your use.
Wait or choose the Pixel 11 if…
- The price gap between the two generations is relatively small.
- You plan to keep the phone for four years or longer and want the longest remaining support period.
- You care particularly about newer modem, battery, processor, camera, or AI capabilities.
- You need 256GB and the Pixel 10 Pro’s total price approaches that of a newer model.
- The $699 price disappears, requires a trade-in, or cannot be confirmed in the cart.
Alternatives worth checking
Pixel 10
Google’s indexed offers page lists the Pixel 10 from $599 versus a $799 reference price. It may be the better value if you want a lower price and do not need the Pro model’s camera system or other higher-end hardware. Check the live configuration and terms at Google Store offers.
Pixel 10 Pro XL
The larger Pixel 10 Pro XL is not the $699 phone. Google lists it from $949 on the configuration page. Choose it only if you specifically want the larger display and chassis.
Open-box Pixel 10 Pro
An open-box unit may cost less than $699, but inspect the condition grade, return window, warranty, included accessories, and battery history. Store pickup and easier returns can reduce risk, but open-box is not equivalent to factory-sealed.
Carrier promotions
Google Fi, Mint Mobile, and other carriers may advertise a lower effective price. Compare the required plan cost, activation, trade-in, installment term, bill-credit schedule, and cancellation consequences with the straightforward $699 unlocked purchase. A “free” phone can cost more if you would not otherwise choose the required wireless plan.

The Pixel 10 Pro at $699 is an excellent price for a new, unlocked 128GB model if the deal is still honored at checkout. It is not automatically the cheapest Pixel 10 Pro in every condition, and the original Google promotion officially ended July 26, 2026.
Buy when the price is unconditional, 128GB suits you, and you prefer the compact Pro design. Wait or compare the Pixel 11 when you need more storage, the longest support runway, newer hardware, or a price that remains close to the discounted Pixel 10 Pro.
