The $134 Galaxy Watch Ultra price was real as a historical Cyber Monday 2024 promotion—but it was not the watch’s ordinary purchase price. The reported $134.29 figure required a qualifying trade-in. Without that trade-in, the same deal listing showed $434.29, compared with a $649.99 list price.
Samsung’s U.S. store currently lists the 47mm LTE Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) at $649.99 before trade-in. Treat any headline promising the watch for $134 as a conditional, dated deal unless a live checkout page confirms the exact price for your model, trade-in, location and configuration.
The $134 price was a trade-in price, not a regular sale price
The Cyber Monday deal reported by Android Central showed the 47mm Galaxy Watch Ultra at $134.29 with trade-in. The reported price without a trade-in was $434.29, against a $649.99 list price.

The drop from $649.99 to $134.29 is approximately 79%, but that calculation includes the value assigned to the device you surrender. It is not the same as receiving a new watch for $134 with no other economic cost.

Is the $134 Galaxy Watch Ultra deal still live?
The available evidence identifies the $134.29 offer as a Cyber Monday 2024 promotion. It should not be presented as a currently verified standalone price.
Samsung’s current U.S. buying page lists the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), 47mm LTE, at $649.99. Samsung’s promotional pages indicate offers such as up to $250 in instant trade-in credit and, in some campaigns, credit without trade-in—but those offers do not establish a current $134 price.
Cyber Monday promotions can end when the promotional window closes or inventory changes. A search result, cached deal page or “from” price is not enough to establish what you will pay today. The only reliable test is the final checkout screen for the exact product and buyer location.

Which Galaxy Watch Ultra does the deal refer to?
Do not assume every listing called “Galaxy Watch Ultra” is the same generation. The $134 Cyber Monday coverage appears associated with the original product cycle, while Samsung now markets a distinct Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025).
- Model year: Confirm whether the listing says 2024 or 2025.
- Connectivity: Check whether it is the 47mm LTE version or a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi configuration.
- Condition: Confirm that the unit is new, rather than refurbished, open-box or used.
- Seller: Identify whether Samsung or a retailer sells it directly, or whether it comes from a marketplace seller.
- Color and storage: Verify the specific configuration on the product page rather than relying on a generic search headline.
Samsung’s current 2025 product page lists Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver and Titanium White options for the 47mm LTE Ultra. Retailers may combine old and new inventory under similar product names.

How the trade-in can change your final price
A trade-in promotion typically works as a conditional credit rather than an unconditional reduction. Samsung’s promotion terms make the final credit dependent on the submitted device meeting the program’s eligibility requirements.
Before ordering, check:
- Select the exact watch model, size, connectivity option and color.
- Enter the device you plan to trade in and record the estimated credit.
- Read the condition questions carefully. The device may need to power on, charge and be free of issues such as an activation lock or account pairing.
- Confirm whether the credit appears immediately at checkout or is contingent on a later inspection.
- Check the deadline and shipping instructions for mailing the old device after purchase.
- Review the downgrade or rejection policy. A condition mismatch can reduce the credit or eliminate it.
- Check whether taxes are calculated before or after promotional credits, and add shipping or other fees to the total.
- If choosing LTE, include carrier activation and monthly service costs.
- Save a screenshot of the final checkout page showing the product, trade-in, credit, taxes and total.
A device that looks eligible in a questionnaire can receive a different valuation after inspection. Do not ship your old watch until you understand what happens if Samsung revises or rejects the trade-in.

Samsung describes the Ultra as a premium, rugged smartwatch with a titanium case design, 10 ATM water resistance, IP68 protection and a depth rating of up to 100 meters. Samsung also promotes Samsung Health and Galaxy AI health-insight features, along with its longest-lasting Galaxy Watch battery claim at the time of its product listing.
These are manufacturer claims, not independent battery, durability or water-resistance test results. “10 ATM” and “IP68” should not be treated as a promise that every water activity is safe or that water damage is automatically covered.
Compatibility: check your phone before buying
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is intended for Android users. iPhone owners should not assume compatibility. Samsung’s current wearable announcement specifies Android 13.0 or higher and more than 1.5GB of memory for the relevant current-generation devices.

Compatibility does not mean every feature works identically on every Android phone. Some health functions may require a Samsung Galaxy phone, the Samsung Health app, a Samsung account or availability in your region. Cellular features also depend on a compatible carrier plan.
For LTE, ask the carrier about activation, device compatibility, monthly charges and whether a separate watch line is required. A discounted watch can become an expensive purchase if the promotion requires a cellular plan or if the plan continues after the promotional period.
Is it still a good buy?
The Ultra makes the most sense when the final out-of-pocket price is genuinely low after a trade-in you already planned to replace, and you will use its larger rugged design, LTE connectivity, higher battery capacity or outdoor-oriented features.
Buy if
- Your final checkout total is close to $134 after a trade-in you consider fairly valued.
- You use a compatible Android phone.
- You want a large, durable Samsung watch for activities such as hiking, travel or outdoor training.
- The unit is new and includes a normal manufacturer or retailer warranty.
Be cautious if
- The $134 figure appears only after selecting a high-value trade-in.
- The offer requires cellular activation or an ongoing LTE plan.
- The listing is open-box, refurbished or sold by a marketplace seller.
- Taxes and fees are based on the pre-credit price.
- You are buying the 2024 model while the listing or article implies it is the 2025 model.
- You prefer a smaller or lighter watch.
- You mainly need notifications, activity tracking, sleep tracking and Samsung Health basics.
Alternatives to consider
A standard Galaxy Watch may be better value if you do not need the Ultra’s larger case, rugged construction, LTE option or specialized outdoor features. Samsung’s watch offers page is the appropriate place to compare live promotions rather than relying on an old Cyber Monday headline.
If the price difference is modest, compare the 2025 Ultra with newer Samsung wearable models using Samsung’s official product announcement. Conversely, open-box inventory can reduce the purchase price, but check the seller, return window, warranty, battery condition and included accessories before treating it as equivalent to a new Samsung-direct unit.

Best Buy’s listings have shown new 2025 Galaxy Watch Ultra units at $649.99 alongside separate lower-priced open-box or “more buying options” offers. Those categories should not be conflated: a marketplace or open-box price may involve different condition, warranty and return terms.
A simple rule for evaluating the deal
Use this calculation:
Effective cost = checkout total + required taxes, fees and LTE costs − the realistic value of the trade-in device.
Then compare that result with the price of the exact same model from a direct retailer. If the deal only reaches $134 by assigning an unusually high value to a device you would otherwise keep or sell, the headline discount may not represent your lowest-cost option.
