Android Central reported on February 2, 2026, that Amazon had the U.S. 128GB Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab S11 for $659.99, reduced by $140 from $799.99. That is a 17.5% reduction from the stated reference price. The report establishes that the promotion was reported at that time; it does not verify an August 2026 price, the current seller, or whether the listing remains available.
PhoneArena reported on July 29, 2026, that Amazon and Samsung were offering $150 off the base S11. Samsung’s offers pages have also displayed up to $150 off without trade-in. Promotions, eligible configurations, stock, and checkout terms can change, so those reports are not a guarantee of today’s price. For a U.S. shopper, the real amount due before tax is the current item price plus any shipping charge shown at checkout, minus only discounts that actually apply. The available price reports do not establish today’s Amazon seller or fulfillment method, whether a coupon or membership is required, current shipping, or the exact final price. Confirm that the offer is for a new U.S. 128GB Wi-Fi S11—not a renewed unit, marketplace listing with different terms, cellular model, or S11 Ultra—and check the return and warranty details. Samsung’s separate 512GB Wi-Fi listing has been shown at $849.99 versus $1,199.99; that configuration’s price does not validate the 128GB deal.

How to verify the price before buying
- Match the configuration. Confirm the listing says Galaxy Tab S11, 128GB, Wi-Fi, and new. Do not use the S11 Ultra or another storage tier as a price comparison.
- Check the seller and terms. On Amazon, inspect who sells and ships the tablet, the condition, delivery estimate, return policy, and whether any coupon or membership is needed. On Samsung.com, distinguish an instant discount from trade-in credit, student or other eligibility pricing, or a bundle.
- Check the checkout total. Confirm the displayed discount applies before tax and shipping. A “save up to” figure that depends on a trade-in is not the same as an unconditional reduction.
- Account for what you will actually need. The S Pen is included with the S11 launch configuration, but a keyboard is a separate accessory unless the offer specifically bundles one. Samsung’s June 2026 MSRP document lists the Book Cover Keyboard Slim at $144.99; actual selling prices and bundle terms can differ.

What you get with the regular Galaxy Tab S11
A compact premium screen and included S Pen
Samsung identifies the regular S11 as an 11-inch tablet and says the S Pen is included in the S11 series launch configuration. It is not the much larger S11 Ultra. The display is a 120Hz, 16:10 panel with 2560 × 1600-class resolution, according to review coverage. That combination suits handwriting, drawing, comics, and video, although the widescreen shape can leave more unused space in some portrait-oriented apps. The included pen is a meaningful part of the value if you take notes or sketch: it avoids buying a stylus separately. It adds little to the deal for someone who mainly watches shows and browses. Check the particular retailer listing to make sure it is a U.S. model and states that the S Pen is included.

The S11 runs Samsung’s Android-based One UI software and supports Samsung DeX, a desktop-style interface that can make multitasking and keyboard work feel more computer-like. It can be a useful fit for Galaxy-phone owners who want Samsung-device integration. DeX does not turn Android apps into full desktop software, though; whether it can replace a laptop depends on the apps and files your work requires. TechRadar found the S11 a strong iPad Air competitor, while noting that its price is high for an 11-inch tablet.
The cited material does not establish a current, configuration-specific U.S. specification for every detail such as battery capacity, charging speed, weight, microSD support, cellular availability, or software-support duration. Check Samsung’s current specifications for the exact SKU rather than assuming a family-wide feature applies to every listing.
Is it good value at around $660?
At the historical $659.99 price, the S11 makes the strongest case for buyers who will use its premium display, included S Pen, and Samsung productivity features. A discount is not automatically a bargain: the tablet remains a substantial purchase, and a keyboard can add significantly to the total. The 128GB tier may work for cloud-based notes, browsing, and streaming, but downloaded video, large games, and creative files can consume space quickly. Confirm whether the exact U.S. model supports microSD before relying on expansion.

The alternatives depend on what you value, and current prices for them are not established by the cited deal reports. Compare live configurations and accessory costs rather than treating the S11’s historical discount as proof that it is the best tablet deal today.

- You want the least expensive device for streaming, browsing, or reading; a midrange or budget tablet may be more economical.
- You are invested in an iPhone and Mac and want Apple’s ecosystem or tablet-app selection.
