Of those, the AirPods were the broadest-interest offer; the Roborock had the largest advertised percentage discount, but also the highest price and the most to verify. BGR’s original roundup is useful as a record of what was promoted, not proof that any deal remains active.

Which advertised deal looked strongest?
- Most broadly appealing: AirPods Pro 2. At $169, the historical price was $80 below the roundup’s $249 comparison figure. It made most sense for someone already using Apple devices who wanted active noise cancellation and Apple ecosystem features—not necessarily for an Android-first buyer or someone set on the newest generation.
- Largest stated percentage cut: Roborock Qrevo Master. The advertised reduction was roughly half the $1,600 reference figure. A large percentage does not make an $800 robot vacuum good value for every home: floor plan, dock space, upkeep and newer alternatives matter.
- Practical home-care purchase: Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe. The $149.99 offer could have suited households that deep-clean carpets often. Storage, drying time, cleaning solution and manual effort are part of the cost of owning a carpet cleaner.
- Potential laptop value: 13-inch M4 MacBook Air at $849. The roundup also listed a 15-inch M4 MacBook Air at $1,049. Check the exact configuration, memory, storage, seller and condition before comparing either price with alternatives.
AirPods Pro 2: a historical $169 price, not a current quote
The roundup described $169 as an all-time-low price against $249. Treat both the “all-time low” label and the price comparison as historical claims from that roundup. The Apple page indexed in the supplied research showed $249 for AirPods Pro 2, while Apple search results also surfaced later-generation AirPods Pro material. That is a sign the product context has changed—not confirmation of a current sale or a complete comparison between generations. Apple lists features including Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, Personalized Spatial Audio and H2 processing. The model’s USB-C MagSafe Charging Case is rated for up to six hours of listening with ANC enabled and up to 30 hours with the case; Apple lists IP54 dust, sweat and water resistance. Hearing Test, Hearing Aid and Hearing Protection features have compatibility and regional qualifications. Before buying at any price, confirm the case and model identifier, and whether the listing is new, open-box or renewed. Check the seller’s return policy and warranty. A lower price on an older generation may appeal to a bargain-seeker, but compare current-generation features and pricing rather than assuming the 2025 promotion remains the best buy.

Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe: account for the work and upkeep
The roundup listed the Hoover cleaner at $149.99, compared with $220. It positioned the machine for households dealing with carpet messes, including pet-related cleaning. The exact model number and listing configuration matter: the available record does not establish what tools or cleaning solution were included, whether the item was new, or whether the $220 figure was MSRP, a list price or a retailer comparison.
A carpet cleaner is most useful when you have enough carpet and clean often enough to justify owning, storing and maintaining one. Also consider drying time, solution costs and the effort of filling, emptying and cleaning tanks. It may be a poor fit for a small home with little storage, mostly hard floors, delicate rugs or occasional cleaning better handled by a rental or professional service.
For any current listing, compare the delivered total, included attachments, warranty coverage and return terms—especially if the seller is a marketplace merchant or return shipping is costly. Hoover’s official site is a place to identify products and support information; it does not verify the old sale price.

Roborock Qrevo Master: a big discount does not answer the fit question
The roundup listed the Qrevo Master at $799.99 against $1,600 and described a robot vacuum-and-mop system with 10,000Pa suction and FlexiArm side-brush technology. Those specifications and the promotional price belong to the historical deal coverage; confirm the exact configuration and current product status with the retailer or Roborock’s U.S. site.

It is less compelling if your home has many thresholds, clutter, delicate rugs or little dock clearance. Robot mops do not eliminate the need for occasional manual deep cleaning, and performance depends on room layout and floor conditions.
Before committing to a high-ticket connected appliance, check replacement bags, pads, brushes and cleaning solution; app availability in your region; warranty coverage; and return shipping. Consider account security and what connected-home data you are comfortable sharing. Compare with newer models and less expensive alternatives: a 50% advertised cut from a reference price is not proof that the remaining price is right for your household.

Coupon codes are especially time-sensitive. The historical listing does not establish that either code still works, who could use it, or whether shipping or other conditions applied. A code is only a real saving if it is accepted before payment and the final total remains favorable.
How to judge a deal you find today
- Check the date and final checkout total. Confirm the exact item is in stock and the price appears in the cart. Add shipping and taxes where possible; do not rely on an old headline or shopping card.
- Match the product precisely. Verify model number, generation, configuration and included accessories. Similar product names can conceal important differences.
- Identify the seller and condition. Check whether the seller is the retailer, a marketplace merchant or the manufacturer, and whether the item is new, refurbished, renewed or open-box.
- Read the terms that affect your downside. Confirm warranty, return window, return-shipping costs and any restocking conditions. For appliances and connected devices, check regional support and replacement-part availability.
- Test the coupon before paying. Review restrictions such as account eligibility, quantity, geography, membership or minimum spend, and ensure the discount actually appears in the order total.
- Question the comparison price. “Was,” “list price,” “regular price” and MSRP can mean different things. Compare the current offer with other sellers and relevant newer models rather than judging by the largest stated percentage.
- Buy for a real need, not the headline discount. A deal is useful only if the product suits your household and the price is competitive now. If the seller, condition or terms are unclear, pause instead of treating urgency language as evidence.
