Leggings that bunch or pull at the crotch can make visible camel toe hard to ignore. In a March 8, 2025, POPSUGAR review, editor Renee Rodriguez said the Jiv Athletics High Rise Thong helped with both problems under leggings that had caused her crotch bunching before. It was a personal wear test, not a lab test or a head-to-head comparison, so it’s best read as one reviewer’s experience—not a guarantee for every body or pair of leggings.
What the reviewer found
Rodriguez washed the thong in a delicates bag, hung it to dry, and wore it with leggings that had previously caused bunching in the crotch area. She described the fabric as lightweight and the design as seamless and tag-less. She also said she wore it all day and largely forgot it was there, apart from when she used the restroom.
Her conclusion was practical rather than technical: she would not wear those leggings without the underwear’s help. That makes the review relevant if your main concern is how leggings sit and feel—not proof that the thong will eliminate visible camel toe for everyone.

How the thong is designed
- Extra coverage: POPSUGAR describes a 3D-knitted molded spacer fabric that adds another layer of coverage.
- Outer fabric: The review lists a blend of 82% recycled micro-polyester and 18% spandex, with a moisture-wicking outer shell.
- Gusset and liner: It has an antimicrobial cotton gusset and a breathable cotton liner.
- Finish: Rodriguez found it seamless and tag-less, details she associated with comfort under close-fitting clothes.
What the review does—and doesn’t—establish
The POPSUGAR product card displayed a five-star rating, but the source gives no numerical testing sample, published performance statistics, lab results, or competitor benchmark. The claims about comfort and reducing the appearance or feeling of crotch bunching come from Rodriguez’s individual experience. Fit, garment fabric, body shape, and movement can all affect how underwear performs under leggings, so the review cannot establish a universal result.
