BGR described the iPad price as an all-time low; that claim should be treated as BGR’s characterization, not a verified price-history finding. What each offer meant for a buyer
Apple iPad 9th generation: $199
This was an older iPad generation, not a current-model iPad. Before relying on the price, confirm the storage capacity, color, seller, and whether the unit was new, refurbished, or open-box; also check what charger and cable, if any, came in the box. Its Lightning connector, Home button, and larger bezels distinguish it from newer designs. It may suit reading, streaming, browsing, or basic school tasks, but buyers who need USB-C, demanding creative apps, or a longer support runway should compare newer models. Soundcore P20i earbuds: $19.99
The P20i is a budget true-wireless model. Soundcore lists 10 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, IPX5 water resistance, app-based controls, and estimated playback of up to 10 hours from the earbuds or up to 30 hours with the case. The company also says a 10-minute charge can provide about two hours of playback. These are manufacturer estimates; actual battery life varies with volume, calls, and use. IPX5 is not waterproofing for submersion, and the P20i does not offer active noise cancellation. See Soundcore’s product details; the official page recently showed a different price, so $19.99 should be understood as the roundup’s 2024 sale price, not today’s.

The listed price was for a low-cost indoor camera offer; check whether it covered only the camera or a bundle. Before buying, find out how video recording works, whether local storage is available for the configuration, whether a trial is included, and which features require a paid plan. Also check Wi-Fi and app requirements. The roundup reported a $549 price after applying code BGR100OFF on the U.S. store, against a stated $729 comparison price. The coupon and price may have expired. For any listing, inspect the exact processor generation, RAM and SSD capacity, operating system, ports, wireless connectivity, warranty, and return policy. Mini-PC performance depends on the configuration and sustained cooling; without benchmarks for the exact unit, a headline discount does not establish how it will handle demanding work. Check whether the comparison price reflects a recent normal selling price or merely a reference price. - Match the exact item. Confirm model, generation, storage, color, condition, and seller; a similar product name can hide a different configuration.
- Check the full checkout price. Apply any coupon, then account for shipping, tax, required accessories, and membership costs. A headline price may apply only to one option or a limited promotion.
- Compare recent prices, not just list price. A manufacturer’s reference price is not necessarily what the product normally sells for. Use a reliable price-history source if you want to establish whether a discount is unusual.
