TEZ ERP may suit Indian SMEs looking to combine accounting, GST workflows, inventory, sales, and operations, but ask for a written, itemized quote and test the workflows in a demo before deciding. Public review evidence is too thin and inconsistent to treat its 4.3/5 marketplace score as a reliable customer consensus.

Pricing-plan warning: TEZ ERP prices vary by source and page. Do not treat those plan names or limits as a confirmed current rate card. Ask for the current package details in writing.
The most useful comparison is not ₹350 per month versus ₹25,000 upfront: the sources may describe different deployments or scopes. Compare quotes for the same number of users and locations, the same modules, hosting model, implementation work, and support term. Do not annualize or otherwise extrapolate the ₹350 figure until its exact meaning is confirmed.
What can change the total cost?
TEZ says pricing can depend on users, locations, modules, training, data migration, data volume, industry, hosting, reports, customization, and implementation. Its headline license figure therefore may not be the full amount needed to get a working system. Build a total-cost estimate around:

For example, if the current product price in your quote is ₹1,00,000, 20% would equal ₹20,000 for the relevant AMC period. That is an illustration of the FAQ’s stated percentage, not a guaranteed invoice: confirm the period and whether the calculation is based on a discounted price, customization, or taxes.
The FAQ also says customers can add users and modules later by paying the difference. Ask whether that difference is calculated from current list pricing and whether adding capacity requires any migration, configuration, or downtime.
What is TEZ ERP?

Some are identified as optional modules, so do not assume that all are included in the price of a base package.
Features to evaluate in a demo
Accounting and Indian tax workflows
The vendor lists cash and credit sales and purchases, receipts and payments, expense and journal vouchers, cash and bank books, debit and credit notes, ledgers, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, GST reports such as GSTR-1, GSTR-2, and GSTR-3B, HSN summaries, e-invoices, e-way bills, and TDS tracking. Ask the vendor to run your actual workflows, including corrections and month-end reporting. Tax rules and portal requirements change; verify that current support matches your business, transaction types, and filing process rather than relying on a general compliance claim.
Inventory and manufacturing
Listed capabilities include multi-level inventory grouping, stock transfers, serial-number tracking, barcode generation, POS billing, Bills of Materials, production registers, work orders, material requisitions, job work, quality control, and expected-versus-actual consumption and variance reporting. Manufacturers should test costing, wastage, substitutions, rework, and the handling of partial production—not just the creation of a sample work order.
Sales, CRM, and optional modules
TEZ lists lead and opportunity management, follow-ups, quotations, orders, sales-executive tracking, targets, campaigns, and task management. Its overview also identifies CRM, document management, customer portal, e-shop, AMC/help desk, time management, payroll, and manufacturing as optional modules. Confirm which are available in your quote, whether they require separate licenses, and how data moves between them.

The vendor describes browser access from PCs, Macs, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, with multiple locations accessing data in real time. That does not establish that every workflow is comfortable on a phone or that a native app exists. Techjockey reports that a dedicated Android or iOS app is unavailable. Test the mobile browser experience for order entry, inventory lookup, approvals, collections, and reports; ask specifically about offline use, barcode scanning, notifications, and field work.
The TEZ FAQ also gives customer-hosting minimum specifications of Windows Server 2012, root access, MS-SQL 2014, a two-core CPU, 8 GB RAM, and 500 GB HDD. These are dated published requirements, not a recommendation for a new 2026 deployment. Confirm currently supported Windows and SQL Server versions, security updates, backup responsibilities, and licensing before choosing self-hosting.
TEZ ERP reviews: what does 4.3/5 mean?
Techjockey’s ERP category page displays TEZ ERP at 4.3/5, with component scores of 4.2 for ease of use, 4.3 for value, 4.3 for features, and 4.5 for support—but the same category listing shows zero user reviews. A search-result extract for the product page showed 4.3 and five ratings, while the opened page did not clearly preserve the same review count. The public count is therefore inconsistent.
That score is a weak signal, not proof of broad customer satisfaction. The available listing does not establish how many verified customers contributed, whether the score comes from written reviews or other marketplace data, or whether feedback covers the current product version, implementation, support, migrations, uptime, and long-term ownership. Request references from customers in a similar industry and of similar size, transaction volume, branch count, and manufacturing or tax complexity.

TEZ is worth evaluating if your business operates mainly in India, needs accounting and GST workflows alongside inventory or operations, and is comfortable requesting a tailored quote. Traders may focus on purchase, sales, stock, credit, and branch workflows. Manufacturers should scrutinize Bills of Materials, work orders, job work, quality control, and production variance. Service businesses should verify CRM, invoicing, time management, and payroll requirements. Accountants and CAs should check multi-company workflows, permissions, reporting, and client access. For any multi-location business, test how branches share data and how permissions and audit trails work.

It may be a weaker shortlist choice if you require a transparent self-serve price, mature native mobile apps, extensive publicly documented integrations, global tax localization, or independently verified security, uptime, and performance benchmarks. Those are reasons to ask more questions or compare alternatives—not evidence that TEZ definitively lacks every such capability.

- Is the quoted amount a perpetual license, subscription, or hybrid? What does it cover and for how long?
- Is pricing per company, branch, location, database, named user, or concurrent user?
- Which modules, transaction volumes, storage allowances, and reports are included? Are there fair-use limits?
- Is GST extra? Are implementation, configuration, training, and migration included? Specify the number of training sessions and migration scope.
- Is hosting included? If not, itemize server setup, infrastructure, bandwidth, backup, operating-system and SQL Server licenses, and installation.
- What do the one-year free-support period and later AMC cover? Does AMC include upgrades, and how is 20% calculated?
- Are CRM, payroll, manufacturing, e-shop, customer portal, integrations, APIs, and custom reports extra?
- How much do SMS and WhatsApp packs cost? What are the limits and rules for transactional messages?
- What data can you export, in which formats, and at what point? What are the exit, backup-retention, and migration-assistance terms?
Make the demo resemble your business
- Accounting: Create a company and branch, configure GST, enter sales and purchases, issue debit and credit notes, reconcile a bank account, review receivables and payables, and export financial reports.
- Inventory: Test locations or warehouses, transfers, serials or batches, barcodes, negative-stock controls, reorder alerts, and physical stock adjustments.
- Manufacturing: Build and revise a Bill of Materials, create work orders and material requisitions, record job work and quality checks, and inspect wastage, variance, and production costing.
- Sales and CRM: Convert a lead to a quotation, order, and invoice; test follow-up reminders, executive tracking, customer communication, and portal access if quoted.
- Compliance and messaging: Run your e-invoice, e-way bill, and GST-report workflows; configure email and ask to see message-pack setup and pricing.
- Administration and support: Test role permissions and audit logs, add and remove a user, export data, and ask to see backup and restoration, ticket submission, escalation, upgrades, and remote support.
For migration, ask which import formats are supported, how much transaction history can be transferred, who cleans master data, and whether the project includes a trial migration, validation reports, reconciliation, and post-migration corrections. Do not treat a successful sample import as proof that historical balances and reports reconcile.
