Starbucks’ U.S. summer menu arrived on May 20, 2025. Its headline drink was the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso; the returning Summer-Berry Refreshers came in three versions, alongside a new Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop. A separate Firework Frappuccino was available for a limited run in U.S. cafes from July 1–7, while supplies lasted.
When did Starbucks’ U.S. summer menu come out?
The seasonal U.S. items launched May 20, 2025. That date applies to the U.S. announcement, not to every Starbucks market: summer menus differed by region.
What was the new Starbucks summer drink for 2025?
Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
The new headline beverage combined Blonde Espresso and oatmilk with horchata-flavored syrup. Starbucks described cinnamon, vanilla and subtle nutty notes in its flavor profile.
Which Summer-Berry Refreshers were on the U.S. menu?
The Summer-Berry Refreshers, first introduced in 2024, returned with raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavors and raspberry-flavored pearls. Customers could choose among three preparations:

Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop
The new cake pop was made with strawberry cream cake and buttercream, then dipped in chocolaty icing.
Firework Frappuccino
Separate from the May launch, the Firework Frappuccino was offered in U.S. cafes July 1–7, 2025, while supplies lasted. Starbucks described it as layers of Summer-Berry Refresher flavors, coconutmilk, raspberry-flavored pearls and strawberry purée, topped with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. Amanda Conaway, who helped bring the drink to cafes, called it “a summer vacation in a cup.”

How did Starbucks’ summer menus differ by region?
The U.S. lineup was not a worldwide menu. Starbucks EMEA centered its Summer 2025 offerings on a Tiramisu Cream platform, including Tiramisu Cream Cold Foam and an iced latte with vanilla mascarpone and cocoa. In Canada, Starbucks promoted returning Summer-Berry Refreshers and White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew. These are regional highlights, not evidence that every listed item was available across an entire region for the same dates.
