Samsung’s U.S. 4th of July TV sale was already live by June 24, 2025, and it included at least one notable price on a new 2025 set: the 55-inch S90F OLED was listed at $1,599.99. But the biggest advertised saving in the roundup was not on a 2025 model: a 75-inch 2024 The Frame was $1,999.99, down $1,000 from its stated reference price. The distinction matters if you are judging how much Samsung cut prices on its newest TVs.
These are historical sale prices reported before Independence Day 2025, not current offers. Treat “lowest price yet” as a claim made at the time, not a guarantee that the price lasted through July 4 or remained the best deal afterward.

The dated price examples come from TechRadar’s June 24, 2025 roundup. The listing does not establish that every price came from Samsung.com, that each offer was still available on July 4, or that all screen sizes were discounted. Check the seller, exact model number, condition, delivery costs, and return terms before relying on any historical deal as a buying benchmark.
Best confirmed 2025 deal: 55-inch S90F OLED
The 55-inch S90F at $1,599.99 is the clearest example in the available coverage of a discount on a new 2025 Samsung TV. The deal roundup called it the model’s lowest price yet at the time. Samsung identifies the 55-inch S90F as a 2025 OLED.

That makes the S90F the strongest documented choice for a shopper specifically seeking a 2025 Samsung OLED in this sale. It does not establish the size of the discount: without a verified comparison price, calculating a dollar or percentage reduction would be guesswork. Nor does a June 24 price prove the set stayed at that price through the holiday.
OLED is worth considering if you prioritize contrast and dark-room movie viewing. Other 2025 Samsung models: don’t assume they were on sale
Samsung’s 2025 OLED lineup includes the S95F, S90F, and S85F, while its 2025 Neo QLED 4K range includes the QN90F, QN80F, and QN70F. The $1,000 Frame saving was on a 2024 TV
The 75-inch The Frame listed at $1,999.99, reduced from $2,999.99, is the sale’s standout discount in dollar terms: $1,000, or roughly one-third off the stated reference price. But the deal coverage identifies it as the 2024 model, not the 2025 generation. It should not be counted as evidence that Samsung cut a 2025 television by $1,000.
The Frame is designed to serve as a television and display artwork when idle, so its design-focused features may be worth paying for if they matter to you. If your priority is picture quality per dollar, compare it with conventional OLED or QLED alternatives at the same size. Also check the model-year suffix: Samsung’s naming can make a 2024 LS03D easy to confuse with a 2025 LS03F.

The reported $549.99 price for a 75-inch Crystal UHD set is striking for a large screen, but the available listing does not establish its exact model year or reference price. Without the model number, it is not possible to say whether it was a 2025 set or calculate a dependable discount. Verify the precise listing and specifications rather than treating this as a confirmed 2025 TV deal.
Lower-cost TVs can make sense when screen size and price matter most. They may involve compromises compared with premium OLED or Neo QLED models, including in areas such as brightness, processing, local dimming, viewing angles, or gaming features. Confirm the specific model’s capabilities before buying, especially if you want strong HDR performance or features for a current console.
Was the July 4 sale worth buying?
It could be, but the answer depends on the exact model and your timing. The June 24 S90F price is a meaningful point of comparison for someone who wanted that 2025 OLED before the holiday. However, a later 2025 Prime Day report listed a 65-inch QN90F at $1,999.99 after a $500 reduction, showing that discounts on 2025 Samsung TVs continued into another sale period. That later price is a separate historical offer, not proof that it was available for July 4 or that it was better value for every buyer.
Use this checklist before acting on a sale price:
- Match the exact model and size. A deal on a 55-inch set does not establish a comparable price for the 65-inch or 75-inch version. Check the model number and year, not just “Samsung OLED” or “The Frame.”
- Compare against real prices, not just a crossed-out figure. A stated reference price may be an MSRP rather than the TV’s recent street price. The S90F report supplies a “lowest price yet” claim dated June 24, but not a price history or reference price.
- Check who is selling and what is included. Samsung.com and retailers may differ on price, bundles, credits, trade-ins, pickup, and open-box listings. A credit or accessory only adds value if you will use it.
