Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra deal offering ₹12,000 cashback in India was genuine, but it was a limited-period promotion reported on June 3, 2025, with validity stated through June 14, 2025. It should not be treated as a live September 2026 offer unless Samsung’s current checkout confirms it.
The reported effective price was ₹1,17,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, against its ₹1,29,999 launch price. That was an effective saving through cashback, not necessarily a permanent reduction in Samsung’s listed price.

Contemporary reporting attributed the promotion to Samsung India’s online store. It did not establish that the offer applied to every retailer, offline store, colour, payment method or storage tier.

The June report listed these promotional prices:

These are historical reported figures, not verified current Samsung India prices. Samsung’s official January 2025 launch announcement listed the variants at ₹1,29,999, ₹1,41,999 and ₹1,65,999 respectively. The ₹12,000 cashback should therefore not automatically be generalized to the 512GB or 1TB models.

Colour eligibility also requires care. An earlier April 2025 promotion was reported as applying only to the Titanium Silverblue edition, demonstrating that Samsung’s offer terms could be SKU- or colour-specific. Check the exact product selected at checkout rather than relying on the headline offer.
What “instant cashback” means
Instant cashback generally means the eligible discount is applied during the purchase process or reflected through the payment transaction, rather than being paid months later. It does not mean every customer using any card or payment method automatically received ₹12,000.
The original coverage does not provide enough detail to confirm the eligible card or lender, minimum transaction value, cashback cap, colour restrictions, or whether the offer could be combined with exchange bonuses, Samsung Rewards or other bank promotions. Those conditions should be treated as essential checkout checks.

No-cost EMI: an important arithmetic problem
The June report named HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, IDFC FIRST Bank, TVS Credit, HDB Financial Services and Samsung Finance, and quoted EMI from approximately ₹3,278 per month. However, the same coverage described the offer as a 24-month no-cost EMI.
Those figures do not reconcile:
- ₹1,17,999 divided by 24 months is approximately ₹4,916.63 per month.
- ₹1,17,999 divided by 36 months is approximately ₹3,277.75 per month.
- ₹3,278 multiplied by 36 equals ₹1,18,008, which is approximately the reported promotional price.
Accordingly, do not assume that ₹3,278 was a 24-month repayment. It may have reflected a roughly 36-month calculation, or a different financed amount. The original checkout schedule would have been needed to resolve the discrepancy.
“No-cost” EMI also does not necessarily mean completely fee-free borrowing. Depending on the lender and transaction, you may still encounter a processing fee, GST on applicable charges, a down payment, administrative charges or foreclosure and cancellation terms. Compare the total repayment—not just the monthly figure.

Was this the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra launch offer?
No. Samsung’s official January 2025 launch announcement described different benefits:

The later June promotion was reported as ₹12,000 cashback, while the launch offer primarily involved storage or upgrade benefits. These are not economically identical. A buyer who needed 512GB could have valued the launch storage upgrade more highly than a cash discount on the 256GB version.
Cashback versus storage upgrade and exchange
The June cashback would have been most attractive to someone who wanted the 256GB model, had an eligible payment method and could complete the purchase during the stated promotional period.

The storage-upgrade offer could be better for buyers who record substantial video, install large games or intend to keep the phone for several years. Conversely, an exchange bonus may produce a lower final price for someone with a qualifying device. Exchange values depend on the model, condition, inspection, location and fulfilment rules; treat the displayed value as an estimate until the transaction is accepted.
Do not add together cashback, exchange bonuses, storage upgrades, rewards and bank discounts unless the checkout explicitly permits stacking. The relevant number is the final payable amount and, for EMI, the total repayment after fees and taxes.

How to check whether a current offer is real
Because Samsung’s prices and promotions can change by location, colour, login state, stock, payment method and date, use the live buying flow rather than an old deal article:
- Open the official Samsung India Galaxy S25 Ultra buying page.
- Select the precise storage capacity and colour.
- Check the displayed device price and add the product to the cart.
- Choose the intended card or EMI provider and tenure.
- Confirm the cashback or discount line in the order summary.
- Review processing fees, GST, down payment and total EMI repayment.
- Check the offer’s expiry, eligibility and cancellation terms before paying.
As of the available 2026 research, Samsung’s buying page showed the S25 Ultra storage options but did not reliably expose a current ₹12,000 cashback or a confirmed current price. The June 2025 figure should therefore be labelled historical unless the live checkout says otherwise.

- Customers able to use an eligible card or financing provider.
- Buyers who did not have a more valuable storage upgrade or exchange benefit.
- People who valued the S25 Ultra’s camera flexibility, large display, S Pen and flagship performance.
It may not have been the best option for someone who needed 512GB, had a valuable exchange phone, wanted the lowest current market price or preferred to avoid financing fees and repayment conditions.
