Samsung announced the Galaxy Book5 360, Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 in India on March 11, 2025. Launch prices started at ₹114,990, ₹131,990 and ₹155,990 respectively. Samsung also advertised bank cashback, discounted Galaxy Buds3 Pro, no-cost EMI and a student discount.
These are March 2025 launch prices, not a promise of current stock or pricing. Samsung’s India listings can show different prices, configuration-specific availability and “Coming back soon” notices.
Galaxy Book5 India launch date and availability
Samsung’s official announcement was dated March 11, 2025. The company said customers could purchase the laptops through Samsung.com, Samsung India Smart Cafés, selected authorised retailers and other online portals, while also stating that wider India availability would begin on March 20, 2025.
Samsung’s online store and Shop app listings were reported as available around March 11, although wider retail availability was less clear. Therefore, March 11 is best understood as the announcement and early online-sale date, while March 20 was Samsung’s stated broader availability date.

All three use Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and include a 2MP, 1080p camera. Samsung promoted features including AI Select, Photo Remaster, Recall, Microsoft Copilot+ PC functionality, Phone Link, Quick Share, Multi-Control and Second Screen. Availability and requirements for individual AI features can vary by software version, account, internet connection, compatible device and supported language.

The Buds3 Pro prices differ between Samsung’s official announcement and the SamMobile report. Neither should be treated as a permanent or universal offer. Cashback, exchange bonuses, student discounts, welcome benefits and accessory pricing may depend on the model, payment method, account, purchase channel and promotion period. They may not stack. Which Galaxy Book5 should you buy?
- Best value among the original trio: The Galaxy Book5 360 has the lowest launch price and adds a convertible hinge, but its FHD 60Hz screen is less premium than the Pro models.
- Best conventional premium laptop: The Galaxy Book5 Pro is the better fit if you want a sharp 3K 120Hz AMOLED display without paying for a 360-degree hinge. Choose the 14-inch model for portability and the 16-inch model for workspace.
- Best convertible: The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 combines the Pro display and speakers with a 360-degree design for tablet use, note-taking and presentations. It is also the most expensive of the original three.
- Best for frequent travel: The 14-inch Galaxy Book5 Pro weighs 1.23kg according to Samsung’s launch specifications. The larger 16-inch models are better suited to desk-based productivity.
- Best for Samsung ecosystem users: Any of the three can make more sense if you already use compatible Galaxy phones or tablets and will use features such as Quick Share, Multi-Control, Phone Link or Second Screen.
Intel Arc integrated graphics are suitable for ordinary productivity and supported creative workloads, but they are not a replacement for a dedicated gaming GPU. Buyers focused on gaming or demanding GPU-heavy work should not choose solely on the AI branding or processor name.

Later update: the standard Galaxy Book5
Samsung did not launch the regular, non-convertible Galaxy Book5 with the March 2025 trio. It arrived separately on August 29, 2025, with a starting price of ₹77,990.
The later model has a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display, a 61.2Wh battery and a claimed battery life of up to 19 hours of video playback. Samsung announced four variants using Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 processors, in Grey. Its launch promotions included up to ₹10,000 bank cashback and up to 24 months’ no-cost EMI.

It is the most affordable entry point, but its FHD 60Hz screen and conventional design make it a different proposition from the premium 3K AMOLED Pro models and the convertible Book5 360 versions.
Current availability and pricing note
As checked on August 18, 2026, Samsung India product pages showed configuration-specific prices, reward points, bank discounts, exchange options, financing and Samsung Care+ choices. One Galaxy Book5 Pro listing displayed ₹171,990 with an HDFC instant bank discount of ₹5,000 and reward points worth up to ₹2,640, while some configurations showed “Coming back soon.”
