Yes—Roku Select Series 4K TVs have been advertised for up to $100 off, but that discount applies to selected models, not every size. The clearest example is the 55-inch 4K model listed at $249.99 rather than $349.99. Prices vary by retailer, date, model generation, and local stock, so treat these as observed prices—not a promise of what you’ll pay today.
There’s also an important model distinction: older Select Series 4K models such as the R4C5 are not the same as newer Select Series QLED models. Check the full model number and display type before buying.
Observed Roku Select Series 4K prices
Roku’s product finder showed the following prices for its R4C5 Select Series 4K models. They are snapshots, not guaranteed live offers; confirm the price, seller, condition, and availability on the retailer’s checkout page.

Roku’s product finder displayed conflicting prices for the 75-inch R4C5, so don’t rely on the larger apparent discount without checking the live listing. Retailer promotions may also have different regular-price comparisons. The “up to $100 off” wording describes a maximum reduction on selected models; it does not mean every model is discounted by $100.

The clearest deal: the 55-inch model
At $249.99 against a listed $349.99 regular price, the 55-inch 55R4C5 is the most straightforward match for the headline. It offers a useful middle ground for a main room or bedroom without the cost of a larger screen. That makes it a reasonable value for shoppers who prioritize screen size, Roku’s interface, and everyday streaming over high-end picture performance.
A separate report dated June 29, 2026, described Best Buy pricing of $249.99 for a 55-inch Select Series 4K QLED TV, down from $349.99. It also listed the 65-inch QLED at $349.99 instead of $449.99 and the 75-inch model at $499.99 instead of $699.99. Those were newer QLED models, not necessarily the R4C5 models in Roku’s finder. The Best Buy deal report is evidence of a separate promotion, not proof that those prices remain available.

R4C5 versus newer QLED models: check the model number
“Roku Select Series 4K” covers more than one product generation. The R4C5 models in the price table are listed as Select Series 4K TVs. Roku’s current product information separately identifies newer models, including 50R5D5, 55R5D5, 65R5D5, 75R5D5, and 85R5D5 as Select Series 4K QLED TVs; the current 43-inch model is identified as 43R4E5 and uses an LED display. Roku support also identifies 2026 Roku-designed models with R5DX identifiers. These model codes are not interchangeable. See Roku’s Select Series product page and its Roku-branded TV model information.
QLED can support more vivid colors than an ordinary LED display, but the label alone doesn’t guarantee deep blacks, high brightness, or premium HDR. A budget QLED TV is not equivalent to an OLED set, and the precise performance depends on the model. If QLED is important to you, confirm that the retailer listing names the QLED version and gives the matching model number.

What these TVs offer—and what 4K doesn’t promise
Roku’s current Select Series page lists 4K resolution, direct-lit backlighting, HDR10+ and HLG format support, Wi-Fi 5, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Dolby Audio, and Roku OS. Listed smart-home and device features include Apple AirPlay, Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home compatibility. The current design shows three HDMI inputs, including one HDMI eARC connection; USB-A is listed on 50- through 85-inch models. Enhanced voice remotes are listed for 50- through 85-inch models, and VESA mounting details vary by size.
Check the page for the exact TV you are considering: features and port layouts can vary by generation, size, and retailer listing. HDR format compatibility means the TV can accept supported HDR content; it does not guarantee especially bright highlights or strong contrast. A low-cost 4K screen can be perfectly serviceable for streaming while still falling short of pricier TVs for dark-scene detail, motion, and processing of low-quality video.

Who should consider one?
- Roku fans: A straightforward choice if you already like Roku’s menus, streaming setup, and voice controls.
- Secondary rooms: The 43- or 50-inch sizes may suit a bedroom, dorm, or guest room; measure the space and check the stand and mounting details.
- Budget streaming: The 55-inch at $249.99 is compelling if that exact price is still available and you want an inexpensive, large 4K screen for ordinary viewing.
- Casual gaming: It may work for standard console play, but check the model’s refresh rate and gaming specifications first. Don’t assume that “4K” means advanced gaming features.
Who may want to skip it?
- Bright-room HDR viewers: If you watch a lot of HDR in a sunny room, a budget direct-lit TV may not deliver the brightness you want.
- Movie enthusiasts: If dark-room contrast, black levels, and fine image processing matter most, compare higher-tier options rather than buying on discount alone.
- Competitive or high-end gamers: A 2025 report on the older Select Series cited the absence of HDMI 2.1, VRR, and ALLM. That is attributed coverage, not a specification for every newer model; verify the exact TV’s gaming features before purchase. See the report on the older models.
- Picture quality first: A sale price can make a large screen affordable, but it does not establish that this is the best-performing TV at that price. Compare exact alternatives, including Roku’s Plus Series and third-party Roku TVs.
Before you buy: a quick checkout checklist
- Match the full model number. Don’t rely on the broad “Select Series 4K” name.
- Confirm LED or QLED. Make sure the display type in the listing matches what you want.
- Check who is selling it and its condition. Confirm it is new stock if that is what you intend to buy, rather than open-box, refurbished, or marketplace inventory.
- Review the real total. Shipping, pickup, delivery, installation, and haul-away fees can change the effective price; availability can depend on your ZIP code.
- Read return terms. Check the return window and any restocking conditions before ordering.
- Verify the remote and connections. Confirm the remote type, HDMI count, eARC placement, and USB availability on the exact model page.
- Measure before choosing a size. Check the screen dimensions, stand width, and VESA pattern if wall mounting.
- Interpret the discount carefully. A “was” price may be a listed regular price rather than a recent price you could consistently have paid.
The original “up to $100 off” headline appeared in an April 2, 2025 report about an Amazon sale.
