Realme launched the Narzo 80 Pro 5G and Narzo 80x 5G in India on April 9, 2025. The launch event began at noon, while the Narzo 80 Pro early-bird sale ran from 6 p.m. to midnight through Realme’s website and Amazon. The launch promotion also included a limited, verification-based screen-damage-protection benefit for eligible students buying the Narzo 80 Pro.
Because the launch and student-benefit deadlines have passed, the prices and offer details below are historical—not current 2026 purchase promises.
Launch date and early-sale timing
Realme’s India launch event for both phones was scheduled for April 9, 2025, at 12 noon. That was the launch date, not the start of an upcoming sale.

The clearest reported early-sale channels were the Realme India website and Amazon India. Realme also identified select retail stores for availability, but offers were not necessarily identical across every seller.

These are launch prices, not necessarily the prices available now. Realme’s later seventh-anniversary promotion listed lower effective prices—₹17,999, ₹19,499 and ₹21,499 for the Pro variants, and ₹11,999 and ₹12,999 for the 80x variants. Those later prices should not be confused with April launch pricing or treated as current without checking a live retailer listing. See Realme’s anniversary-sale announcement.

What was the student benefit?
The student promotion was not a direct cash discount. Under Realme’s published terms, eligible and verified students who purchased the Narzo 80 Pro 5G could receive one additional year of screen-damage protection at no extra charge.

The published terms did not establish the same benefit for the Narzo 80x 5G. Student verification alone was also not enough: buyers had to activate the phone, complete verification and register for the benefit.
Historical eligibility dates
- Qualifying purchase: April 9–18, 2025
- Verification and registration deadline: April 28, 2025
- Benefit issuance: May 8, 2025
These deadlines have passed. The offer should not be presented as an active 2026 student incentive unless Realme publishes new terms.

How the claim process worked
Purchases through Realme’s webstore:
- Buy the Narzo 80 Pro during the qualifying period.
- Activate the phone.
- Enrol in Realme’s Student Discount Program.
- Complete student identity verification through the official Realme webstore app.
- Register for the benefit and retrieve the eligibility coupon or benefit through the account or coupon area.
Purchases through Amazon:
- Buy and activate the Narzo 80 Pro during the qualifying period.
- Complete student verification in the Realme app.
- Obtain the eligibility certificate coupon or find it in the coupon zone.
- Contact Realme customer service.
- Provide the Realme user ID and device IMEI, along with any additional information requested.

Realme also promoted a peak brightness figure of 4,500 nits. That is a manufacturer peak-brightness specification, not a guarantee of sustained full-screen brightness in ordinary use. Similarly, claims about gaming performance, cooling and battery endurance should be understood as manufacturer claims unless independently tested.

Choose the Narzo 80 Pro if
- You can spend roughly ₹5,000–₹10,000 more than the 80x, depending on configuration.
- You want OLED, faster charging and stronger performance.
- You play demanding games or need 256GB storage.
- OIS is important for handheld photography and video.
Choose the Narzo 80x if
- Your budget is near ₹14,000–₹15,000.
- You mainly want battery life and a 120Hz display.
- You need microSD expansion.
- You are willing to trade gaming performance, OLED and OIS for a lower price.
Neither phone is a flagship. The Pro is better described as a performance-oriented budget or mid-range device, while the 80x is a value-focused 5G phone.
