Dual-driver audio
Each earbud uses an 11mm woofer and 6mm tweeter, with separate DACs and Dynaudio-tuned sound profiles. OnePlus lists LHDC 5.0, AAC and SBC support, with Hi-Res playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz when the phone, codec and software support it. OnePlus rates the adaptive active noise cancellation at up to 50 dB. That is a manufacturer test claim, not a universal real-world attenuation measurement. The call system combines three microphones, a voice-pickup bone sensor and AI Clear Call processing.

These are controlled claims, not a guarantee of everyday runtime. Calls, higher volume, spatial audio, interference and other settings can reduce it. Connectivity and physical design

IP55 is not a swimming or waterproof rating. Resistance can decline with age, and OnePlus excludes liquid and dust damage from its warranty disclaimer.
Compatibility caveats that affect value
The Buds Pro 3 work as Bluetooth earbuds with many devices, but feature access is not identical everywhere. LHDC and the advertised Hi-Res experience require compatible source hardware and software; OnePlus states that Hi-Res functionality is not supported on iOS. Advanced functions such as spatial audio, head tracking, Golden Sound, translation and gaming features can depend on a particular OnePlus phone, operating-system version or app version.

That makes the $129.99 price most compelling for Android owners—especially people using a recent OnePlus phone. iPhone buyers should treat the hardware as ordinary Bluetooth earbuds unless the specific features they need are confirmed to work on iOS.
