NinjaOne says it ended fiscal 2025 with more than $500 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), nearly 70% year-over-year revenue growth, and more than 35,000 customers across 140-plus countries. The private software company’s June 2026 financing announcement later put its valuation at $12.3 billion. These are company-reported figures, not audited public-company results: ARR is not the same as recognized revenue or profit, and a valuation is an investor pricing signal, not a measure of cash generation.
The growth story is also a bet on breadth. NinjaOne is expanding from remote monitoring and management (RMM) and endpoint management into patching, mobile-device management, remote access, backup, and other IT operations tools. That could make it more valuable to IT teams and managed service providers (MSPs)—if it can integrate the products, sustain growth, and prove that a broader platform works as well as the individual tools it aims to replace.
What NinjaOne reported for fiscal 2025
In an announcement dated January 6, 2026, NinjaOne said it surpassed $500 million in ARR during FY2025, with reported year-over-year revenue growth of nearly 70%. It also reported that its customer base grew by more than 60%, to 35,000 customers in more than 140 countries. NinjaOne’s announcement is the source for these figures.

ARR estimates the annualized value of recurring subscriptions at a point in time. It can help show the scale and momentum of a subscription business, but it is not necessarily the revenue recognized under accounting rules over a full year. Nor does it reveal net income, cash flow, customer retention, or how much customers spend on average. NinjaOne is private, and the cited announcement does not provide a full income statement or a breakdown of bookings, churn, customer concentration, or growth by product.

That distinction matters when judging the headline. NinjaOne reported a fast-growing recurring-revenue business; the announcement alone does not establish how profitable or durable that growth is.
From RMM to a broader IT operations platform
NinjaOne’s original center of gravity is endpoint management and RMM: helping IT teams and MSPs monitor and manage computers and other devices, deploy software, and handle routine maintenance remotely. The company’s FY2025 account describes expansion around that core, including automated patching, macOS mobile device management, NinjaOne Remote, Patch Intelligence AI, and vulnerability and patch-management capabilities. It also points to integrations with Microsoft Intune and ServiceNow.
The wider direction is toward a single operational layer for more of the work IT teams perform. NinjaOne’s product and FAQ pages list or describe endpoint management, patch management, remote access, mobile device management, backup, and service-provider tools such as ticketing, documentation, PSA (professional services automation), and billing. The exact product bundle and availability can vary, so buyers should confirm which modules and integrations are included in a quote rather than assuming every capability comes with a base subscription. See the company’s pricing page and FAQ.
NinjaOne says 71% of customers use its solution to replace more than four legacy tools, according to ITPro’s coverage of the company’s growth announcement. That is a company-supplied measure of the consolidation pitch, not independent proof that every customer has removed four products or reduced its costs by a particular amount.
Why consolidation appeals—and what it can cost
Replacing disconnected management consoles can reduce the number of integrations, policy interfaces, and workflows a team has to maintain. When device, patch, remote-access, and backup information is accessible through connected tools, technicians may have an easier time coordinating work. MSPs may also be able to package more services around a shared platform.

But consolidation is a trade-off, not a guaranteed saving. A broad suite can mean more dependence on one vendor, and a platform outage, compromised administrator account, or mistaken policy could affect more operations at once. Buyers may also give up specialist features available from best-of-breed products. As data and processes accumulate in one system, migrating away can become more demanding. The practical question is whether each NinjaOne module works well enough for the buyer’s particular workload—not simply how many product names appear on a platform page.
Dropsuite expands the backup proposition
NinjaOne’s acquisition of Dropsuite adds backup and data-protection capabilities to its expansion beyond endpoint management. That gives the company a way to address more of the lifecycle around managed devices and business data, and potentially to sell additional services to existing customers.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteAcquisition does not automatically equal product integration. Customers should establish whether backup policies, reporting, billing, support, and administration are unified with the rest of NinjaOne or still operate as a separate product family. They should also test actual restore workflows and confirm retention, storage, recovery objectives, and the treatment of data if the relationship ends. The available growth announcement does not quantify how much of FY2025 growth came from Dropsuite, cross-selling, or organic demand.
AI is a growth direction, not proof of autonomous IT
NinjaOne has promoted Patch Intelligence AI and described AI as a focus across the platform and its internal operations in its June 2026 announcement. That makes AI part of the company’s strategy, but does not by itself show that AI is safely automating IT operations at scale or measurably reducing technicians’ workloads.
Patching can affect system availability, security, and business-critical applications. Before enabling AI-assisted recommendations or remediation, a buyer should ask what data is collected, how recommendations are explained, whether a human must approve changes, and how the system records decisions. A credible pilot should include staged deployment rings, exclusions for sensitive devices, rollback procedures, and reports on failed or deferred patches. Test false positives and the experience across the operating systems and device types actually in use; do not infer uniform performance across Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile, and SaaS services from a general AI claim.

Healthcare and government offer routes upmarket
NinjaOne reported almost 1,000 new healthcare customers over the prior year and nearly 70% year-over-year growth in healthcare-related ARR at HIMSS 2026. Those are company-reported sector figures, not independent market-share data. Healthcare can be an attractive market for endpoint operations because providers manage distributed devices, face strong availability and security demands, and have audit and compliance obligations. It is also a demanding environment: clinical systems may have narrow maintenance windows, some medical devices cannot run conventional agents, and access to sensitive systems and data must be carefully controlled. A general-purpose endpoint platform is not automatically a medical-device-management solution.
The company has also cited FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and Texas-RAMP authorizations as part of its public-sector opportunity. Such authorizations can reduce procurement barriers, but they do not mean every product, hosting environment, configuration, or customer workflow is covered. Government and regulated buyers should verify the exact authorized service, scope, and customer responsibilities before relying on an authorization for a compliance decision.
What the June 2026 valuation means
On June 9, 2026, NinjaOne announced a $12.3 billion valuation following more than $400 million in Series C extensions. It also said its first quarter was record-breaking and profitable. The company’s announcement does not provide a detailed income statement in the cited material, so the profitability statement should be read as the company’s account of a quarter—not evidence of sustained annual profitability.
A valuation reflects what investors agreed to in a financing transaction; it is not revenue, cash raised for operating expenses, or a verdict on whether the business is worth that amount under every future scenario. The announcement describes Series C extensions, but does not establish that the entire amount represents new primary capital available to fund operations. The valuation adds context to NinjaOne’s scale and investor backing, but it cannot substitute for metrics such as retention, margins, and cash flow.
What could slow the growth
- Retention and growth quality: New customers can drive rapid expansion, but without net and gross retention figures it is difficult to tell how much growth comes from existing customers buying more, and how much is offset by churn.
- Integration and product depth: Adding modules and acquisitions can broaden the offer, but customers will care whether workflows, support, and administration feel connected—and whether each module can replace a specialist product.
- Enterprise and regulated-market demands: Larger contracts can bring more revenue opportunity, but often require longer sales cycles, stronger support, deeper integrations, and precise compliance scoping.
- Security and reliability: As more operations move into one platform, uptime, identity controls, audit logs, and recovery from an account compromise become more consequential.
- Competitive pressure and economics: RMM and endpoint management are competitive markets. Moving upmarket while sustaining fast growth may require more sales and support resources, and the disclosed figures do not show sales efficiency or durable operating leverage.
NinjaOne has not publicly disclosed enough in the cited sources to resolve all of these questions. Its reported first-quarter profitability is encouraging as a company claim, but one quarter does not establish a lasting margin profile.

How buyers should evaluate NinjaOne
For an MSP or internal IT team, the decision is less about the company’s growth rate than whether the platform fits the fleet, workflows, and risk tolerance. Start by documenting:
- Endpoint counts and types, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android devices, plus servers and remote workers.
- Which functions are actually needed: RMM, patching, MDM, remote access, backup, SaaS protection, ticketing, documentation, PSA, or billing.
- Existing ITSM, PSA, identity, security, backup, and device-management tools—and the integrations that must continue to work.
- Compliance requirements, data-residency needs, and the specific product instance and authorization scope that apply.
- Migration labor, training, ongoing administration, support escalation, and the ability to export data or recover if the migration fails.
NinjaOne’s pricing page shows an indicative range of $1.50 per endpoint per month at 10,000 endpoints to $3.75 at 50 or fewer, as observed on the page in August 2026. Treat that as a displayed pricing signal, not a universal quote: NinjaOne says final pricing depends on endpoint volume, product mix, region, and other factors, and its FAQ directs buyers to request a personalized quote. Confirm whether the offer is for a commercial or government instance; which modules are included; whether inactive devices are billable; any minimum commitment; renewal terms; and the support level. Ask about annual-discount trade-offs and partner or legacy pricing where relevant. The page advertises a 14-day free trial, but a trial’s scope may not match a negotiated production deployment.
Compare total cost, not just the per-device line: include backup storage and retention, security add-ons, any PSA or ticketing costs that remain, migration and training, internal administration, and the cost of keeping specialist tools alongside the platform. For a fair comparison, ask vendors to quote the same endpoint count, module bundle, contract length, storage requirement, and support tier.
Run a proof of concept that tests failure, not just setup
- Use representative devices: Include the operating systems, servers, remote users, and network conditions that matter in production.
- Test patch controls: Build staged rings, defer or exclude sensitive systems, inspect approval and audit workflows, and verify rollback after a deliberately controlled failure.
- Prove backup recovery: Restore representative files and systems, measure the process against recovery needs, and confirm retention and access controls.
- Exercise remote access: Test real support scenarios, firewall requirements, and user-session behavior—not only unattended maintenance access.
- Validate integrations: Check the required Intune, ServiceNow, PSA, identity, and security workflows end to end, including error handling.
- Plan an exit: Establish what data and configuration can be exported, how long migration out would take, and which workflows would need rebuilding.
NinjaOne Remote documentation describes a simplified remote environment that is not intended for every end-user application. It may not support applications dependent on the user session, profile-bound tokens, GPU rendering, or interactive graphics. The documentation says it primarily uses outbound TCP 443, with TCP 7075 as a fallback. Teams that rely on graphics-heavy workstations or full interactive desktop behavior should test those cases and firewall rules before treating it as a replacement for their current remote-control tool. See the NinjaOne Remote documentation.

NinjaOne is not the only way to consolidate IT work. Atera may be worth evaluating for smaller teams interested in technician-based economics and an integrated service-management approach; it has separate subscription paths for MSPs and IT departments. Its official subscription information also describes 2026 pricing alignment for some legacy accounts. ManageEngine MSP Central is another candidate for MSPs seeking service desk, endpoint operations, network monitoring, server hardening, and security functions in a broader ecosystem. Its product page and pricing page describe a component-based approach. That breadth may suit organizations comfortable with more configuration; smaller teams seeking a narrowly focused, quick-to-deploy RMM may prefer a simpler evaluation.
Depending on existing tools and service workflows, buyers may also compare Datto RMM, ConnectWise RMM, N-able, Syncro, SuperOps, or Kaseya. Compare their actual feature coverage, integration requirements, contract terms, and pricing for your deployment rather than assuming a category-wide winner.
What NinjaOne’s growth means for 2026
NinjaOne has presented a coherent growth plan: broaden the platform, use AI as a product and operational lever, and pursue enterprise, healthcare, and public-sector customers. Its FY2025 ARR, reported customer expansion, later valuation announcement, and healthcare figures all indicate momentum by the company’s account. But they do not disclose enough to judge retention, organic versus acquired growth, module adoption, or sustained profitability.
For IT leaders and MSPs, the strongest reason to evaluate NinjaOne is a real need to reduce fragmented endpoint operations—not the headline valuation. A measured pilot can establish whether the suite replaces tools without sacrificing specialist capability, whether integrations and controls hold up under real conditions, and whether the total cost works at renewal as well as at initial purchase.
