Motorola’s 1TB Razr Ultra 2025 was reported at $799.99 on February 3, 2026, down $700 from its reported $1,499.99 price, with a free pair of Moto Buds Plus. That made the bundle unusually compelling for shoppers who wanted a high-end flip phone and 1TB of storage. But the promotion is historical, not confirmed current: Motorola’s product page lists the 1TB model, but the available information does not verify the sale price or earbuds bundle today.
The deal, in numbers
Android Central reported the promotion on February 3, 2026 as a limited-time winter sale:

The $700 reduction was the actual phone-price difference in the report. Adding the earbuds’ stated $130 value gives an implied promotional value of $830, not $830 in cash savings. That extra value matters only if you would use the earbuds and would otherwise consider buying them.

Why $799.99 changed the value calculation
The Razr Ultra’s original reported price put it firmly in premium-phone territory. At $799.99, it combined a foldable design, flagship-class processor and 1TB of built-in storage at a much lower price than its reported launch-level price. Android Central also noted at the time that the discounted Ultra was only $100 above the reported $699.99 starting price of the base Razr 2025, though that is historical price context, not a current comparison.
The key is that the offer was not simply “a lot of storage for less.” You were paying for a particular set of trade-offs: a pocketable flip phone with a large inner screen and usable outer screen, rather than a conventional slab phone. The storage and processor may be attractive, but they do not automatically make the Ultra a better purchase for someone who values camera performance, repairability or long software support more than the foldable form factor.

What the 1TB Razr Ultra includes
Motorola’s product information lists the U.S. 1TB Razr Ultra 2025 with:
- Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM.
- 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, useful for large game libraries, downloaded media and video collections without frequent storage cleanup.
- Two displays: a 7-inch internal screen and a 4-inch cover screen, each with a refresh rate up to 165Hz. Motorola claims up to 4,500 nits peak brightness for the main display.
- 4,700mAh battery, 68W wired charging support and 30W wireless charging support.
- Dual rear cameras: a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide/macro camera.
- IP48 rating and a listed weight of 199g.
- Android 15 listed as the operating system on Motorola’s product page.
These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not a guarantee of real-world battery life or a claim that its cameras outperform current iPhone, Pixel or Galaxy flagships. IP48 is a protection rating, not a promise that the phone is waterproof or immune to damage.

The 1TB variant is identified as a Motorola.com-only configuration. A retailer’s 512GB Razr Ultra listing is therefore not the same deal or configuration.
The costs and risks to weigh
- The charger is not included. Motorola says the charger is sold separately, despite the phone supporting up to 68W wired charging. If you do not already have a suitable charger, factor that into the purchase cost.
- Foldables need more care. The inner display and hinge introduce different damage and repair considerations than a conventional phone. Motorola says its standard warranty generally does not cover physical or liquid damage. The product information describes one free liner replacement through uBreakiFix if needed, but that should not be confused with broad accidental-damage coverage.
- Battery life is not settled by capacity alone. The 4,700mAh figure is substantial for a flip phone, but it does not establish how long the phone will last in your own use. Do not assume a particular all-day result without a relevant test.
- Software support needs its own check. Motorola lists Android 15, but the available information here does not establish a complete current commitment for Android-version upgrades or security updates. If you plan to keep a phone for years, verify the applicable support terms before buying.
- Camera capability is not the same as camera leadership. The two 50MP rear cameras offer flexibility, but megapixel counts alone cannot show how they compare with the latest camera-focused phones.
- The earbud value may be theoretical for you. Treat the reported $130 as a stated value, not money in your pocket. The bundle is a better perk if you need wireless earbuds than if you already own a pair you like.
Motorola’s Razr Ultra 2025 support page is the place to review warranty and repair information. Motorola’s promotional-item warranty policy says free or discounted Motorola products receive a standard one-year manufacturer warranty, subject to proof of purchase.

Who would have benefited most
The reported price made the most sense for someone who specifically wanted a flip-style foldable, would use the large cover screen, and could take advantage of the Ultra’s performance and 1TB capacity. It was especially attractive if the buyer had a large offline media or gaming library and would genuinely use the bundled earbuds.
It was less compelling for a camera-first buyer, someone who prioritizes conventional-screen durability, or anyone who needs a clearly documented long software-support commitment before choosing a phone. If you do not need 1TB, do not count unused capacity as savings. A conventional flagship may be a better fit if you care more about repair risk, camera comparisons, or support terms than folding the phone shut.

If the promotion appears again, verify the cart
Before paying, confirm all of the following on Motorola.com:
- The listing is for Razr Ultra 2025, not the Razr Plus or base Razr.
- The selected configuration explicitly says 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
- The phone price is actually $799.99 before tax, and the offer does not depend on a trade-in, carrier activation, financing arrangement or coupon omitted from the headline.
- Moto Buds Plus appears in the cart at $0 or the promotion terms clearly confirm they will be included. Do not assume the earbuds will ship if they are absent.
- The offer applies to the color you want and the expected delivery date and return terms work for you.
If the promotion is advertised but the earbuds are missing, check whether you must add them manually, confirm that the selected model and color qualify, and contact Motorola before completing the order. Save the cart terms, order confirmation and invoice for your records.
For direct purchases, Motorola’s terms of sale say device returns are generally available within 14 days of delivery; California residents generally have 30 days. Retailer policies can differ. Motorola also says a discounted purchase is refunded at its discounted purchase price, not its original MSRP.
