Tablet listings in Pakistan currently range from about Rs. 12,999 for a basic Alcatel Joy Tab 9029G Wi-Fi to more than Rs. 400,000 for a high-end iPad Pro. Those are observed listing prices, not official rates or guaranteed nationwide prices. The right comparison is the exact model and storage, Wi-Fi or cellular version, warranty provider, seller and final payable price.
The retailer and database snapshots below were supplied with an August 2026 research date; prices and stock can change. Treat them as a recent guide, confirm the live listing before buying, and do not assume an imported or database-listed model is locally stocked or covered by a Pakistan manufacturer warranty.
Tablet prices in Pakistan at a glance
For many buyers, the most useful shopping range is Rs. 60,000–120,000: listings in this band include mainstream Android tablets and some more capable study and productivity models. Below Rs. 30,000, expect a device mainly for basic browsing, reading and video. Above Rs. 200,000, you are generally considering premium iPads or flagship Samsung tablets, where accessories, warranty and repair costs matter as much as the headline price.

Which tablet makes sense for your budget?
Under Rs. 30,000: basic use only
The Alcatel Joy Tab 9029G listing is the lowest observed price in the supplied snapshot, while the Itel Vista Tab 10 Mini is listed at Rs. 23,199. These prices make them candidates for video, reading and light browsing—not evidence that they are suitable for heavy multitasking, modern games or years of demanding use. Before paying, establish the Android version, memory and storage, whether Google Play works, warranty provider and return terms. A very low price can also mean old stock or a parallel import.
Rs. 30,000–60,000: entry-level study and media
The Galaxy Tab A11 Wi-Fi listing at Rs. 35,999 is a straightforward option to investigate if you want a familiar Android ecosystem. Tecno Megapad and Infinix Xpad listings are around Rs. 42,699 and Rs. 47,319. TechJuice lists both with MediaTek Cortex-A55-class specifications, positioning them for ordinary use rather than demanding gaming. Huawei MatePad SE 11 is listed at Rs. 55,999 and is described with a Snapdragon 685; however, hardware alone does not settle whether it suits your app needs. Check Google services and specific school, banking, meeting and streaming apps before buying.
Rs. 60,000–120,000: compare closely for the best fit
This is the broadest useful range for students, households and general users. The Redmi Pad 2 Wi-Fi at Rs. 66,999 and its 8/256 4G listing at Rs. 72,999 illustrate how connectivity and configuration change the price. Samsung Galaxy A11 Plus Wi-Fi is listed at Rs. 65,799. For note-taking, a larger screen or a higher price is not enough: confirm active stylus support, palm rejection, whether the pen is included, and the cost of a compatible pen. For games or creative apps, favour a stronger processor and adequate storage over a large RAM number alone.
Rs. 120,000–200,000: productivity and higher performance
The iPad 11 with A16 is listed at Rs. 125,499. Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is listed at Rs. 156,999, and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ at Rs. 144,999 in one catalogue and Rs. 169,947 in another. TechJuice describes the FE+ as having a 13.1-inch IPS LCD and Exynos 1580; the smaller S10 FE is listed with a 10.9-inch IPS LCD and the same processor family. These details can help frame the choice, but check the exact Pakistan-market model and bundle. At this spend, include the keyboard, stylus, case and warranty in your budget.
Above Rs. 200,000: buy for a specific premium need
Premium iPad Air, iPad Pro and Samsung Ultra models may suit buyers who need high performance, a large display or a particular ecosystem. PriceOye lists iPad Air M4 models from Rs. 244,999 and iPad Pro M5 models from Rs. 354,999; the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra appears at Rs. 319,999. Choose by what you need the tablet to do
- Online classes and PDFs: Look for a readable screen, reliable video-call apps, sufficient storage and a clear warranty. A mid-range device is usually a safer long-term study purchase than the cheapest listing. Test the actual classroom apps, especially on Huawei.
- Handwritten notes and PDF annotation: Confirm that the model supports an active pen with palm rejection; determine whether the pen is bundled or separately sold. A generic capacitive stylus is not equivalent to an active note-taking pen.
- Netflix and YouTube: Screen size, brightness, speakers, aspect ratio, Wi-Fi reliability and streaming-app/DRM compatibility matter. Do not infer streaming quality solely from resolution or a brand name.
- Gaming: Processor and graphics capability, sustained cooling, screen refresh rate, storage and game compatibility matter more than a headline RAM figure alone. TechJuice places Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-class devices such as the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro above basic Cortex-A55-class tablets for demanding workloads. No supplied evidence establishes reliable frame rates for a specific game, so do not buy on an assumed FPS promise.
- Office work: Check keyboard availability and layout, external-display and peripheral compatibility, file handling, video-meeting support and the apps your employer uses. Samsung’s selected productivity tablets offer Android and DeX workflows; an iPad may be a better fit for some tablet-optimised apps but is not a substitute for every desktop workflow.
- Children: Prioritise a durable case, parental controls, safe app access, a return policy and repairability. An inexpensive tablet is only a bargain if it can run the child’s required apps and has a credible support route.
- Mobile data: A cellular tablet can help when Wi-Fi is unreliable, but verify the exact model code, supported bands, SIM function and PTA/IMEI status. Do not assume the word “4G” in a listing means it is ready for Pakistani networks or cleared for use.
iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab?
There is no universal winner. iPads offer Apple’s app ecosystem and strong A-series or M-series performance, but Pencil and keyboard accessories can add materially to the bill. Check the generation: an imported previous-generation iPad and a current model may share similar retail labels while differing in chip, warranty and price. Apple’s iPad product page is useful for identifying current families, but it does not establish a Pakistan retailer’s warranty or availability.

Samsung tablets run Android, and selected models offer DeX productivity features and S Pen support. Whether a pen is included depends on the exact model and local bundle. Samsung’s Pakistan tablet catalogue is the first-party place to check products and support; Samsung also warns that network bands can vary by region or service provider. Confirm the local SKU rather than relying on the family name.
Before choosing, list the apps and peripherals you actually use. Consider file transfer, keyboard and monitor needs, app availability, repair access and resale value. Resale and repair costs vary with condition, configuration and seller, so a brand-level assumption is not a reliable substitute for a quote.
Wi-Fi or LTE/4G: check the exact device
Wi-Fi-only models generally cost less and suit homes, campuses and offices with reliable wireless internet. A cellular model adds a SIM and mobile-data option, useful for travel or weak Wi-Fi coverage, but it may cost more and require a data plan. Cellular tablets are not automatically voice phones.
Before buying a cellular model, ask for its complete model number and region, confirm supported local bands with the seller or manufacturer, and check the IMEI/PTA status for that exact unit. PTA status is not determined just by a product name, and network compatibility can vary by region. Samsung’s Pakistan product catalogue specifically notes regional or provider variation in network bands. Get the status and return terms in writing.

What to check before you pay
- Match the exact configuration. Record model code, generation, screen size, RAM, storage, Wi-Fi or cellular and colour if relevant. Names such as “iPad 11,” “S10 FE” and “A11 Plus” are not enough to establish a match.
- Set a storage floor. 64GB can become cramped once the system, apps and downloads take space. 128GB is a safer general-use target; 256GB is preferable for large games, offline video or creative files. A microSD slot, where present, may not let every app or game move fully to the card.
- Consider RAM with the processor. More RAM can help with multitasking, but it cannot turn a weak processor into a high-performance one. Do not compare Android and iPad RAM figures as though they predict identical performance.
- Inspect the screen for your use. Compare size, resolution, LCD versus OLED/AMOLED, brightness and refresh rate. For outdoor use, brightness matters; for handwriting, confirm the digitiser and palm rejection. Do not treat screen size alone as proof of quality.
- Price the complete setup. Add the compatible active pen, keyboard case, protective cover, screen protector, charger and delivery or import charges where applicable. Confirm whether accessories are in the box rather than assuming they are.
- Identify the warranty in writing. Distinguish manufacturer warranty in Pakistan from distributor, seller, international or no warranty. Ask who handles a fault, for how long, and at which service address. A low price can reflect parallel-import stock, not a normal discount.
- Check condition and returns. Ask whether the box is sealed, whether the unit has been activated, whether it is new, open-box, refurbished or used, and what the dead-on-arrival return window is. Keep the invoice and the seller’s written policy.
- Compare final payable prices. A crossed-out “original” price does not establish an official MSRP. Compare current checkout cost for the same configuration and warranty, not a promotional headline against a different SKU.
Buying imported or used tablets safely
An imported tablet may be genuine while still lacking local manufacturer support, compatible network bands, easy replacement parts or a practical return route. Ask for the seller’s invoice, warranty provider and service address, region/model code, activation status and return window. For cellular versions, confirm IMEI and PTA status before accepting the device.
For a used or refurbished iPad, check Activation Lock is removed and the device can be set up with your account; inspect the display and touch response, charging port, cameras and buttons; verify actual storage and serial/model details; and request battery-health information where the device exposes it. Check whether it has been repaired or refurbished and whether parts warnings appear. For a cellular model, verify IMEI/PTA status. Do not pay a new-stock price for a used, open-box or refurbished unit without a clearly stated condition and return policy.
Why tablet prices differ between listings
- Configuration: Storage, RAM, screen size and Wi-Fi versus LTE change the product and price.
- Warranty and import route: Officially distributed stock and parallel imports can carry different support and service terms.
- Seller and promotion: A temporary discount, seller-specific offer or stale listing can widen the gap.
- Currency, taxes and shipping: Imported products may be affected by exchange rates and landed costs. Mobile57 explicitly warns that some of its latest-launch figures are based on international offers and may exclude shipping and taxes.
- Database errors: Aggregated specification and price pages can be stale or inconsistent. TechJuice’s supplied listing for the Tab S10 Ultra includes unusual processor wording and a price far below other premium listings; treat that entry as unverified rather than a reliable quote.
For a live quote, verify the exact item directly with the seller and retain the product page or written confirmation. A catalogue saying a model is available does not guarantee that a shop has it in stock today.

Is Rs. 60,000–120,000 a good tablet budget?
