Koofr’s 1TB lifetime cloud-storage offer was advertised at $129.99 on November 28, 2025, with code KOOFR. That was a compelling one-time price, but the evidence does not prove it was Koofr’s all-time lowest price. A December 2024 listing reported $110, while other 2025 deal coverage cited prices around $119.97.
The Black Friday 2025 promotion has expired. A Koofr 1TB lifetime listing continued to appear through StackSocial in 2026, but buyers should confirm the live checkout price, taxes, redemption rules and included features before paying.

BleepingComputer described $129.99 as the lowest price it had seen. That is narrower—and more defensible—than claiming a verified all-time low across every Koofr promotion. The advertised $810 MSRP should also be treated as promotional comparison pricing, not as a direct equivalent to Koofr’s current public annual price.

Was $129.99 really Koofr’s all-time low?
Not based on the available evidence.
- $129.99: The Black Friday 2025 price reported by BleepingComputer.
- $110: Digital Trends reported this price for the same 1TB lifetime product in December 2024. Because that page could not be independently opened, the figure should be treated as an attributed report rather than a fully verified price record.
- About $119.97: Other 2025 and later deal coverage cited prices below $129.99, including a June 2026 TechRadar listing.
The accurate conclusion is that $129.99 was one of the lowest reported prices and possibly the lowest price in BleepingComputer’s own tracking. It is not supportable as a universal, all-time record without a complete historical price archive.
Digital Trends’ reported December 2024 price and TechRadar’s later deal coverage are why the stronger headline needs qualification.
This was not Koofr’s official Black Friday lifetime sale
Koofr’s own Black Friday promotion was a separate offer. It provided 55% off annual plans of 100GB or more from November 17 through December 1, 2025, using code BF2025.
Existing paying customers were directed toward discounted gift cards. Koofr’s official promotion did not describe a 1TB lifetime subscription. The $129.99 offer was a third-party reseller promotion that happened during the Black Friday shopping period.
That distinction matters: BF2025 and KOOFR were not interchangeable codes, and the benefits and terms of a reseller lifetime tier may differ from Koofr’s current direct 1TB plan.

What Koofr’s direct 1TB plan includes
Koofr’s public pricing page currently displays a 1TB plan at €10 per month, with annual subscriptions currently required. The displayed prices include 22% VAT on the page, although a buyer’s final tax treatment can vary by country.

The direct 1TB plan lists features including:
- Unlimited file size
- Automatic mobile-media backup
- Two-way synchronization and file versioning
- Five Koofr Vault Safe Boxes
- Up to 18 external cloud connections
- Web, desktop and mobile access
- WebDAV and related desktop integration
- A 1TB daily public-sharing transfer limit
- Microsoft Office for the web
- PDF, duplicate-file, space-usage and empty-folder tools
Koofr also supports connections to Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive, as well as rclone. However, do not assume that a StackSocial lifetime code includes every feature listed on the current direct 1TB plan. Confirm the exact reseller terms before purchase.
Check Koofr’s current direct pricing and feature list and review its platform and integration features.
What “lifetime” really means
A lifetime subscription generally means access for the life of the product offering or the provider’s operation. It does not guarantee that the service will exist forever, that features cannot change or that the purchaser can use the account for their own physical lifetime regardless of the terms.

The main risks are:
- Koofr or the reseller could change the applicable terms.
- The service could be discontinued or materially altered.
- Future features and upgrades may not be included.
- Reseller redemption requirements may apply.
- The account may not be transferable.
A lifetime deal removes recurring storage payments, but it does not remove provider-continuity risk. Keep an independent copy of important files.

Important account restriction: promotional accounts may not be transferable
Koofr’s help documentation says promotional lifetime accounts cannot have their email address changed and cannot be transferred after the lifetime code has been applied.
Use a permanent personal email address—not a work, school or temporary address—and verify the account before redeeming the code. This restriction can affect gifting, resale, account consolidation and future handoff to family members.
Review Koofr’s web-app help documentation before redeeming a promotional code.
Privacy and security: useful protections, but not automatic zero-knowledge storage
Koofr says transfers use SSL/TLS encryption, stored files receive server-side encryption, and files are maintained in at least three physically separate locations. Its servers are located in ISO 27001-certified data centers.

Koofr Vault supports client-side encryption. That is different from saying the entire ordinary 1TB account is end-to-end or zero-knowledge encrypted by default:
- Encrypted transport protects data while it moves between your device and Koofr.
- Server-side encryption protects stored data on the provider’s systems, but the provider may still manage the encryption keys.
- Client-side encryption encrypts data in a way intended to limit provider access, depending on the workflow and configuration.
Redundancy across Koofr’s infrastructure also is not an independent backup. A software error, compromised account, unwanted synchronization or account problem can still affect cloud copies.
Can the plan be upgraded or stacked?
Koofr’s standard plans can be upgraded, and annual gift-card codes can be stacked to extend plan duration. That does not establish that promotional lifetime purchases can be stacked to add capacity.
Do not assume that buying a second lifetime code will add another terabyte. Check the exact StackSocial and Koofr terms before purchasing a second plan; it could have different upgrade, replacement or account-eligibility rules.
Is Koofr a backup service?
Koofr can support backup workflows, including automatic mobile-media backup and synchronized local folders, but cloud storage, synchronization and backup are not identical.

Synchronization can propagate deletions or unwanted changes. For irreplaceable documents, photos and videos, retain at least one independent local or offline copy. For highly sensitive material, consider encrypting files before upload or using an appropriate client-side-encrypted workflow.
Large initial uploads may also take substantial time because practical throughput depends on your upstream connection, device and service conditions.
Koofr versus other lifetime-storage options

Who should consider the Koofr deal?
The offer is a reasonable fit for someone who wants about 1TB of personal storage, dislikes recurring bills, needs desktop or mobile access, and values WebDAV or connections to other cloud services. It is more attractive when the live price is at or below the historical $129.99 level.
It is a poor fit for anyone who needs:
- More than 1TB in the near future
- A fully transferable account
- Enterprise retention, administration or service-level agreements
- Full-account zero-knowledge encryption by default
- A provider-independent backup solution
- Complete certainty that the reseller plan will receive every future direct-plan feature
How to check a live listing safely
- Open the current StackSocial listing rather than relying on a dated Black Friday article.
- Confirm the product says 1TB lifetime, not an annual plan or a different capacity.
- Check the final currency, tax and total at checkout.
- Read the redemption deadline and account-eligibility requirements.
- Confirm included features, transfer restrictions and upgrade terms.
- Redeem only on the permanent Koofr account you intend to keep.
- Maintain a separate local or offline backup after uploading files.
Koofr’s normal web-app path for eligible account upgrades is Account menu → Upgrade account → choose a plan → enter billing details → Discount code → Apply. Do not assume this annual-plan process is the exact redemption route for a StackSocial lifetime code; follow the reseller’s current instructions.
Check StackSocial’s current backup-storage listings and verify the checkout page before treating the deal as available.
The Bottom Line
Verdict: Koofr’s $129.99 1TB lifetime offer was a strong historical deal, but “all-time low” was not proven and the Black Friday 2025 promotion is no longer current. Buy only if the live listing is still attractively priced, the feature set meets your needs and you accept the non-transferable promotional account and provider-continuity risks. It should complement—not replace—an independent backup.
