Uniblue appears to have stopped operating as a customer-facing software business, but a formal closure or dissolution has not been verified. Its former website, uniblue.com, currently shows a generic page saying the domain may be for sale rather than company, product, or support information. That is strong evidence the public-facing operation is gone; it does not establish when the business stopped, whether its legal entity was dissolved, or what happened to customers’ licenses and payments.
What Uniblue was
Uniblue sold Windows utilities including RegistryBooster, SpeedUpMyPC, DriverScanner, and SystemTweaker. Archived product documentation identifies Uniblue as the maker of SystemTweaker and describes tools for changing system settings; that 2010 manual lists Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 compatibility. It is historical documentation, not evidence that the products are maintained, safe to use, or compatible with current Windows versions. See the SystemTweaker manual.
What the inactive website does—and does not—prove
A parked domain is different from a temporary website outage: the current Uniblue domain presents domain-sale language instead of the company’s former software and support pages. This supports the conclusion that Uniblue’s public web operation is no longer functioning under that brand. It does not, by itself, prove that Uniblue Systems Ltd. was formally dissolved, liquidated, or acquired.

No verified official shutdown announcement or precise closure date is available in the evidence cited here. The date the domain is observed in a parked state is not necessarily the date the company stopped trading. There is also no verified information about a successor company, acquisition of the software or customer records, activation servers, refunds, or continuing billing. It is therefore more accurate to call Uniblue apparently inactive or defunct as a customer-facing vendor than to state that a particular legal entity was formally wound up.

What former customers should do
If Uniblue software is still installed
- Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps in Windows and search for Uniblue, RegistryBooster, SpeedUpMyPC, DriverScanner, and SystemTweaker.
- Use Windows’ normal uninstall option for each program, then restart the computer.
- Check your browsers for unfamiliar extensions, search providers, or homepage changes.
- Run a full scan using a currently supported security product. Windows Security is a sensible built-in starting point on supported Windows versions; it is not a specialized uninstall tool.
Historical Microsoft Q&A posts describe users struggling to remove Uniblue products, but those reports date from around 2011 and are not current official removal instructions. Read the historical discussion. If Windows’ uninstall process fails, avoid deleting random registry entries or system files based on old forum advice. A reputable current uninstaller may be an optional next step, but it is not evidence that the software is malware.
Do not assume that an old utility is safe just because it still opens. Unsupported software may no longer receive fixes, and tools that modify the registry or install drivers can make system changes that are difficult to reverse. Avoid downloading installers from “old version” or mirror sites unless you can independently verify the source and file integrity. The available evidence does not establish that every Uniblue product is malicious; the practical issue is that its current support and update status cannot be verified.

If you paid for a license or see a charge
A program may remain installed after its vendor’s website disappears, but license validation or activation can depend on servers that may no longer be available. The present evidence does not confirm that Uniblue licenses still activate, that they have been invalidated, or that billing has stopped.

Review the original order confirmation and payment account. If you see a recurring charge, check the merchant and cancellation controls in the original payment provider, card account, or PayPal account; contact the provider if you cannot identify or stop it. Keep invoices and records of cancellation requests. Whether a refund is available depends on the seller, payment method, jurisdiction, and age of the transaction, so no refund can be promised here.

If an installed optimizer displays urgent warnings about a damaged PC, registry, or driver and asks for payment, do not treat the alert alone as proof that your computer needs repair. Registry cleaners are not a substitute for Windows maintenance or malware protection, and an old driver updater can recommend unnecessary or incorrect drivers. Use supported Windows tools and trusted security guidance instead.
