In the Chase Mobile app, sign in and tap Profile & Settings > Statements & documents under Document manager > Statements. Choose the account, year, and statement you need; it opens as a PDF that you can save, share, or print using your device’s controls. Menu labels can vary slightly by app version.
Get a Chase statement in the mobile app
- Open the Chase Mobile app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile & Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
- Under Document manager, tap Statements & documents.
- Tap Statements.
- Select the account you need.
- Choose the year, then select the statement period.
- Open the PDF and use your phone’s controls to save, share, download, or print it.
Chase’s current instructions describe this route for personal accounts. If the labels differ, look for Statements, Statements & documents, or Document manager.
Save, share, or print the PDF
The controls after the PDF opens depend on your phone and PDF viewer; there is not necessarily a universal Chase “Download” button.

- iPhone or iPad: Tap the Share icon to save the PDF to Files, send it through a suitable app, or print it.
- Android: Use the viewer’s download or share control. A downloaded file is commonly available in Downloads or your Files app.
- Print: Choose Print from the phone’s share or PDF menu, or save the file and print it from a computer.
These are device-level options rather than Chase-specific buttons. If the PDF will not save on your phone, try signing in at Chase.com on a computer and saving it there.

Get the statement from Chase.com
- Sign in at Chase.com.
- Open the main menu and select Statements & documents.
- Choose the account and year, then open the statement you need.
- Save or print the PDF using your browser or computer’s controls.
The website can be more convenient if you need to review several accounts or years, organize multiple files, or print a statement. Chase lists both mobile and online access in its paperless statements instructions.
What if the statement is missing?
- The latest month is not listed: A PDF is generally available after the statement period ends and the statement is generated. Transactions may already appear in account activity while that period is still open; that activity list is not necessarily a finalized statement.
- You cannot find an older one: Check that you selected Statements, the right account, and the right year. Chase says availability can extend to up to seven years, depending on account type; that is not a guarantee for every account or document.
- The account is not listed: Make sure you are signed in to the Chase profile linked to it and check whether you are in the right document category. Newly opened, closed, or specialized accounts may not follow the same workflow, and a temporary app issue is also possible. Try Chase.com and update or reopen the app.
- The PDF opens but will not save: Try a different share, download, or print option in the viewer, check device storage, or use Chase.com on a computer.
- The account is closed or the document remains unavailable: Contact Chase through a secure channel or call the number on the back of your card to ask about historical-document access. Online availability is not guaranteed for every account.
Do not send your password or sign-in codes in response to a message claiming it can retrieve a statement for you.

A statement is not the same as transaction history
A formal statement is a periodic account document for a defined period. It commonly shows beginning and ending balances, completed transactions, and applicable fees or interest, along with account-identification information. A recent-activity screen is a live or rolling transaction list and may not include the full period or statement details. A screenshot of activity may not meet its requirements. If the request is actually for proof of account ownership, ask whether it wants a statement, an account-verification letter, a direct-deposit form, or a voided check.

Which kind of Chase account do you have?
Checking, savings, or credit card
The personal-app steps above are the starting point for personal checking and savings statements. A Chase credit-card statement may be available through the same general statement area, but its contents differ: it typically covers purchases, payments, credits, balance, minimum payment, due date, and interest rather than deposits and withdrawals. Chase also describes paperless credit-card statements through its credit-card statement guidance.
Chase Auto
For an auto-loan or lease statement, the personal banking app path may not match. Chase Auto directs customers to sign in at Chase.com, select the auto account, and choose Statements to view current and past statements. See Chase Auto’s statements and documents instructions.

Business or commercial account
Business and commercial accounts can use different dashboards and menus. Chase Connect guides describe accessing statements from the account dashboard or an options menu, then selecting an account and statement type. See Chase’s account activity guide and statements and images guide.

Viewing statements versus switching to paperless
Finding an existing statement and enrolling in paperless delivery are separate tasks. If you want to change delivery preferences, Chase lists the app path as Profile & Settings > Settings > Account settings > Paperless. Changing preferences may take about a month to stop mailed statements, according to Chase, so do not assume the next paper statement will be canceled immediately.

Protect your statement before sharing it
A statement contains sensitive financial and personal information. Send it only to a recipient you trust and through the organization’s approved secure upload or delivery method when available. Share only what is required, store the PDF somewhere private, and sign out if you accessed Chase on a shared device. Chase offers additional account-security guidance.
Before you submit the file, confirm that it is for the correct account and period, that it is the PDF rather than an activity screenshot, and that the receiving organization accepts that document type.
