Clone only a voice you own or have explicit permission to use, and make sure that permission covers model creation and the way you plan to distribute the recording. Check the platform’s current voice license and commercial-use terms, especially where a tool uses licensed voice models. For releases, Spotify’s September 2025 policy said vocal impersonation is allowed only when the impersonated artist has authorized it, and described support for DDEX AI disclosures in credits.
