Prepare The Song Before Uploading
Start with an audio file you have permission to use. A clear source makes it easier to judge whether the new arrangement preserves the melody and vocal performance you care about. Before generating, write down what must remain and what should change.
- Keep: identify the main melody, lyrics, vocal character, or recognizable hook you want preserved.
- Change: choose a target genre and note the rhythm, instrumentation, energy, and arrangement qualities you want to hear.
- Decide on vocals: specify whether you want the original vocal retained, removed, or treated differently, where the tool offers that control.
For example, a useful brief is: “Move this song toward [target genre]. Change The Genre Step By Step
- Upload the source track. Open the remixer and select the song file. If you do not have permission to use the recording or its vocals, do not upload it.
- Select the target genre. Choose a genre or sub-genre that the tool offers. If your exact style is absent, check whether it accepts a written style description; do not assume it supports every genre.

- Shape the arrangement. Where available, set tempo, key, or energy to suit the new style. Use Stems For More Control
If a whole-track remix changes too much, split the song into parts such as vocals, drums, bass, and instruments, then work on the elements that need changing. A practical stem-based brief is to keep the lead vocal and melody, then reshape the backing rhythm and instrumentation toward the target style. If a tool does not let you independently preserve or edit those parts, use its whole-track controls or choose another supported workflow.
