SpaceX’s IPO is complete, so investors can no longer buy into the offering itself. SpaceX identified its stock ticker as SPCX; buying shares now would mean placing an order through a brokerage that supports the listing and is available in your jurisdiction. The company’s SEC-filed prospectus does not promise an 8.9% dividend: future dividends are at the board’s discretion.
Can I still buy into the SpaceX IPO?
No. SpaceX completed its IPO on June 15, 2026. Its SEC filing records the sale of 638,888,888 Class A shares at $135 per share, including the full exercise of underwriters’ over-allotment option. That offering price applied to the IPO, not necessarily to shares bought afterward. SpaceX’s SEC filing on the completed offering
The company initially announced 555,555,555 shares at $135 each. The completed SEC filing’s higher total includes the over-allotment exercise, so use that final figure when describing the offering. SpaceX Investor Relations pricing announcement · SEC filing

How do I buy SpaceX stock now?
After an IPO, buying shares generally means purchasing them through a brokerage account rather than applying for IPO shares. SpaceX identified SPCX as its ticker and said shares were expected to trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market and Nasdaq Texas. That announcement described expected trading at the time; check the current listing and your broker’s availability before placing an order. SpaceX’s pricing announcement
#1 Best Overall
- Check access: Confirm that a regulated brokerage available where you live supports SPCX and the relevant trading venue. Eligibility, fees and access vary; no specific broker or current jurisdictional availability is established here.
- Confirm what you are buying: Search for SPCX and verify that the order is for SpaceX shares, not an indirect or synthetic product with different risks or terms.
- Review the quote and order details: The IPO’s $135 price is historical, not a current quote. Check the live price, any trading restrictions, the order type and the fees shown by your broker.
- Place an order only if it suits your plan: Brokerage execution and market prices are not guaranteed at a particular level. Consider your risk tolerance and the possibility that the share price may move sharply.
What about the UK retail offer?
SpaceX’s SEC-filed materials describe a retail offer launched June 4, 2026 through a Marex Financial public offer platform. It was limited to retail investors who were both tax resident and located in the UK and was associated with the IPO period. It is not evidence of an open, ongoing or universal direct-purchase route. Does SpaceX pay an 8.9% dividend?
The cited SEC-filed prospectus does not substantiate an 8.9% dividend or guarantee any payout. SpaceX states that future dividend policy is within the board’s discretion and depends on then-existing conditions, including financial results, capital needs, investment opportunities, legal limits and debt-agreement restrictions. A dividend yield is generally calculated using a dividend amount relative to a share price; it can change as either changes. Because the prospectus does not establish a promised dividend and no current declaration is established here, do not treat 8.9% as an expected or assured return. Check official company disclosures for any declared dividend before making an investment decision.
