Its appeal is straightforward: people can learn business skills without relocating to a campus, following a traditional class schedule or holding a college degree.
But “online university” should not automatically be read as “accredited university.” The available public material describes a private entrepreneurship-training and mentorship business. The reviewed sources do not verify accreditation, recognized academic credits, degree-granting authority, faculty credentials or typical student outcomes.
Who is Sean Frimpong?
Published profiles describe Frimpong as an entrepreneur, investor, author and online-business educator. A 2021 TechTimes profile says he began learning about the stock market and entered entrepreneurship at age 17. A substantially similar LatestLY profile discusses his businesses, investing background and educational mission.

What problem is Prestige University trying to solve?
Frimpong’s stated argument is that traditional education can be expensive, time-consuming and inaccessible to people who want to start businesses. In that model, lacking a college degree should not prevent someone from learning about entrepreneurship, money or online commerce.
That is an alternative-education philosophy, not a claim that formal education has no value. A college education may provide recognized credentials, broad academic study, research training and access to regulated career paths. Frimpong’s approach appears aimed at a different need: practical, flexible instruction for people who want to test or build an online business.
What does “education at any time” mean?
The available descriptions support an online rather than campus-based model, intended to fit around work, family responsibilities or an existing business. The programs are presented as accessible to people with different educational backgrounds, including those without a college degree.
The 2021 coverage also describes entrepreneurial courses, investment and business instruction, and access to mentors who were themselves entrepreneurs. Current commercial pages associated with the brand emphasize online training, coaching, community access, templates and software resources.

However, the public material reviewed does not establish a detailed current course catalog, class schedule, assessment policy, completion requirement, learning-management-system structure or guaranteed level of student support. Flexibility describes when a person can access training; it does not, by itself, establish teaching quality or educational effectiveness.

Who is the model designed for?
The apparent audience includes aspiring entrepreneurs, career changers, people without college degrees, employees seeking a side business, e-commerce beginners and people interested in affiliate or social-media-led commerce.
A TikTok Shop training page positions its material toward beginners without prior experience or advanced technical skills. It also promotes working only a few hours per day, while disclaiming that results are not typical and that success requires effort and involves risk. That distinction matters: beginner-friendly instruction is not the same as a predictable or low-risk income opportunity.
Is Prestige University an accredited university?
The available public evidence does not answer that question affirmatively. The reviewed sources identify Frimpong as connected with Prestige University, but do not verify:
- Accreditation by a recognized accreditor
- State authorization to award academic degrees
- Transferable college credit
- Eligibility for federal student aid
- Recognized degree programs
- A public faculty list with academic credentials
- Graduation, employment or independently audited income outcomes
The most accurate description is that Prestige University appears to be an online education and entrepreneurship venture. The reviewed sources do not verify that it is an accredited institution offering recognized academic degrees.
That does not, by itself, establish that the business is fraudulent. It means readers should distinguish among three different products:

One version of the Creator Network page lists a membership at $97 per month and uses “cancel anytime” language. The page also assigns a combined stated value of $1,973 to components and bonuses. Another version promotes an AI-commerce package with a stated component value of $4,272 but directs visitors to book a call rather than displaying a clearly posted final purchase price.
Those “total value” figures are marketing valuations, not independently established market prices. They should not be treated as savings unless the individual components have genuine standalone prices and useful value to the buyer.

What could the real cost be?
Pricing varies by offer and may change. In addition to the advertised fee, an online business may require spending on software, advertising, inventory, payment processing, design, contractors, subscriptions or platform fees. A low monthly membership can therefore have a much higher total operating cost.
Before paying, confirm:
- Whether the fee is recurring or one-time
- The total price, including installments and taxes
- The refund policy and deadline
- How cancellation works and whether it can be completed online
- Whether software tools have usage limits or separate charges
- Whether coaching is live, recorded, group-based or one-to-one
- Whether access ends immediately after cancellation

The TikTok Shop page itself says its examples are personal or client results, are not typical and are not promises that buyers will duplicate them. Nothing in the reviewed material independently establishes typical student earnings, employment outcomes or financial independence.
A due-diligence checklist
Use the following checklist before enrolling:
- Credential: Do you need a recognized degree, or only practical skills?
- Accreditation: If the provider uses “university,” can it identify a recognized accreditor and authorized degree programs?
- Curriculum: Is there a detailed syllabus with assignments, projects, feedback and assessments?
- Instructors: Are instructors named, experienced in the subject and available to students?
- Outcomes: Are typical results disclosed, rather than only exceptional examples?
- Total cost: Have you included recurring fees, advertising, inventory, software and coaching?
- Contract: Have you read refund, cancellation, renewal and access terms?
- Business model: Does the course teach transferable fundamentals or mainly push one rapidly changing tactic?

For a recognized credential, compare accredited online degrees, community-college certificates and university extension programs. For targeted skills, established course platforms, government small-business resources and nonprofit training may offer alternatives. Their credential recognition, oversight, assessment and pricing will differ, so compare the specific program rather than assuming all online education is equivalent.
What the public record does—and does not—show
A Florida corporate filing lists Sean Frimpong as CEO of MDM Frim Investments Corp., filed February 5, 2025. That supports a corporate role in that entity. It does not establish Prestige University’s accreditation, course quality, student outcomes or degree-granting authority.
Overall, the evidence supports describing Frimpong’s contribution as expanding access to flexible entrepreneurship training and mentorship. It does not support presenting the venture as equivalent to a conventional accredited college or as a guaranteed route to financial independence.
