Taylor Swift Touring reported $2,077,618,725 in final ticket sales for The Eras Tour. That is the best-supported reported total attributed to her touring company and Billboard Boxscore. Pollstar separately estimated the tour at $2.2 billion. Both figures are gross ticket revenue—not profit, Swift’s personal earnings, or total merchandise sales.

Use $2,077,618,725 when the question is asking for the final reported total. Describe $2.2 billion as Pollstar’s estimate, not as a second official figure. The two amounts should not be averaged: they use different sources and methods, and no audited reconciliation between them has been published.
What the reported total covered
The $2,077,618,725 amount is gross ticket revenue. It covers tickets sold for the concerts and excludes merchandise revenue. It does not show how much money remained after expenses.

Attendance and ticket price
- Taylor Swift Touring’s reported count was 10,168,008 tickets.
- Guinness World Records lists an average ticket price of $204.33 alongside that figure.
- Guinness records 149 shows from March 17, 2023, through December 8, 2024, across 51 stadiums in 19 countries and five continents.
Pollstar’s estimate used a different count—10.055 million tickets—which is another reason its estimated average and total cannot be directly substituted for the Touring/Boxoffice figures.

Did The Eras Tour make $2 billion in profit?
No. “Made” in the widely reported totals means ticket-sales gross. The available reporting does not establish the tour’s operating costs, taxes, promoter and venue shares, payroll, production expenses or Swift’s net proceeds. Therefore, profit and personal earnings cannot be calculated from $2,077,618,725 or $2.2 billion alone.
Why gross is different from take-home money
- Ticket revenue is collected across many venues and markets, each with contracts and local costs.
- Large stadium productions require transportation, staging, crew, insurance, security and other operating spending.
- Taxes and business arrangements further separate gross sales from an artist’s personal income.

The Touring/Boxscore figure reflects the company’s reported ticket data. Pollstar combined its box-office reports with additional market research, including ticket prices, venue capacities, premium seats and comparisons with other tours. Those approaches can produce different totals without either number being a profit calculation.
Different ticket counts
The reported Touring figure lists 10,168,008 tickets, while Pollstar’s estimate uses 10.055 million. Keep each count attached to its source rather than treating the difference as an error.
What about merchandise and the concert film?
Merchandise is not included in the reported $2,077,618,725 ticket tally, and the reviewed reporting does not establish final merchandise proceeds.

The Eras Tour concert film is a separate revenue stream. ABC News reported more than $261 million in worldwide box-office receipts in 2024. That cinema revenue should not be added to the tour’s ticket gross when answering how much the concert tour made.
