How Do I Get My Credit Card Number From the Chase App?

Usually, you cannot reliably view the complete 16-digit number of an existing physical Chase credit card in the Chase Mobile app. The app may show the card, last four digits, account information, and management controls, but Chase may mask the full number for security. Chase does not publicly document a universal app path that reveals the complete number for every card and account.

If you need to pay immediately, a digital wallet may let you use the card without knowing its physical number. If you need the actual number for a website, biller, or verification form, check legitimate records or contact Chase through an official channel.

Check the card details available in the Chase app

  1. Sign in to the Chase Mobile app.
  2. Tap the relevant credit-card account.
  3. Review the account overview and card-management options.

You may see the last four digits and other account details. The labels and layout can vary by app version, device, card type, and account profile. Chase says its credit-card number and account number are the same, but that does not mean the full number will be unmasked in the app.

Chase documents a Show details option for some account and routing-number screens. That guidance concerns bank-account information and should not be treated as a guaranteed way to display a full credit-card number. See Chase’s account-and-routing-number instructions.

If you only need to make a purchase

A digital wallet may solve the immediate problem without showing you the physical card number.

  1. Sign in to the Chase Mobile app.
  2. Tap the credit card.
  3. Swipe up to Manage account.
  4. Tap Digital Wallets.
  5. Choose an available wallet, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, and complete the verification prompts.

Chase documents this setup path in its digital-wallet instructions. You can then pay where the merchant accepts that wallet.

Important limitation: A digital wallet generally uses a tokenized device account number rather than the original physical card number. It may show only the last four digits or a different device number. That number cannot be used outside the wallet’s secure payment environment, so a wallet will not necessarily help if a website specifically asks for the original card number, expiration date, and security code. See Chase’s explanation of Apple Pay and device account numbers.

Check statements and other legitimate records

In the Chase app or on Chase.com, look under Statements or Documents for the relevant card. Chase identifies billing statements as a possible place to find card-account information, but online statements may show only the last four digits or otherwise mask the number. A paper statement may contain more identifying information, but do not assume that every statement displays all 16 digits.

The physical card remains the most dependable source of the full number. Do not upload a statement or send a photograph of your card to an untrusted person or website.

Can the Chase Digital Assistant show the number?

The Digital Assistant can help you navigate Chase and manage the account, but it is not a reliable workaround for revealing an unmasked physical-card number.

If the card is permanently lost, damaged, or stolen

Replace it through the app:

  1. Tap More.
  2. Tap Replace cards.
  3. Select the card and the reason.
  4. Tap Replace card to confirm.

Chase’s published delivery estimates vary by page: one replacement page says generally 5–7 business days, while its lost-or-stolen-wallet FAQ says 3–5 days. Expect several business days and follow the delivery status in your account.

A replacement may have a new card number, expiration date, and security code. You may need to update recurring billers and subscriptions. Some participating merchants or wallet tokens may update automatically, but Chase does not guarantee that every saved payment will do so. Chase says Apple Pay cards are often updated automatically, although a card may need to be added again if the existing digital token cannot be preserved.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

If you suspect unauthorized use, contact Chase immediately through the official number shown in the app, on your statement, or on the card. Chase’s lost-or-stolen FAQ lists 1-800-432-3117 for credit-card help, but confirm current contact details through Chase’s official customer-service channels.

Why the number may not appear

  • Chase masks sensitive card information in digital banking views.
  • Your app version or interface differs from the instructions.
  • You selected a checking account instead of the credit-card account.
  • The card is newly issued, replaced, closed, or not activated.
  • The card or account profile is not eligible for a particular feature.
  • You are using a Business Banking or Private Bank profile that has different Digital Assistant availability.

Update the Chase Mobile app, sign out and back in, confirm that you selected the correct card, try Chase.com in a browser, and use the Digital Assistant if available. If the information is still missing or incorrect, contact Chase through an official channel.

What not to assume

  • There is a universal Show card number button in the Chase app.
  • Show details for bank account numbers will reveal a credit-card number.
  • Every digital statement contains all 16 digits.
  • Apple Pay or another wallet displays the original physical card number.
  • A replacement will arrive on one fixed schedule.

Browsers and payment services may retain saved payment details, but retrieving them through autofill is not a Chase-app method and creates privacy and security risks. Treat it only as a cautious last resort and never share your full number, security code, one-time passcode, or login credentials with anyone claiming to be Chase.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
