The best historical deal: 15-inch M3 MacBook Air with 16GB/512GB
The most compelling configuration in the June 25, 2024 roundup was the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air with 16GB of unified memory and a 512GB SSD. It was listed at $1,499 shipped, or $200 below the stated $1,699 regular price. The source described it as within $10 of its tracked all-time low at that time.

This was a better value than simply choosing the cheapest MacBook Air. The 16GB memory configuration offers more headroom for browser tabs, office applications, photo work, and multitasking than the 8GB version, while 512GB is more practical than a 256GB drive for documents, applications, photos, and downloaded media. The 15-inch display is also useful for split-screen work, spreadsheets, editing timelines, and schoolwork.

The roundup’s lead offer was the 13-inch, 128GB M2 iPad Air with Wi‑Fi + Cellular. A new Amazon unit was listed at about $904 shipped, compared with a stated $949 regular price. Best Buy open-box stock was listed at $854.99, approximately $94 below the stated regular price.

The open-box price was not equivalent to the new-product price. Best Buy’s listing described the unit as having a one-year warranty, but warranty coverage, accessories, condition grading, battery condition, and return terms depend on the exact listing and retailer policy. Verify those details at checkout.
“Wi‑Fi + Cellular” also describes a physical hardware configuration, not free mobile service. Buyers may need a compatible carrier plan, and should confirm that the iPad is unlocked, supports the intended carrier and bands, and uses the expected eSIM or cellular setup.

Which iPad Air configuration made sense?
- Choose 11-inch if portability, lower cost, and easier one-handed use matter most.
- Choose 13-inch for a larger workspace, split-screen apps, drawing, documents, and media consumption.
- Choose Wi‑Fi-only if you usually have phone hotspot access. It avoids the cellular hardware premium and recurring data cost.
- Choose cellular if you regularly work or travel without dependable Wi‑Fi and value an independent data connection.

Compare Sonos Ace with AirPods Max and premium Bose or Sony headphones based on comfort, active noise cancellation, microphone performance, multipoint behavior, and platform compatibility—not price alone. Confirm the exact model before purchasing. Keypad, fingerprint, Wi‑Fi, and key-free versions are not interchangeable. - Separate condition from price. Do not compare an open-box or renewed item directly with a new unit without accounting for the condition difference.
- Calculate total cost. Include sales tax, shipping, memberships, coupons, cellular service, subscriptions, installation, and necessary accessories such as a Pencil or keyboard.
- Read the return and warranty terms. Confirm the return window, restocking rules, manufacturer warranty, retailer warranty, and who handles service.
- Inspect open-box items quickly. Check battery condition where available, charger and accessories, cosmetic damage, account or activation locks, and cellular unlock status.
- Check product age. Older hardware may be discounted because a newer generation is available. Compare the price gap rather than relying on the percentage discount.
