The reported Google Store France promotion cut the 128GB Pixel 7 Pro from €899 to €749, a €150 saving. PiunikaWeb reported it on January 2, 2024; it is a historical deal, not a confirmed offer today. Google’s current French phone catalog features newer Pixel models and does not list the Pixel 7 Pro in its main lineup, so check the product page and cart before relying on any old price.
What was the Pixel 7 Pro deal?
PiunikaWeb’s January 2, 2024 report described a Google Store France offer for the 128GB Pixel 7 Pro. It listed Obsidian, Snow and Hazel colors. The report said the reduced price appeared at checkout; it did not establish a promotion end date.

The report also gave the saving as approximately $165 at the time. That was an approximate historical currency conversion, not a current exchange-rate value. Its price and discount apply to the described 128GB configuration; they do not establish the price of other storage tiers.

Is the offer still available?
It is not verified as live. The report is dated January 2024, and the Google Store France phone catalog currently presents newer models, including Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 families, without showing the Pixel 7 Pro in its main lineup. That is reason not to describe the old promotion as active, though it cannot rule out residual stock or a separate listing.

To verify a listing, use the French Google Store itself rather than an old article, cached search result or a seller’s claim that it is the Google Store:
- Open the Google Store France phone catalog and search for “Pixel 7 Pro.”
- If a product page is available, check its storage, color, condition, displayed price and delivery eligibility for your address.
- Review the seller, warranty, return terms and any promotional-code conditions. A marketplace listing is not a Google Store offer.
- Add the phone to your cart and check the final amount, including shipping and any conditional trade-in or financing terms, before paying.
A search snippet or old €749 price is not confirmation of current stock or checkout pricing.

What support life remains in 2026?
Google says the Pixel 7 Pro first became available on the US Google Store in October 2022 and is eligible for five years of Android and security updates from that initial availability. Applying that policy implies support through approximately October 2027—not five years from the date an individual buys the phone. As of August 18, 2026, that leaves roughly 14 months, assuming the policy and inferred endpoint remain unchanged.

Google’s policy gives Pixel 8 and later models seven years of updates, so they offer a materially longer stated support runway. See Google’s Pixel availability dates and software-update policy.
What the older flagship still offers—and what to check
The Pixel 7 Pro remains a premium-class device, with a telephoto camera, high-resolution display, wireless charging and IP68 dust and water resistance. IP68 is not a promise that a used phone is waterproof: Google notes resistance can diminish over time, and liquid damage may affect warranty coverage. Its hardware specifications also note that network availability, 5G performance and supported bands can vary by carrier and region.
Age matters even for a sealed unit. A new old-stock phone may have a battery that has spent years in storage; a refurbished one may have battery wear or replacement parts. Before buying, establish who is selling it, whether it is unlocked and compatible with your carrier, the warranty and return window, and whether the battery or other parts have been replaced. Keep a trade-in credit separate from the outright price when comparing offers.

When does a Pixel 7 Pro make financial sense?
Consider it if
- The price is substantially below the historical €749 promotion, not merely close to it.
- You specifically value its telephoto camera and large, high-resolution screen.
- The seller provides clear condition, warranty and return terms, and you are comfortable with the approximate October 2027 support horizon.
Look elsewhere if
- You want several more years of stated software support, or the price approaches that of a newer phone.
- The listing does not make the device’s condition, seller identity, warranty or return rights clear.
- You need particular 5G bands or eSIM support and have not confirmed compatibility with your French carrier.
For a newer Pixel and longer support runway, compare the models currently listed by the Google Store France; current prices should be checked on their product pages. A refurbished Pixel 7 Pro may cost less, but listings and terms vary. Back Market France and Amazon France are examples of places to compare listings, not confirmation of current prices, stock or equivalent warranty. Check the actual seller and condition before treating two offers as comparable.
