“Up to” matters: the maximum savings did not apply to every storage configuration. The reported $470 saving was tied to the 512GB Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Was the Galaxy Ring free?
No. The Galaxy Ring was reportedly 5% off when purchased alongside a Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra. It was a discounted add-on, not a free wearable and not automatically included with every phone.

SamMobile’s report was updated on November 26, 2024, at 10:48 UTC+01:00, after the usual Black Friday date. That is why it was described as a late Black Friday promotion. The report did not provide a fixed expiry date; it described the offer as available while the deal lasted.

Was it a good deal?
For someone already planning to buy a Galaxy S24 Ultra—especially the 512GB model—and wanting a Galaxy Ring, the reported phone discount was potentially substantial. The Ring’s 5% reduction, however, was modest. The larger Buds2 Pro and Galaxy Watch discounts may have been more compelling, but a large percentage does not guarantee the lowest final price.
The bundle was less attractive for someone who wanted only the phone or was considering the Galaxy Ring solely because it was discounted. A carrier offer, a current retailer price, a trade-in promotion, or a later standalone accessory sale could produce a lower total cost.
