Important: Samsung’s Super Bowl promotion was reported on February 4, 2026, and should be treated as expired as of September 19, 2026 unless Samsung is currently showing a replacement offer. The headline deals were the 75-inch The Frame Pro for $1,999.99, down from $3,199.99, and the 65-inch 2025 The Frame for $1,199.99, down from $1,799.99.
Those prices were attractive, but the largest discount did not automatically make The Frame the best television deal. Its premium is primarily for design and art-display features. Buyers focused on movies, sports, gaming, or picture quality per dollar may have been better served by Samsung’s OLED, QLED, or Neo QLED alternatives.
MacRumors reported that the February discounts were applied automatically on Samsung’s website. The original report did not establish a promotion end date, current inventory, installation costs, return terms, or whether the prices remained available after February.

The $1,200 reduction applied specifically to the reported 75-inch The Frame Pro price—not to every Frame model. MacRumors described both Frame prices as matching reported all-time lows, but that characterization was not based on an independently supplied price-history methodology. The percentages above are calculated from the listed before-and-after prices; a manufacturer’s regular price is not necessarily the same as a product’s typical street price.

The Frame makes the most sense for someone who wants a television to blend into a room and display artwork when it is not being watched. That design benefit is different from picture-quality value. If the television’s main job is showing football, movies, streaming video, or games, compare its specifications, performance reviews, viewing environment, and total installation cost with conventional TVs before treating the discount as a bargain.

Which TV deal made the most sense?
For the lowest entry price
The 55-inch QLED QEF1 at $349.99 was the lowest-priced television in the reported list. It was the more rational choice for a buyer who simply needed an affordable screen for general viewing and did not care about The Frame’s appearance or art mode.

For a large screen at a lower price
The 75-inch Vision AI at $599.99 and 75-inch Neo QLED QN70F at $999.99 offered larger screens without The Frame’s lifestyle-TV premium. A conventional television can be a better fit for sports and streaming when room appearance is not the priority.
For OLED-focused viewing
The 55-inch OLED S95F was reported at $1,899.99, reduced from $2,299.99. It was the relevant alternative for buyers prioritizing an OLED television’s typical use-case advantages, such as strong contrast and dark-room movie viewing. That does not establish that it is categorically better than The Frame; the right choice depends on the buyer’s priorities and the exact model’s tested performance.
For design-conscious buyers
The 50-inch The Frame at $799.99 was the lower-cost route into Samsung’s art-display concept. The 65-inch Frame and 75-inch Frame Pro offered more screen area, but the higher price still represented payment for design integration as well as television hardware. Buyers should budget for mounting, cable routing, optional bezels, and installation where applicable.

The monitor offers served different needs from the television deals. ViewFinity models were aimed at general productivity, the Smart Monitor M7 at users wanting a large display with built-in smart features, and Odyssey models at gaming or ultrawide desktop setups. Do not assume a monitor provides a television tuner, the same apps, speakers, ports, refresh rate, HDR support, or viewing-distance experience as a TV; verify the exact model before buying.
Galaxy offers were not simple price cuts
The promotion also listed the following potential savings:
- Galaxy XR: up to $1,140 with the Explorer Pack.
- Galaxy Z Fold7: up to $1,000 in instant trade-in credit.
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: up to $700 in instant trade-in credit.
- Galaxy Ring: up to $150 in trade-in credit.
- Galaxy Watch Ultra: up to $250.
- Galaxy Watch 8: up to $200.
These figures should not be compared directly with an unconditional television markdown. “Up to” amounts can depend on the device traded in, its condition, eligibility rules, bundled promotions, and other terms. The available report did not provide the qualifying-device list, condition requirements, carrier rules, or final redemption terms. A shopper should treat the trade-in value as conditional savings until Samsung confirms the exact offer.

How to judge whether The Frame was worth it
- Start with the room, not the discount. The Frame is most defensible when a conventional black screen would be visually intrusive and the owner will actually use its art-display features.
- Compare picture priorities. Check brightness, contrast, reflection handling, viewing angles, gaming features, sound, software, and warranty against similarly priced OLED, QLED, and Neo QLED models.
- Consider sports separately. The Super Bowl branding was promotional. A Frame television was not automatically the best sports-viewing display simply because it was discounted.
- Price the whole installation. Wall mounting, cable management, a bezel, delivery, installation, and removal of an old television can change the effective cost.
- Separate design value from image value. If art mode and room integration have little value to you, a conventional Samsung TV may deliver a more sensible use of the same budget.
Individual comments in the associated MacRumors discussion expressed skepticism about The Frame’s picture quality, software, and value. Those are anecdotal opinions, not controlled product testing, so they should be treated as buyer sentiment rather than proof of a general product defect.
What to check before buying a replacement Samsung deal
- Confirm the live price and exact model number on Samsung’s U.S. website.
- Verify the screen size, color, included stand or mount, and stock status.
- Determine whether the saving is an automatic markdown, coupon, trade-in credit, bundle benefit, or member-only price.
- Read shipping, delivery, installation, haul-away, return, and warranty terms.
- For trade-ins, verify the qualifying device, condition rules, inspection process, and what happens if the device is rejected or valued differently.
- Compare the final out-of-pocket cost with conventional OLED, QLED, and Neo QLED televisions rather than comparing only the advertised saving.
The February report said discounts were automatic, but that applied to that promotion and should not be assumed for a later Samsung sale. Current prices and availability were not established by the supplied research.
