The Disney+ and Hulu bundle promotion that offered both ad-supported services for $4.99 per month ended March 24, 2026. It was available to new and eligible returning U.S. subscribers for three months—not for a full year—and then renewed at the regular or then-current monthly price unless canceled.
If you are deciding whether to subscribe now, the current official Hulu bundle page lists the standard Disney+, Hulu Bundle at $12.99 per month and the Premium version at $19.99 per month. Prices and terms can change, so check the checkout screen before paying.
What the $4.99 Disney+ and Hulu deal included
| Detail | Offer terms |
|---|---|
| Promotional price | $4.99 per month |
| Promotional period | Three months |
| Services | Disney+ With Ads and Hulu With Ads |
| Availability | U.S. only |
| Eligibility | New and eligible returning subscribers |
| Deadline | March 24, 2026 |
| Status | Expired |
The promotion was approximately 62% below the then-regular $12.99 monthly bundle price, a savings of about $8 per promotional month. Hulu announced the offer in its official press release.
“Lowest price of the year so far” should be understood in context: the $4.99 rate was the lowest Disney+/Hulu bundle price reported for this particular 2026 promotion at the time. It was not a permanent price and should not be treated as a guarantee that no other Disney-related promotion existed.

- In this animated comedy adventure, animal lover Mabel seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to "hop" her consciousness into a lifelike robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she makes amazing discoveries, Mabel befriends a charismatic beaver and must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major, imminent, human threat.
Who qualified?
The offer was intended for new subscribers and eligible returning subscribers. It excluded existing Disney+, ESPN, Hulu and bundle subscribers under the cited terms. Not every former subscriber necessarily qualified.
Eligibility could also depend on how an account was billed. Customers paying through an app store, internet provider, mobile carrier or another third party could have different cancellation and upgrade rules. If the offer did not appear at checkout, possible explanations included expiration, an existing subscription, third-party billing, ineligibility or being outside the U.S.
Do not cancel an existing plan solely to pursue a promotion without first checking the consequences. Cancellation can affect remaining access, billing dates and promotional eligibility.

What “With Ads” meant
The $4.99 offer covered the ad-supported tiers of both services. Advertisements could appear during the Disney+ and Hulu viewing experience, and Disney’s bundle information notes that ads may also be served in selected live and linear content.
The deal did not include the Premium bundle. The current official Hulu page lists the standard Disney+, Hulu Bundle at $12.99 per month and Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium at $19.99 per month, based on the latest retrieved August 2026 pricing.
Neither basic option should be confused with Hulu + Live TV or an ESPN subscription. The duo bundle is primarily for on-demand Disney+ and Hulu programming.
What subscribers received
- Disney+: Programming from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic.
- Hulu: Television shows, movies, Hulu originals and current-season programming.
- Two linked services: Subscribers could use their MyDisney credentials to access or activate Disney+ and install both apps.
The services were linked but not completely merged. Selected Hulu programming could appear inside Disney+, while additional Hulu content and certain features remained available only through the Hulu app. The official bundle page explains the access model.

For a new subscriber, the general process was:
- Open the Disney+/Hulu bundle signup page.
- Select the available Disney+, Hulu plan.
- Enter an email address and payment information.
- Review the displayed price, promotional period, renewal rate and cancellation terms.
- Complete the subscription and use the account credentials to access the linked services.
- Install the Disney+ and Hulu apps as needed.
These are the general bundle-signup steps, not a method for obtaining the expired $4.99 rate. Eligible Hulu-billed subscribers could sometimes switch through Hulu or DisneyPlus.com. Third-party-billed customers might need to resolve billing with their provider first. Disney’s bundle signup help page lists separate paths for different account types.
What the promotion cost over a year
The first three promotional months totaled $14.97 ($4.99 × 3). If the following nine months had remained at $12.99, those months would have cost $116.91, producing an illustrative first-year total of $131.88 before taxes.

That is an example, not a guaranteed bill. It assumes the regular price stayed unchanged, the subscriber remained enrolled for 12 months and billing timing did not create a different partial period.

The introductory rate was temporary. After three months, the subscription generally renewed automatically at the regular—or then-current—monthly price unless the customer canceled. The applicable checkout terms for the account controlled the exact renewal amount.

Subscribers who wanted only the promotion should have recorded the renewal date and set a reminder several days beforehand. Disney’s cited terms allow cancellation, with access generally continuing through the applicable billing period. They also state that partial-month refunds or credits are not provided.
Best Value
Canceling immediately may preserve access through the paid promotional period, but the result depends on the account’s billing terms. Cancellation does not guarantee a refund.
Current alternatives
Since the $4.99 offer has ended, choose based on what your household actually watches:
- Standard Disney+, Hulu Bundle — $12.99 per month: The lower-cost current option for viewers who want both services and accept ads. See the official Hulu pricing page.
- Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium — $19.99 per month: Better suited to viewers who prioritize ad-free viewing in the main streaming libraries, but it costs more.
- Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max bundles: Worth considering if you already pay separately for HBO Max as well as Disney+ and Hulu. A previously cited $9.99 introductory offer ended June 15, 2026, so do not assume it is still available; check the official bundle page.
- Disney+, Hulu and ESPN bundles: A potential fit for sports-focused households. ESPN additions are poor value if nobody in the household watches sports. Current plan families and signup guidance are available through Disney’s help center.
Bottom line
The $4.99 Disney+ and Hulu promotion was a strong short-term deal for eligible U.S. customers who wanted both ad-supported services. But it offered only three months at that price, ended on March 24, 2026, and automatically renewed unless canceled. The current decision is whether the standard $12.99 bundle, the $19.99 Premium tier or a larger bundle matches your viewing needs—not whether you can still claim the expired $4.99 offer.
