At a documented $124.99, Windows Central described the Alloy Rise 75 as a premium 75% wireless gaming keyboard with modular design, multi-device connectivity and solid battery life. That combination made it a stronger all-round deal than the cheapest mechanical boards for buyers who wanted wireless gaming and a compact layout.

Best cheap mechanical keyboard: Lemokey X1
The Lemokey X1 reached $20.71 from $36.99, making it the standout entry-level price in the documented coverage. Tom’s Guide included it among its recommended deals and said it exceeded expectations in its review. That is useful editorial evidence, not a guarantee that it matches a premium board.
At this price, expect a simpler feature set and verify the switch option, layout, connectivity, keycap compatibility, software and warranty. Low-cost mechanical boards can involve compromises in stabilizers, acoustics, wireless reliability or long-term support.

Skip it if: you need premium typing feel, extensive customization, dependable cross-platform software or a numpad.
Best budget 75% board: Redragon K673 Pro
The Redragon K673 Pro was listed at $37.35, down from $64.99. It was a sensible budget choice for shoppers specifically seeking a compact 75% mechanical layout rather than a full-size keyboard.
Check the exact switch and wireless variant carefully: keyboard families can have different generations, layouts and connection options under similar names.
Skip it if: you want proven premium software, refined materials or extensive replacement-parts support.
Best office keyboard: Logitech MX Keys Mini
The MX Keys Mini fell to $79 from $99. It is a compact, low-profile productivity keyboard designed for people who prefer a laptop-like key feel and quieter everyday typing over mechanical customization.

Its trade-offs are straightforward: there is no numpad, and it does not provide the switch choice or enthusiast modifications associated with mechanical boards. Bluetooth and multi-device workflows can be useful for laptops and tablets, but confirm compatibility with your operating systems and devices.
Skip it if: you want mechanical switches, gaming features, a dedicated numpad or a conventional desktop-keyboard feel.
Best general-purpose mechanical keyboard: Keychron K2 V3
The Keychron K2 V3 was documented at $71, reduced from $84. Its 75% format is a practical middle ground: it saves desk space while retaining function-row access and dedicated arrow keys.

It is a better fit than a gaming-first board for many typists, programmers and general users, but compact layouts can place Home, End, Page Up and Page Down behind function-layer shortcuts. Verify the exact Windows/macOS support, switch configuration and connection modes before purchase.
Skip it if: you frequently enter numbers, require a full navigation cluster or want adjustable actuation for competitive gaming.
Best Hall-effect gaming deal: Meletrix Boog75
The Boog75 reached $125.99 from a cited $199.99 price. Its magnetic, or Hall-effect, switches can support adjustable actuation and rapid-trigger-style behavior, making it most relevant to competitive players who will configure those features.
Hall-effect is not automatically better for writing or office work. A conventional mechanical or scissor keyboard may be quieter, simpler and more comfortable for those tasks. Configuration software and compatibility also matter, particularly if you use macOS or Linux.
Skip it if: you do not play competitive games or have no interest in adjustable actuation.

Best competitive-gaming deal: Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL
The Huntsman V3 Pro TKL was listed at $147.99, down from $219.99. Its adjustable actuation range and Rapid Trigger-oriented features target competitive gaming, especially players who want to tune key activation.
Those features do not automatically improve performance for every gamer. The TKL layout removes the numpad, leaving more room for mouse movement but making numeric-heavy work less convenient.
Skip it if: you primarily type, need a numpad or want a cheaper conventional mechanical keyboard.
Best numpad-friendly wireless option: ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless
PC Gamer documented this 96% wireless model at $130, an $80 saving. The 96% layout keeps nearly all of the keys found on a full-size keyboard while using less space, making it a useful compromise for buyers who need a numpad but do not want the footprint of a traditional full-size board.
Check whether the exact listing includes the receiver, which wireless modes it supports, charging behavior and whether it can be used wired while charging.
Skip it if: maximum mouse room or a minimalist desk setup matters more than numeric entry.
Best premium low-profile wireless board: Corsair K100 Air Wireless
TechRadar listed the K100 Air Wireless at $179.99, down from $329.99. The large advertised reduction made it notable, but the product remains a niche premium purchase for buyers who specifically want low-profile wireless mechanical keys.
A high percentage discount does not make an expensive keyboard the best value. Confirm battery assumptions, RGB impact, wireless modes, included receiver and software support.

Premium TKL alternative: SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Gen 3
The Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 was listed at $189.99 from $239.99. It belongs in the premium gaming category for buyers interested in adjustable-switch features and a TKL layout.
It is not the obvious choice for office users or spreadsheet work, and the cited saving should be treated as a comparison against the listed price rather than proof of a historical low.
Skip it if: you need a numpad, want a quiet productivity keyboard or do not need adjustable gaming features.
Other documented Cyber Week prices
The coverage also recorded the NuPhy Halo75 V2 at $103 from $139, the Razer BlackWidow V4 at $129.99 from $179.99, the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro at $189.99 from $249.99, the Gamakay LK75 at $58 from $69, the Gamakay x NaughShark NS68 at $46, and the Logitech G Pro at $85 after a reported $36 saving.
The BlackWidow V4 is worth noting for buyers who wanted a conventional gaming board and hot-swappable switches; Tom’s Guide described it as Razer’s first hot-swappable gaming keyboard and gave it a 4.5-star review score. That score belongs to Tom’s Guide and is not an industry-wide standard.

Start with the layout
- Full-size: includes a numpad and suits frequent numeric entry, but uses the most desk space.
- 96%: keeps nearly all full-size keys in a tighter arrangement.
- TKL or 80%: removes the numpad and generally provides more mouse room.
- 75%: keeps the function row and arrows in a compact enthusiast-friendly format.
- 65% and 60%: save more space but move or remove navigation, function and arrow keys.
Retail categories commonly separate keyboards by layout, switch technology and design—including full-size, TKL, 75%, 65%, 60%, 96%, ergonomic, mechanical, membrane, optical and Hall-effect models. Those distinctions matter more than brand alone.

Choose the switch technology for the job
- Mechanical: offers distinct key feel, switch choices and, on some boards, customization.
- Membrane: is often cheaper and quieter and can be entirely adequate for casual gaming or office use.
- Optical: uses light-based actuation; its behavior depends on the manufacturer’s implementation.
- Hall-effect or magnetic: can enable adjustable actuation and rapid-trigger behavior, but is usually most valuable to competitive gamers.
Compare wired and wireless carefully
Wired USB is simple and avoids charging. For wireless gaming, 2.4GHz is generally the mode shoppers should prioritize; Bluetooth is more useful for laptops, tablets, phones and multi-device workflows. Do not assume identical latency across all models without testing.

Before buying, check whether the receiver is included, whether Bluetooth and 2.4GHz can be used together, whether charging is through USB-C, whether RGB reduces battery life, and whether the keyboard remains usable while charging.
Understand hot-swap support
Hot-swappable sockets let you replace compatible switches without soldering. They do not make every switch compatible: socket type and switch style still matter. Also check whether replacement switches, keycaps, cables, receivers and batteries are readily available.
Check software and compatibility
Confirm support for your exact Windows or macOS setup, as well as console compatibility if relevant. Some functions or configuration tools may be limited on macOS, and proprietary software can be a poor fit for Linux users. Onboard memory is useful when it allows settings to persist without software running, but verify that feature for the exact model.

- Identify the exact variant. Match the model, generation, US ANSI or UK ISO layout, switch type, color and wired or wireless version.
- Separate list price from normal price. “Was” prices may be MSRP, a current list price, a recent selling price or a retailer’s comparable value.
- Check the seller and returns. Marketplace listings can differ in warranty, condition and support from products sold directly by the retailer.
- Compare the missing features. A cheap board may require a separate receiver, lack Mac legends or offer limited software and replacement parts.
- Use the price as a benchmark. Since the Cyber Monday 2025 offers have ended, compare any current listing against the historical price rather than treating the old promotion as live.
Who should wait or choose something else?
Wait for a better fit when a listing is only slightly below its usual street price, the exact variant is unclear, a newer generation is replacing it, or the product lacks the operating-system support you need. Choose a different layout if you use spreadsheets heavily, and avoid Hall-effect models unless adjustable actuation or rapid trigger is genuinely useful to you.
For a shared office, a budget mechanical board may be a false economy if its sound, stabilizers or software are unacceptable. Conversely, a premium wireless model is unnecessary if wired use is fine. An ergonomic keyboard can change wrist and shoulder positioning, but it is not medical treatment and usually requires an adaptation period.
Regional warning
The documented Logitech Ergo K860 Cyber Monday offer was £59.99 in the UK, not a US-dollar deal. It should not be mixed into this US roundup. The same applies to UK ISO variants and other region-specific listings.
Bottom line by budget
- Under $40: choose the Lemokey X1 for the lowest-cost mechanical entry point, or the Redragon K673 Pro if you specifically want a budget 75% layout.
- Around $70–$80: choose the Keychron K2 V3 for general-purpose mechanical use, or the Logitech MX Keys Mini for quiet, low-profile office typing.
- Around $125: choose the HyperX Alloy Rise 75 for wireless gaming and modularity, or the Meletrix Boog75 for Hall-effect gaming features.
- Around $150–$190: choose the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL for competitive gaming, the Corsair K100 Air Wireless for premium low-profile typing, or the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 for premium TKL gaming.
