There are no verifiable 2026 Cyber Monday “last deals” yet. In Australia, Cyber Monday falls on Monday, November 30, 2026, so any price described as live before that date needs independent confirmation. The headline “Cyber Monday deals: Mega annual sale event coming to an end” refers to a PerthNow/ShopNow article published on December 2, 2024—not a current deal list. Treat its prices as historical examples, not offers available today.
This guide explains how to validate a deal when the 2026 campaigns go live, and how to decide whether buying now is sensible or waiting is safer.
What the original “coming to an end” article actually covered
PerthNow’s December 2, 2024 article described Australian promotions moving from Black Friday into Cyber Monday. It included technology, floor-care products, mattresses, coffee machines, fashion, beauty, fitness, luggage, bedding, kitchen appliances and gifts.
Examples were a Samsung 75-inch The Frame television at $2,392, a Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 2 at $1,249, Apple AirPods Pro (second generation) at $328 and a Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer at $199.99. Those were Australian-dollar prices at that 2024 event. They do not establish current pricing, stock or a likely 2026 discount.
#1 Best Overall
The article also contains an apparent AirPods reference-price typo (“$39” in one section, while the surrounding context indicates $399). Do not copy that figure. A claimed saving must be checked against the exact product and a credible reference price.
When Cyber Monday 2026 happens
Australia Post’s 2026 e-commerce calendar places Cyber Monday on Monday, November 30. The event is not centrally controlled: each retailer chooses its own start time, end time, exclusions and stock limits.
Rank #2
- Ideal for Gifting
- Ideal for a bookworm
- Compact for travelling
Campaigns can run for several days or weeks. Amazon Australia’s 2025 promotion ran from November 18 through December 1, illustrating that a retailer’s “Cyber Monday” campaign may extend well beyond the named day. Lenovo’s Australian page also shows that a Black Friday campaign can continue through Cyber Monday with a precise closing time.
Do not rely on a retailer banner alone. Myer’s Black Friday page has displayed a “Monday 30 December 2026” start date, although December 30, 2026 is a Wednesday and Cyber Monday is November 30. Contradictory dates require confirmation from the promotion’s terms or the retailer.
What “ending soon” means in practice
- An offer may end at a stated time, often in the retailer’s Australian time zone.
- “While stocks last” can end the deal before the advertised date.
- Online stock may not deliver to every postcode, even when the product page says available.
- A retailer may replace one promotion with another rather than leave the same price running.
- Storewide wording can exclude clearance, selected brands, marketplace listings and already-discounted goods.
- A countdown timer is a marketing signal, not proof that the price will never return.
Which categories need the closest checks?
Televisions, laptops and other electronics
Identify the complete Australian model number. For a TV, check panel type, size, refresh rate, HDMI 2.1, gaming features, operating system and warranty. For a laptop, compare processor generation, memory, storage, display, weight, operating system and the conditions behind any battery claim. TV suffixes and retailer-exclusive variants can have materially different specifications.
Rank #3
For headphones and earbuds, check active noise cancellation, supported codecs, multipoint, battery claims and the return policy. Apple products may be discounted directly, or offered with a gift card or accessory incentive; those are not equivalent to a cash reduction.
Vacuums and mops
Compare cordless-stick and robot models by runtime, charge time, battery-replacement cost, dust-bin or water-tank capacity, mapping, obstacle avoidance and consumable prices. Robot products may require an app and suitable room layout. Check what is in the bundle: a smaller battery, fewer tools or a different dock can explain a lower price.

Coffee machines
Capsule, automatic bean-to-cup and manual espresso machines have different ownership costs. Include capsules or beans, grinder adjustment, milk-system cleaning, warranty and repair arrangements. A discount based on manufacturer RRP may look larger than one measured against the machine’s recent selling price.
Mattresses and bedding
Before ordering, confirm the trial period, return or pickup fees, delivery charge, warranty exclusions, eligible sizes and compatibility with the existing bed base. The 2024 roundup listed discounts from brands including Emma, Ecosa, Origin and Eva, but did not independently establish comfort or durability rankings.
Best Value
- It can be a gift option
- Comes with secure packaging
- Helpful in various ways
Fashion, beauty and fitness
Check the exact size, colour and shade before paying. Read final-sale and return-postage rules, brand exclusions and coupon-stacking conditions. Beauty offers may exclude prestige brands, gift sets or sale items; “up to” percentages may apply to only a small selection. For fitness clothing, limited sizing can make a nominal discount unusable.
How to verify a Cyber Monday saving
- Search the exact model number, not only the product name.
- Compare the price on the manufacturer’s Australian site, major retailers and a reputable price-history service.
- Determine whether the “was” price is a recent selling price or simply an RRP.
- Add delivery, installation, recycling, removal or mandatory-accessory charges.
- Read returns, warranty and repair terms before checkout.
- On a marketplace, verify the seller, dispatch location and who handles warranty claims.
- Check compatibility with your devices, network, cookware, capsules or accessories.
- Screenshot the advertised price, terms and delivery estimate.
- Use a payment method with appropriate dispute protection where available.
- Ignore pressure to buy solely because of a timer or low-stock message.
Buy now or wait?
Buying immediately can be reasonable when
- The exact model has a verified low price against recent history.
- Stock is visibly limited or the model is being replaced.
- Your required size, colour or configuration is available.
- The returns policy and warranty are acceptable.
- Waiting could jeopardise a genuine delivery deadline.
Waiting is usually safer when
- The claim says only “up to” a percentage.
- The product is widely stocked by several retailers.
- The former price appears inflated or cannot be corroborated.
- A paid membership is required for a small saving.
- A newer model is imminent.
- Delivery and installation charges erase the headline discount.
- Seller identity, Australian warranty support or returns are unclear.
Trade-offs hidden behind the headline percentage
| Choice | Potential benefit | Risk to check |
|---|---|---|
| Lowest marketplace price | May beat major-retailer pricing | Different seller, warranty and return process |
| Older premium model | Stronger hardware for less | Shorter remaining software support |
| Bundle | Useful accessories included | Value disappears if the extras are unwanted |
| Gift card or store credit | Can increase effective value | Less flexibility and possible expiry or restrictions |
| Capsule coffee machine | Low upfront price | Proprietary capsules can cost more over time |
| Large appliance or mattress | Large advertised reduction | Delivery, installation, removal and return costs |
Where to monitor the 2026 event
Use official Australian pages as monitoring destinations, not as evidence of a live deal before the campaign starts. Relevant categories include electronics from Samsung, LG, Lenovo, HP, Apple, Bose and Sony; home appliances from Dyson, iRobot, Shark, Dreame, ECOVACS, Breville, De’Longhi and Nespresso; and department, fashion and beauty retailers including Myer, The Iconic, Sephora, Adore Beauty, Bonds and Priceline.
When a live article is published, every listed offer should show the retailer, exact model, AUD price, reference price, saving calculation, end time, stock or postcode qualification, delivery terms, coupon or membership requirement and whether the seller is the retailer or a marketplace participant.
Historical-deal warning
The December 2024 PerthNow roundup is useful for seeing the breadth of Australian Cyber Monday categories, but its prices and stock are expired snapshots. A current deal page should remove an offer when the price changes or stock sells out, display the time checked and clearly label any commercial link or commission relationship.
