Samsung: separate the cash price from the trade-in pitch
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 was listed from about $1,550, with up to $467 off through Amazon. Samsung’s promotion was reported as reaching up to $1,000 off with trade-in. That larger figure should not be read as $1,000 off for every buyer: it depended on an eligible device and its condition and value. The source also noted that some Samsung accounts appeared to show a $600 Fold 7 discount that could not be reproduced consistently.
Storage and color mattered. A Jetblack Fold 7 or a higher-capacity configuration could price differently, and a retailer’s version of the offer might not match Samsung’s. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 was reported from about $900, up to $268 off, with the price dependent on configuration. Compare the outright price against the trade-in price, and subtract the value of the phone you surrender before deciding that the trade-in is the better deal.
Foldables are a poor choice if the discount is the only reason to buy. Consider whether you will use the inner screen, the cost of repair or protection, warranty and return terms, and how long you intend to keep the device. A lower upfront price does not remove the potential cost of a damaged folding display.

Galaxy S25 phones
The Galaxy S25 Ultra was reported from about $900, or $400 off, with up to $700 off when trading in a device. The standard Galaxy S25 had a reported $125 direct discount and trade-in savings of up to $480. These are different purchase paths: compare the cash price with the total cost of any installment or activation plan, and include the value of your trade-in rather than treating the maximum advertised credit as a free discount.
Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro were reported at $120 off, while Galaxy Buds 3 FE were listed at $110, described by the roundup as an all-time low. That price-history label belongs to the source’s tracking at the time; it does not establish today’s price. Buds 3 Pro are the more natural match for Samsung phone owners who value Galaxy integration. Buds 3 FE were the lower-entry-cost option. For other Android phones, compare the features you will actually use and the fit before paying extra for ecosystem benefits.
Galaxy Watch 8 prices were reported as follows: 40mm Bluetooth, $230 (reference $350); 40mm LTE, $280 (reference $400); 44mm Bluetooth, $260 (reference $380); and 44mm LTE, $310 (reference $430). LTE models had a lower hardware price than their reference price, but cellular service can carry a recurring carrier charge. Choose LTE only if you expect to use the watch away from your phone enough to justify that ongoing cost.

A discounted prior-generation or lower-tier phone can be sensible if it meets your needs, but a markdown alone does not make it better value than a newer device. Check storage, software-support expectations, return policy, and the actual price of comparable models before choosing.

Pixel Watch 4
Reported prices were $300 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model (reference $350), $350 for the 45mm Wi-Fi model (reference $400), $350 for 41mm LTE (reference $450), and $400 for 45mm LTE (reference $500). The LTE reductions were larger in dollars, but a cellular watch is only a better deal if you want independent connectivity and accept any carrier fee. Pixel Watch is aimed at Android and Google users; check compatibility with your particular phone and carrier before purchase.
Pixel Buds, Nest, and Google TV
Pixel Buds Pro 2 were reported from $134 versus $229, and Pixel Buds 2a at $100 versus $130. Pro 2 are the premium Google-oriented earbud option; 2a cost less but have a smaller discount. Earbud value still depends on a secure, comfortable seal, so a low price is not useful if the fit does not work for you.

The Google TV Streamer 4K was listed at $75 versus $99. Nest hardware offers included the wired third-generation Nest Doorbell at $140 versus $180, wired third-generation Nest Cam Indoor at $75 versus $100, and wired second-generation Nest Cam Outdoor at $120 versus $150. Treat these as historical prices and check installation needs, compatibility, and any service features you plan to use before buying.
Nothing and CMF audio: choose by form factor
Over-ear headphones and true-wireless earbuds solve different problems; they should not be ranked as interchangeable just because both have a discount.

The 26,250mAh Prime power bank was described in the 2025 roundup as having 300W maximum output, two 140W USB-C ports, and a 20W USB-A port; treat those as source-era specifications and confirm them on the product page before purchase. For a phone-only user, a compact charger or smaller battery may offer better value. Laptop users should check the USB-C Power Delivery profiles their computer accepts rather than relying on a headline wattage. Built-in cables are convenient but can be harder to replace if damaged. For wireless charging, verify phone, case, alignment, and Qi2 compatibility.
Large lithium-ion batteries are subject to airline and travel rules that can vary and change. Check the carrier’s current policy before taking a high-capacity bank on a trip.

A hub-and-sensor setup can be useful for a sensor-rich home, but account for setup complexity and compatibility. How to judge a Black Friday deal before paying
