Prices are unstable: Spigen pages showed $29.99 for the Thin Fit and a similar listing signal for Liquid Air, while Ringke Onyx showed pricing from $15.99 during August 2026 research. Those are not guaranteed current prices or proof of what a case cost in 2023.
What makes a Galaxy S23 case genuinely thin?
A thin case adds relatively little bulk to the 6.1-inch phone, slips into a pocket without much friction, and leaves the buttons, USB-C port, speakers, and cameras usable. Charging, magnets, cameras, and screen protectors
Wireless charging and PowerShare
Wireless charging means using the S23 on a compatible charging pad with the case still installed. Wireless PowerShare is the phone’s reverse wireless charging feature. The Galaxy S23 does not have the same built-in magnetic accessory system as an iPhone with MagSafe. Rings, metal plates, cards, and some mounts can interfere with wireless charging or PowerShare, so treat compatibility as something to verify rather than assume.
Camera protection
For most users, a case should surround the camera area and raise its perimeter above the camera surfaces when the phone is placed on a hard table. A very thin skin-style case may help prevent scratches but offer little protection against a direct camera-area impact. A raised lip is useful, but it cannot guarantee that the lenses will survive a fall.
Screen protectors
A moderate raised front edge can help keep the screen off a flat surface when placed face down, but it does not replace a screen protector. Before you buy: standard S23 compatibility checklist
- Select “Galaxy S23,” not S23+, S23 Ultra, or S23 FE. They have different dimensions and camera layouts, so cases are not interchangeable. Even a product collection labeled “S23 series” usually requires selecting the correct individual model. Spigen’s case collection separates these versions.
- Check the camera cutout and buttons. Confirm the listing is for the standard S23 and that the camera surround leaves the flash unobstructed.
- Check screen-protector compatibility. Use the case and protector makers’ fit notes, especially for edge-to-edge glass.
- Confirm your charging setup. If you use PowerShare or a magnetic mount, check the exact case and accessory combination.
- Review current price, stock, and returns. S23 cases may remain listed after newer phones launch, but regional availability and colors change.
If you own the S23 Ultra, look for a dedicated Ultra case instead. Its dimensions, camera arrangement, and S Pen use make it a separate fit category.
