Archive notice: This article covered Cyber Monday 2025 prices checked on December 1, 2025. Those offers and availability are no longer guaranteed as of August 18, 2026. Use the comparisons below as a historical deal snapshot and a guide to evaluating security-camera ownership costs.
The best choice depended less on the largest discount percentage than on five factors: indoor or outdoor use, subscription tolerance, smart-home compatibility, access to power, and whether recordings needed to stay local.
Best verified Cyber Monday 2025 security-camera deals
The strongest documented prices during the 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday period included the Ring Indoor Cam at $24.99, Eufy Indoor Cam E30 at about $50, Google Nest Cam Indoor (3rd Gen) at about $75, Baseus S1 Lite at $40, Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Battery at about $60, Google Nest Cam Outdoor (2nd Gen) at $120, Baseus S1 Pro two-camera system at $160, and Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 at about $140.

These were best verified prices seen during the Cyber Monday period, not guaranteed all-time lows. Retailers used different coupons, bundles, memberships, and availability windows. Indeed, PCWorld reported a Wyze Cam v4 two-pack at $38 on December 2, 2025—after Cyber Monday and reportedly below its event pricing.

Best deal by use case
Cheapest useful indoor camera: Ring Indoor Cam or Blink Mini 2K+
At $24.99 each, the Ring Indoor Cam and Blink Mini 2K+ were among the lowest-cost mainstream options in the PCWorld roundup. Ring made the most sense for an Alexa or Ring household; Blink was attractive for a simple, wired indoor camera.
The low purchase price was not the full cost. The cited 2025 coverage reported Ring event recording at $5 per month or $50 per year for one camera, while Blink’s single-camera plan was reported at $4 per month or $40 per year. Live viewing may remain available without a plan, but buyers should confirm which recording, detection, and history features are included before purchasing.
Best indoor camera without a required monthly fee: Eufy Indoor Cam E30 or S350
The Eufy Indoor Cam E30 at approximately $50 was the more budget-conscious local-storage choice. The Eufy Indoor Cam S350, listed at $79.98 after clipping a $10 coupon, offered a higher-end indoor option. Tom’s Guide also listed the S350 at $79 and described it as a local-storage-oriented camera.
“No subscription” does not mean “no additional cost.” You may need a microSD card, a hub, or optional cloud backup. Confirm whether person, pet, and other AI detections work without a subscription and whether recordings remain accessible remotely.
Best budget outdoor option: Baseus S1 Lite
The Baseus S1 Lite was listed at $40 and was a compelling low-price solar or outdoor candidate. However, deal listings did not consistently provide enough installation detail to establish that every version suited every climate. Before buying, verify the exact model’s weather rating, operating-temperature range, field of view, night performance, and app support.

Best outdoor camera for Ring users: Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Battery
At about $60, the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Battery fit households already using Ring and Alexa. Battery power simplified installation where no outlet was available, but charging frequency depends on motion activity, temperature, Wi-Fi conditions, and settings. A Ring plan may also be needed for event history and advanced features.
Best Google Home match: Nest Cam Indoor or Outdoor
The Nest Cam Indoor (3rd Gen) appeared at roughly $70–$75, while the Nest Cam Outdoor (2nd Gen) was listed at $120. These were natural choices for people already using Google Home and wanting alerts and camera controls in that ecosystem.
The trade-off was recurring service dependence. The cited coverage reported Google Home Premium at $10 per month for richer features and reported that the indoor model lacked local storage. That historical plan price equals $360 over three years before tax, although plan pricing and terms may have changed.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsBest solar-oriented system: Reolink 4K solar camera, EufyCam 3, or Baseus S1 Pro
Tom’s Guide listed a Reolink 4K solar camera at $97 and the EufyCam 3 at $129. The EufyCam 3 included 16GB built-in storage and could expand through HomeBase 3, according to the cited coverage. PCWorld listed the two-camera Baseus S1 Pro system at $160 and reported a 16GB NAS.
Solar reduces charging but does not make a camera maintenance-free. Shade, short winter days, cloudy weather, panel angle, and frequent motion events can reduce available power. A solar camera still needs a reliable Wi-Fi signal and may stop communicating if the router or hub loses power.
Best floodlight camera: Eufy Floodlight Cam E340
The Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 was listed at approximately $140 by PCWorld and $160 by WIRED, compared with a reported $220 reference price in WIRED’s coverage. It used a 3K wide-angle lens and 2K telephoto lens, offered up to 8× zoom, 360-degree pan, 120-degree tilt, and up to 2,000 lumens.
Floodlights can make nighttime footage more useful than resolution alone suggests, but placement matters. Glare can wash out video or annoy neighbors, and the light should not point directly into nearby windows.
Best multi-camera value: Compare the system, not just the camera count
The Baseus S1 Pro two-camera system at $160 and EufyCam 3 two-camera kit at $350 from Amazon were notable historical system prices. A kit can be cheaper than buying several cameras separately, but check whether it includes the hub, storage, mounting hardware, batteries, and the exact number of cameras advertised.

- 📶 【Easy Setup & Dual-Band WiFi – 2.4GHz & 5GHz Support】 Supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi for a more stable and faster connection, reducing lag and disconnection issues. With a user-friendly setup process, you can get your camera up and running in minutes via the app—no technical skills required.
For larger properties, Reolink and Lorex systems may be better suited to NVR-based local recording, though setup is generally more involved than an app-only camera.
Best renter-friendly choice
Renters generally benefit from wired indoor cameras, battery outdoor cameras, or doorbell models that do not require permanent wiring. Blink, Ring, Wyze, and Eufy offered compact options in the cited deal coverage. Before mounting anything outdoors, check lease rules and avoid drilling or recording areas where neighbors reasonably expect privacy.
Best pet or baby-monitoring choice
A wired indoor pan-and-tilt camera is usually more practical than a battery model for continuous room monitoring. Wyze Cam Pan v3 was listed at $24.98, while Wyze Cam Pan v4 appeared at $49 in Tom’s Guide’s no-subscription-oriented coverage. For a nursery or pet room, prioritize stable power, quiet pan/tilt operation, privacy controls, and clear night footage over the highest advertised resolution.

|---|---|---|
| Ring: $5/month for one camera | $180 | Event history, detection features, and multi-camera pricing |

These are historical prices reported in 2025 coverage, not current 2026 plan quotes. Recheck the manufacturer’s plan page before buying.
A $25 cloud-dependent camera can cost more over three years than a $50 camera that records locally. The better calculation is:
Total cost of ownership = camera price + required hub or storage + subscription fees + batteries or accessories.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →What “no subscription” really means
A no-monthly-fee camera may still require:
- A separately purchased microSD card.
- A proprietary hub or HomeBase.
- An NVR and hard drive.
- Manual storage management.
- Optional cloud fees for off-site backup.
- Acceptance that advanced detection or remote features may be limited.
MicroSD recording is inexpensive and simple, but the card is inside or near the camera and may be stolen or damaged. A hub or NVR centralizes storage and can support multiple cameras, but it adds cost and another device that needs power. Cloud storage is easier to recover if a camera is stolen, but it creates recurring costs and greater dependence on an outside service.

Wired versus battery
- Wired: Better for continuous availability and no recharging, but less flexible for renters or locations without an outlet.
- Battery: Easier to mount, but may require charging, miss events while asleep, or perform differently in cold weather.
- Solar: Reduces charging but depends on panel exposure, daylight, weather, and motion frequency.
- Floodlight: Improves visibility and may deter unwanted activity, but requires suitable power and careful positioning.
Weather and placement
Do not assume that an outdoor-looking product is suitable for every exposed location. Check the exact model’s IP or weather-resistance rating, temperature limits, mounting requirements, and whether its power adapter is also rated for outdoor use.
For a front door, prioritize a useful vertical view, package visibility, and a position that avoids capturing unnecessary private areas. A driveway may benefit from a wider view, better night performance, or 4K detail for digital cropping. A $25 indoor camera is not automatically suitable for either location.
Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

Confirm whether the camera supports 2.4-GHz, 5-GHz, or both networks. Outdoor cameras often need a stronger signal than an indoor camera near the router. Mesh Wi-Fi can help, but a camera may not roam between access points as reliably as a phone.
When the internet fails, a camera may remain powered but lose remote viewing and push notifications. Some cameras can continue recording to microSD, a hub, or an NVR; others rely more heavily on a cloud connection. If the router, hub, or camera loses power, local recording may also stop. Check the manufacturer’s outage behavior rather than assuming that “local storage” guarantees uninterrupted recording.
Resolution is not the same as useful surveillance
1080p is often sufficient for a room or a close doorway. 2K can improve detail at moderate distances. 4K helps with wide views and digital cropping, but it consumes more bandwidth and storage.
Lens quality, field of view, HDR, compression, lighting, night vision, placement, and detection accuracy can matter more than the resolution label. A poorly positioned 4K camera can produce less useful evidence than a well-placed 1080p camera with good lighting.
Smart-home compatibility and privacy
- Ring and Blink: Most natural for Alexa and Ring households, but cloud plans can reduce long-term value.
- Nest: Most natural for Google Home users, with subscription considerations and limited local-storage appeal.
- Eufy and Reolink: Attractive for buyers prioritizing local storage and fewer recurring fees.
- Wyze: Strong budget appeal, but check model-specific cloud requirements, app features, and support status.
- Arlo: Broad camera range and polished ecosystem, but recurring costs and premium hardware prices can affect total value.
- Lorex: Useful for wired and NVR installations, but less convenient for buyers seeking a simple app-only setup.
Verify compatibility model by model. A brand’s Alexa or Google support does not guarantee every video view, automation, or notification function. Use strong, unique account credentials and multifactor authentication where available. A software privacy mode is not the same as physically disconnecting a camera.

How to verify a surviving deal or replacement listing
- Confirm the exact model number, resolution, generation, and included accessories.
- Check whether the price applies to one camera, a two-pack, or a hub bundle.
- Recalculate the checkout price after coupons, membership discounts, shipping, and tax.
- Review the current subscription price and which features work without it.
- Confirm whether a microSD card, hub, NVR, solar panel, or battery is included.
- Check the return policy, warranty, seller identity, and current stock.
- Compare the retailer’s price with the manufacturer and at least one other major retailer.
- Remove expired “ends tonight” language from any archived or republished deal.
Historical retailer links can redirect to a newer model, a different seller, or an unavailable listing. Affiliate links may also generate a commission; the ranking should remain separate from the commission relationship.
Black Friday versus Cyber Monday: which was cheaper?
There was no universal winner. Many camera promotions began before Cyber Monday and continued through the weekend, while retailers changed prices, coupons, bundles, and inventory independently. Cyber Monday was a useful final comparison point, not proof of the lowest price of the year.
The reported $38 Wyze Cam v4 two-pack on December 2, 2025 illustrates the risk of assuming the event deadline marked the bottom. Buyers who did not need a camera immediately could sometimes benefit from waiting, but waiting also risked stockouts or losing a particular bundle.
The personal-finance verdict
For the lowest upfront cost, the historical $24.99 Ring Indoor Cam or Blink Mini 2K+ was difficult to beat—but only if the buyer understood the cloud-recording cost. For a lower recurring-cost indoor setup, Eufy’s E30 or S350 was more compelling, provided the buyer budgeted for storage and accepted local-recording trade-offs.
Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Battery was the practical ecosystem choice for Ring users, while Nest made the most sense for Google Home households. Solar systems such as the Reolink, EufyCam 3, and Baseus options were best evaluated by installation conditions rather than the word “solar.” For a driveway or backyard, the Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 offered a stronger lighting-and-coverage proposition than a basic indoor camera.
Ultimately, compare the two- or three-year ownership cost, storage method, power requirements, and ecosystem fit—not just the percentage-off badge.
