Whether the Beats Solo 4 are under $100 today depends on the retailer and the specific listing. The available price information does not confirm a live offer as of September 23, 2026, so don’t treat an older deal report as proof of today’s price. Beats lists the headphones at $199.99, and retailers have previously discounted them to around $99.99. At that sale price, they can be a good buy if you want lightweight on-ear headphones and don’t need active noise cancellation (ANC).
Before ordering, check that the listing is for a new pair sold by a retailer you trust, and note whether the advertised price is before tax. A $99.99 sticker price will usually put the checkout total above $100 once sales tax is added.
What to check before calling it a deal
Under-$100 Solo 4 promotions have appeared at major retailers, but past promotions do not establish current stock or pricing. Deal reports have also described local Costco markdowns and color-specific offers. Check the actual product page and checkout details rather than relying on a search-result headline or an old article.
- Price and tax: Confirm the current price in your delivery location. “Under $100” generally refers to the advertised price before sales tax; shipping may also affect the total.
- Condition and seller: Make sure the listing says new, not refurbished, open-box, or used. On a marketplace, check who sells and ships the headphones and what warranty applies.
- Color and stock: A markdown may apply to just one color or to local inventory. Pickup-only pricing is not the same as a broadly available online offer.
- Membership or other conditions: Check whether the price requires a Costco membership, app offer, coupon, or other qualification. Don’t assume AppleCare+ is included unless the exact listing says so.
A reported $99.99 promotion is about 50% below Beats’ $199.99 listed price, before tax. That is a useful comparison, not proof of an all-time low. Older deal coverage and user reports show that prices have sometimes gone lower, but those reports do not verify an offer available now. What the Solo 4 offer
The Solo 4 are compact, foldable on-ear wireless headphones, not over-ear headphones. Beats lists Bluetooth 5.3, compatibility with iOS and Android, and up to 50 hours of listening time per charge. Its Fast Fuel estimate is up to five hours of playback after a 10-minute charge. Actual battery life varies with volume and use.
They also support Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking on supported devices, and include built-in microphones for calls. For wired listening, Beats says they support lossless audio over USB-C or the included 3.5mm audio cable. That lossless claim is for a wired connection, not Bluetooth playback. The box includes a USB-C-to-USB-C cable and a 3.5mm cable; the USB-C power adapter is sold separately. The listed weight is about 217 grams (7.65 ounces). The main trade-off: no active noise cancellation
The Solo 4 do not include ANC or an ANC-style transparency mode. Their noise blocking is passive, provided by the fit and ear cushions. That can be enough for casual listening, but it is not the same as electronically reducing engine, office, or street noise. On-ear headphones also press against the ears, and comfort and isolation depend on fit. If you are sensitive to that pressure or want headphones for flights and noisy commutes, compare over-ear ANC models before buying.

Beats’ Apple-friendly features may appeal to iPhone users, including convenient pairing and Apple Find My support on compatible devices. The Solo 4 also support Android, with the Beats app and Find My Device features subject to device and software requirements. They are cross-platform Beats headphones, not AirPods; don’t assume every AirPods feature or behavior is included.

Is the price low enough?
- $79.99–$89.99: A strong price for a new pair from a reputable seller if the on-ear fit suits you and ANC is not a requirement.
- $99.99: A worthwhile sale against the $199.99 list price, but compare the after-tax total and nearby ANC options.
- $100–$120: A reasonable discount, though not necessarily urgent if you are flexible about brand or features.
- Above $120: Consider waiting for another promotion unless you specifically want the Beats design or ecosystem conveniences.
These are buying guidelines, not price-history guarantees. A price of $49.99 or less would be unusual based on the cited deal reports; verify that the item is new, the seller is legitimate, and the warranty applies before treating it as an exceptional bargain.
Who should buy—and who should compare first
Consider the Solo 4 under $100 if you want a light, compact pair, value long stated battery life, need both Bluetooth and wired listening, and are comfortable with on-ear headphones. They may suit students or occasional travelers who do not rely on ANC.

Compare other models first if noise cancellation, over-ear comfort, or strong isolation is essential. The Beats Studio Pro add over-ear cups, ANC, and transparency features, though they are larger and may cost more. Sony’s WH-CH720N is another over-ear ANC option. The Soundcore Q20i is a budget-oriented ANC alternative. Check each retailer’s current price: no specific current sale price for these alternatives is established here.

The Solo 4 can be a good buy around $99.99—and an especially appealing one below $90—if they are new, retailer-backed, and the on-ear fit works for you. But the available information does not verify that a sub-$100 offer is live today. Confirm the price, seller, condition, color, delivery or pickup terms, and warranty at checkout; choose an ANC model instead if blocking outside noise is part of the reason you’re shopping.
