The AUKEY EP-T10 true-wireless earbuds were advertised for $36 on Amazon in a deal roundup published January 18, 2021. The price required coupon code FZG7QUHK; Droid Life described it as $14 off the regular price. That offer is historical, not a deal readers should expect to claim today.
The original AUKEY earbuds deal
The featured item was the AUKEY EP-T10 True Wireless Earbuds with HiFi sound. According to Droid Life’s January 18, 2021 roundup, the earbuds cost $36 after applying FZG7QUHK on Amazon. The publisher described the discount as $14 off, implying a comparison price of about $50; that is the deal article’s stated comparison, not an independently verified price history.
Because the promotion dates from 2021, treat both the price and coupon as expired. The code is not a reliable route to a current discount, and no current stock, price, warranty, or retailer listing has been verified. Amazon pages can disappear or redirect, so an old product link would not establish that the same item is still available.
What the EP-T10 offered
The EP-T10 is a pair of Bluetooth true-wireless earbuds with a charging case. AUKEY documentation describes support for SBC and AAC audio, one 6 mm driver in each earbud, MEMS microphones, multifunction controls, and an operating range of roughly 10 metres (33 feet). The later manual lists Bluetooth 5.1; the earlier manual says Bluetooth 5.

AUKEY claimed up to seven hours of earbud listening time and specified a 400 mAh case that could recharge the earbuds three times. The case charges over USB-C and supports wireless charging. The package contents listed in the later manual include a USB-A-to-USB-C cable, three sizes of ear tips, three sizes of ear wings, and documentation. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not independent battery or sound tests. “HiFi” in the product description is not, by itself, evidence of superior sound quality.
Water resistance needs particular care. An older manual lists IPX5, while the later documentation cited here does not provide the same consistent specification set. IPX5, where applicable, means resistance to water jets under defined test conditions—not waterproofing, swimming protection, or permission to charge wet earbuds. Check the manual supplied with the specific unit rather than assuming every EP-T10 revision has identical protection.

Why the specifications do not line up perfectly
AUKEY’s manuals differ across revisions or markets. The older manual lists Bluetooth 5, sensitivity of 88 dB, about 1.5 hours to charge, a pair weight of 9 g, and IPX5 water resistance. The later manual lists Bluetooth 5.1, 94 dB sensitivity, about two hours for earbud charging, and a pair weight of 13 g. The available documentation does not establish which sheet applies to every unit or region, so these figures should not be combined into one definitive specification list. Should you buy an EP-T10 now?
Only consider a surviving listing if the seller is reputable, the price is compelling against newer earbuds, and the return policy gives you time to check both earbuds and the case. This is an older product, and lithium-ion batteries can lose capacity during years of storage—even when an item is sold as new old stock. Confirm whether the listing is new, refurbished, open-box, or used; whether the charging case and accessories are included; and whether the seller actually provides warranty coverage.
Also verify that the model is EP-T10, not a similar-looking AUKEY product, and check the manual included with the unit for its specifications. Avoid paying a premium based on the old $36 deal, and do not assume the 2021 coupon, a warranty, replacement parts, or manufacturer support remains available. If battery condition or returns are unclear, a newer model with a clear seller and warranty is usually the safer purchase.

AUKEY products were reported as disappearing from Amazon in 2021, but that secondary reporting does not establish a definitive current status for every product or seller. It is another reason to verify any present-day listing rather than treating the archival deal as proof of availability.
