The $69 Walmart price is a real historical promotion, but it should not be treated as a live deal without checking the product page and checkout. The latest accessible indexed Walmart listing showed the standard Apple AirPods 4 at $99, down from Walmart’s displayed $129.99 comparison price. Apple lists the standard model at $129.
That distinction matters: this is the regular AirPods 4 with a USB-C charging case and no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). At $69 it would be an exceptional buy; at $99 it remains a meaningful discount for iPhone users, provided the listing is new and sold by Walmart or another trusted seller.
Is the $69 AirPods 4 deal still available?
The $69 price was reported during Walmart’s late-2025 Black Friday promotions by Tom’s Guide and TechRadar. Those reports establish that Walmart offered the earbuds at that price during a limited promotion, but they do not confirm that the same price is available now.

A $69 offer could also be limited to Walmart+ members, a particular promotion, a local pickup location or a specific seller. It might instead apply to restored, open-box or used stock. Always verify the final cart price and product condition before paying.

Walmart’s listing displayed a $129.99 comparison price, while Apple’s official buying page lists the standard AirPods 4 at $129. These are different reference prices, so the Walmart “was” price should not be presented as Apple’s official price. Taxes, shipping, membership requirements and coupons can also affect the amount you ultimately pay.

IP54 is not a waterproof rating. It indicates resistance to dust and splashing or sweat, not protection from submersion.
What you do not get at $69 or $99
The standard AirPods 4 do not include Active Noise Cancellation or Transparency mode. They also use an open fit rather than interchangeable silicone ear tips, so they provide less physical isolation than sealed earbuds.
Apple sells a separate AirPods 4 with ANC model for $179. That version is the better choice for frequent flyers, commuters and anyone who specifically wants noise reduction or Transparency mode. It should not be confused with the standard AirPods 4 deal.

Check these details before ordering
- Read the full product name. It should say Apple AirPods 4, without “with Active Noise Cancellation” if you want the standard model.
- Select “New.” Do not use a restored, open-box or used offer when evaluating the new-product deal. The indexed Walmart page also showed a separate “Restored: Like New” option at $95.
- Inspect the seller and fulfillment line. The strongest indexed listing said “sold and shipped by Walmart.com.” Marketplace offers can have different return, warranty and authenticity considerations.
- Check the price in your cart. Confirm whether $69 or $99 remains available after selecting your location, delivery method and membership status.
- Review shipping, pickup and returns. Inventory and terms can vary by ZIP code, and electronics may have specific return conditions.
- Keep your records. Save the order confirmation and packaging. After delivery, you can check the serial number through Apple’s support and coverage tools, without assuming that every marketplace listing has identical warranty treatment.
Are AirPods 4 a good value for you?
Buy at $69 if the listing checks out
At $69, new standard AirPods 4 from Walmart or another clearly identified, trusted seller would be an unusually strong discount from Apple’s $129 price. Buy only if the checkout price is real, the condition is new and you are comfortable with an open-fit design and no ANC.

$99 is not as dramatic as the historical $69 promotion, but it is still $30 below Apple’s standard price. For an iPhone owner who wants Apple’s pairing, switching, Find My and Siri conveniences, that is a reasonable buy—assuming the seller and condition are satisfactory.
Wait at $129
At Apple’s regular $129 price, you are paying standard list price rather than receiving a time-sensitive discount. Buying direct from Apple can make sense if you value direct support or engraving, but Walmart is the better value when its new-product price is genuinely lower.

Choose the ANC model for noisy environments
If you regularly travel, commute or work in loud places, the extra cost of AirPods 4 with ANC may be justified. The $179 Apple model adds ANC and Transparency mode; the standard AirPods 4 cannot provide the same noise-control features.

AirPods 4 are primarily designed for people using an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Apple devices support conveniences such as one-tap pairing, automatic switching, Find My, audio sharing, Siri controls and personalized audio features when the hardware and software are compatible.
Basic Bluetooth audio can work with other devices, including Android phones, but the complete Apple experience is not guaranteed. Features also depend on the device, operating-system version, region and language. Apple Intelligence features, including supported Live Translation capabilities, require compatible hardware and software and should not be assumed to work on every iPhone or with every AirPods feature.

Android-only shoppers should compare the AirPods’ price with earbuds designed for Android controls and broader cross-platform support. The AirPods 4 discount is most compelling when you already use Apple devices.
