Amazon expanded its low-price Haul shopping experience to 25 countries and regions by November 2025, removed its beta label globally, and marked the expansion with a two-day promotion featuring $1 products and selected $0.11 “hidden treasures.” The move positioned Amazon more directly against Temu and SHEIN as changes to low-value import rules increased pressure on cross-border bargain shopping.
The promotion ran on November 10–11, 2025. It was not an ongoing sale, and the fees, delivery promises, availability, and tariff conditions described below may have changed since then.
What Amazon Haul is
Amazon Haul is a dedicated low-price storefront for small-ticket merchandise, rather than a normal Amazon search filter. In the United States, Haul products are priced at $20 or less, with most priced below $10. Categories include apparel, home and lifestyle products, beauty, electronics, toys, jewelry, and household goods.
Customers can access Haul through the Amazon Shopping app or at amazon.com/haul. Haul has its own search, cart, and checkout experience, so shoppers should not assume that Haul items will combine with ordinary Amazon orders or receive standard Prime treatment.

That separate shopping flow is important. Amazon is pursuing a discovery-oriented, bargain-focused experience associated with Temu and SHEIN, not simply adding another price filter to its conventional marketplace.
How far Haul expanded
Amazon said Haul was available in 25 countries and regions by November 2025. The company continued using the Haul name in markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and Australia.
In Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, Amazon used the Amazon Bazaar name. Amazon also announced a standalone Bazaar app for 14 additional destinations: Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Nigeria.

Amazon also said its Haul selection had grown by nearly 400% in one year to more than 1 million items priced below $10. Those are company-reported catalog figures, not an independently audited measure.

What the November 2025 shopping event offered
Amazon’s anniversary promotion ran on Monday and Tuesday, November 10–11, 2025:
- November 10: tens of thousands of products priced at $1.
- November 11: selected “hidden treasures” priced at $0.11.
The event included apparel, home and garden, jewelry, health and household products, beauty, electronics, toys, and games. The prices were limited-time promotional offers, not standard Haul pricing and not an evergreen deal for 2026.

Using those November 2025 terms, a $12 order could attract the $3.99 delivery charge, while a $25 order would qualify for free delivery. A $50 order would qualify for the additional 5% discount, and a $75 order would qualify for the additional 10% discount.

Why Temu and SHEIN matter
Haul overlaps with Temu and SHEIN in several ways: low prices, very large catalogs, discovery-led shopping, and delivery windows that customers may accept in exchange for cheaper merchandise.
The competitive issue is therefore broader than Amazon selling inexpensive products. Amazon is trying to bring a format popularized by Chinese-origin platforms into its own marketplace, using its existing customer base, seller network, brand recognition, and logistics infrastructure.
That may appeal to shoppers who want bargain prices but prefer an Amazon-linked account, purchase-protection framework, and familiar U.S. return locations. It also creates a difficult trade-off: Amazon must offer prices low enough to compete while supporting fulfillment, returns, seller services, compliance, and customer expectations.

Tariffs, de minimis, and the possible fulfillment advantage
The U.S. low-value import debate matters because Temu and SHEIN have relied heavily on direct-to-consumer cross-border shipments. The previous de minimis framework—commonly discussed using an $800 threshold—allowed many qualifying low-value shipments to enter with simplified treatment and, in some circumstances, without ordinary duties.
Changes to that treatment increased pressure on direct-shipping models. The exact impact depends on the rule, effective date, product classification, exemptions, carrier arrangements, and enforcement. It is too broad to say simply that “the de minimis exemption ended” without identifying the specific government action involved.
Amazon may have a relative advantage if more Haul inventory is imported in larger commercial shipments and positioned in U.S. fulfillment facilities before a customer places an order. That approach could reduce reliance on individual parcels traveling directly from China to U.S. consumers.
It does not make Haul tariff-proof. Goods entering the United States still face applicable customs and tariff obligations. The available reporting does not disclose Haul’s complete sourcing mix or prove that all, or most, Haul products are domestically fulfilled. Import costs may be absorbed by sellers, passed to shoppers, or reflected in product pricing.
Amazon’s April 2025 statement also said a proposed idea to list import charges on certain Haul products was not approved and would not happen. That statement should not be read as proof that Haul products avoid import costs.

What Haul means for shoppers
Potential advantages
- Very low sticker prices.
- A broad selection across everyday categories.
- Free delivery when the order reaches the applicable threshold.
- Order-level discounts that encourage combining purchases.
- Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee where applicable.
- Access to familiar U.S. return drop-off networks for eligible purchases.
Important drawbacks
- Delivery is substantially slower than conventional Prime shopping.
- A small order below the free-delivery threshold may be less attractive after the fee.
- Low prices can encourage impulse purchases that are not actually needed.
- Quality, sizing, durability, materials, documentation, and seller service may vary.
- Promotional prices may be limited by time or quantity.
- Very cheap items may not qualify for free returns under the stated threshold.
Before buying, compare the complete order total—not just the item price—and check the delivery date, seller information, product specifications, reviews, safety warnings, and return eligibility. Haul is a poor fit for urgent purchases, safety-critical products, expensive electronics, or items where precise sizing and durability are essential.
What sellers and investors should watch
For sellers, Haul could provide access to highly price-sensitive shoppers and a separate discovery channel. But small-ticket products have little room for error. Fulfillment, storage, advertising, returns, import costs, product compliance, and customer-service expenses can consume a large share of a low selling price.
The model also intensifies competition among sellers. A larger catalog may increase customer discovery, but it can make price pressure and product differentiation harder. Sellers must account for customs classifications, import documentation, applicable duties, and product-safety requirements; Amazon’s Seller Central customs guidance is relevant to that process.

For investors and retail observers, the unresolved question is profitability. Amazon has the potential advantages of scale, customer trust, and domestic logistics. It also inherits the difficult economics of ultra-low-price retail: thin margins, high item counts, quality variation, returns, and regulatory exposure.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Ignoring shipping costs: A very cheap item may become less cheap when a sub-$25 delivery charge applies.
- Assuming Prime speed: Haul’s typical delivery window was one to two weeks under the cited U.S. terms.
- Confusing event prices with normal prices: The $1 and $0.11 offers were part of a November 2025 anniversary promotion.
- Assuming every return is free: Amazon’s stated terms included an eligibility threshold and a 15-day window.
- Assuming all markets work the same way: Haul and Bazaar availability, shipping, currency, and promotions are market-specific.
- Calling Amazon tariff-insulated: Domestic fulfillment may provide a relative advantage, but it does not erase import costs.
- Treating catalog claims as independent measurements: Figures such as more than 1 million items under $10 and nearly 400% growth came from Amazon.
Bottom line
Amazon Haul is a serious attempt to occupy the ultra-low-price segment dominated by discovery-focused platforms such as Temu and SHEIN. Its expansion to 25 countries and regions, regional Bazaar branding, and November 2025 promotional event show that Amazon views bargain shopping as a strategic category rather than a temporary experiment.
For consumers, Haul can make sense for non-urgent, low-risk purchases when the full order qualifies for favorable delivery and discount terms. Its long delivery window, separate checkout, variable seller quality, and changing fees mean that the sticker price alone is not enough. For Amazon, the larger test is whether it can preserve ultra-low prices while managing import costs, fulfillment, returns, compliance, and profitability.
