Important: These Alienware prices were reported for Dell’s Cyber Monday promotion on December 1, 2025. The promotion should be treated as expired in August 2026 unless Dell independently shows the same offer again. HotHardware reported discounts on three Aurora desktops, an Aurora 16 laptop, two monitors and a headset.
The standout desktop was an Aurora with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD for $1,449.99, or $350 off the advertised price. The largest advertised discount was $580 on an RTX 5070 Ti configuration.

The following prices and specifications come from HotHardware’s December 1, 2025 deal report. Dell’s advertised savings are not independently verified historical lows, and they were aimed at the U.S. market; taxes, shipping, stock and configurations can vary.

Which desktop was the best deal?
The RTX 5070 Ti Aurora appeared to be the performance leader at $1,549.99, with Dell advertising $580 in savings. However, calling it the best overall value requires caution. The listing included only 16GB of system memory and 1TB of storage, while the exact power supply, cooling and upgrade standards were not fully documented.

HotHardware reported that selecting the RTX 5070 Ti required an additional $50 upgrade and that moving from the base 500W supply to a 750W unit added $80. If both charges applied, the effective price would be approximately $1,679.99. That makes it the most compelling performance-oriented option among the listed desktops, not an automatic value winner. Dell’s “$580 off” was an advertised comparison, not proof that the system was $580 below the lowest recent market price.
The most balanced configuration: RTX 5060 Ti with 32GB
The featured Aurora paired a Core Ultra 7 265F (20 cores, 20 threads, up to 5.3GHz and 30MB of L3 cache) with an RTX 5060 Ti containing 8GB of VRAM, 32GB configured as 2×16GB DDR5-5200 and a 1TB SSD. It was listed at $1,449.99, with $350 in advertised savings.

For a prebuilt, 32GB of memory is a useful advantage over the 16GB systems in the roundup. The principal caveat is the 8GB graphics memory, which can become a constraint in demanding, high-texture or higher-resolution workloads. The system also used a 500W 80 Plus Platinum power supply. That is not necessarily an immediate defect, but it may limit a future move to a substantially more power-hungry graphics card. HotHardware reported a 750W upgrade for $80.

At $1,149.99, the RTX 5060 model was the lowest-priced Aurora desktop and carried an advertised $350 discount. Its Core Ultra 7 265F, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage make it the budget choice among these Alienware systems.

The source did not provide game benchmarks, target resolutions or details of the exact RTX 5060 implementation. Therefore, treat it as a lower-cost, ready-to-use Alienware option rather than a guaranteed frame-rate recommendation. Its 16GB memory and unspecified power-supply details also make it less attractive as a long-term upgrade platform than the 32GB RTX 5060 Ti configuration.
Alienware Aurora 16 laptop
The Aurora 16 laptop was listed at $849.99, with Dell advertising $350 in savings. It included a Core Ultra 6 240H, GeForce RTX 5050, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.

This was an under-$900 Alienware-branded laptop offer, but the available report did not establish its screen resolution, refresh rate, battery capacity, weight, cooling behavior or sustained gaming performance. The 512GB drive may fill quickly once several modern games are installed. Laptop RTX graphics also do not necessarily perform like desktop versions with similar names, so buyers should verify the exact panel and performance specifications on any current listing.

What to check before buying an Aurora today
- Confirm the exact GPU. Make sure the checkout configuration has the advertised model and note whether it is a desktop or laptop GPU.
- Check power-supply wattage. The cited 500W-to-750W issue applies to the reported configuration, not automatically to every Aurora revision. Include the $80 upgrade when comparing the RTX 5070 Ti system.
- Verify memory and storage. Compare 16GB versus 32GB RAM and 512GB versus 1TB SSD capacity. Confirm whether additional drives or memory can be installed.
- Review component standardization. Alienware systems can use proprietary or less-standard internal parts. Check motherboard, cooling, case-clearance and replacement-part details for the exact model if future upgrades matter.
- Read the commercial terms. Confirm warranty coverage, return terms, delivery date, taxes, financing costs and any coupon restrictions. None of those current terms were verified in the 2025 deal report.
- Compare total value. Check similarly priced Lenovo Legion, HP Omen, Acer Predator, ASUS ROG, Corsair and custom-built systems. Alienware’s styling, one-vendor support and convenience may justify a premium, but maximum performance per dollar and standardized upgrades may favor alternatives.
Buyer-by-buyer verdict
- Lowest upfront price: The RTX 5060 Aurora was the entry point, but its 16GB memory and incomplete upgrade details deserve scrutiny.
- Best balance: The RTX 5060 Ti Aurora’s 32GB of RAM made it the most rounded listed configuration, provided 8GB of VRAM and the 500W PSU fit your plans.
- Highest gaming performance: The RTX 5070 Ti Aurora was the performance standout. Budget for the reported $80 750W PSU upgrade and remember that it still listed 16GB of system memory.
- Portability: The Aurora 16 was the only laptop deal and offered Alienware branding below $900, but its display, battery and sustained performance were not documented.
