Short answer: 365 Data Science’s “unlimited access until Nov. 21” promotion was legitimate, but it was a temporary campaign—not permanent free access. The 2024 campaign ran from Nov. 1 through Nov. 21, 2024, and a similar 2025 campaign ran from Nov. 6 through Nov. 21, 2025. Both ended at 8:00 a.m. UTC on the final day. As of the latest available information, there is no verified 2026 campaign, and the historical offer has expired.
The platform currently offers a limited Free Plan. It provides previews and selected learning materials, but full courses, exams, and certificates generally require a paid plan.
What was the 365 Data Science free-access offer?
The promotion gave registered users broad or full access to the 365 Data Science platform for a limited period. “Unlimited” meant unlimited use during the promotional window; it did not mean permanent ownership of the course library.

365 Data Science’s official 2024 announcement said the campaign included courses, structured career tracks, practical exercises, exams, and certificates of Achievement. Promotional coverage of the 2025 campaign described access to more than 115 courses, projects, interactive exercises, guided challenges, career paths, and certificates.

The offer was useful for testing the platform without immediately committing to a subscription. It was not, however, a shortcut to job readiness: 21 days is enough to sample a curriculum or complete a focused project, but not to become a fully qualified data scientist.

The official 2024 announcement contains an apparent date error: its opening wording refers to Nov. 1 to Nov. 2, while the rest of the announcement identifies the campaign as running through Nov. 21. The campaign’s stated period was Nov. 1–21, 2024.
Because the deadline was expressed in UTC, the cutoff could occur on Nov. 20 in some North American time zones. Anyone considering a future campaign should convert 8:00 a.m. UTC to their local time rather than waiting until the last minute.
What could learners study?
The campaign material covered a broad beginner-to-intermediate curriculum, including:
- Python, R, SQL, and Excel
- Statistics and probability
- Data cleaning and preprocessing
- Data analysis and visualization
- Machine learning and deep learning
- Natural-language processing
- Large language models and generative AI
- ChatGPT and AI chat applications
- Vector databases and tools such as LangChain and Pinecone
- Business analytics and career applications
- AI engineering and intelligent agents, highlighted in the 2025 campaign

Were projects, exercises, and exams included?
Yes. Campaign descriptions included hands-on projects, interactive exercises, guided challenges, career tracks, and exams. Those features made the promotion more valuable than simply opening a library of video lessons.

- Watching lessons demonstrates exposure to a topic, not mastery.
- Completing a project creates portfolio evidence, but does not equal professional experience.
- A platform certificate is not a university degree or a government-regulated license.
- Temporary access does not guarantee permanent access to every course, exam, download, or project page.
Were certificates really free?
Historically, the promotional announcement said certificates could be earned during the special free-access period. That should not be confused with the platform’s current Free Plan rules.
Current 365 Data Science help pages state that certificates are not included in the Free Plan. The platform says learners generally need Premium access and must pass the relevant exam with at least 60%. See the company’s explanations of certificate pricing, free courses and certificates, and certificate requirements.
365 Data Science describes its certificates as accredited and says they may include continuing-professional-education credits. Those are platform claims, not evidence that a certificate is equivalent to an academic qualification or universally recognized professional certification. A certificate may support a résumé, but it cannot replace a portfolio, relevant experience, or interview preparation.
Did the promotion require a credit card?
The current Free Plan is advertised as requiring no credit card. However, the available evidence does not establish every registration-screen requirement for the 2024 or 2025 promotional campaigns. Do not assume that a historical promotion had exactly the same signup process as the current Free Plan.
For any future offer, check the final registration screen carefully. Look for whether payment details are requested, whether a trial converts automatically into a paid subscription, the renewal interval, and the cancellation deadline. Never rely solely on a reposted promotional article.
How to use a short free-access window effectively
Opening dozens of courses is an easy way to waste a three-week campaign. A better approach is to choose one outcome and work backward.
- Pick a goal. For example, learn SQL for analytics, build a Python data project, or understand the fundamentals of machine learning.
- Choose one career track. Avoid jumping among unrelated courses simply because the entire catalog is temporarily open.
- Start with the foundation. Complete the introductory lessons required for your chosen track before moving to advanced AI topics.
- Finish at least one project. Save your notes, code, charts, and a short explanation of the problem and result.
- Use the practice exam first. If the promotion includes certificate eligibility, prepare with the practice material before attempting the graded exam.
- Save permitted evidence before access ends. Record course titles, completion dates, project links, and any certificate that the campaign rules allow you to retain.
Do not treat three weeks as enough time to become job-ready. Treat it as a low-risk evaluation period and a chance to produce one measurable piece of work.
What happens after Nov. 21?
When a temporary full-access campaign ends, the account should no longer be treated as having unlimited access. Current plan information indicates that users can continue with the ordinary Free Plan or subscribe to a paid plan.

The current Free Plan includes course previews, selected projects and exercises, practice exams, learning resources, career resources, and one AI mock interview. It does not provide the full catalog or free certificates, according to the platform’s plan comparison and certificate documentation.
As observed on Aug. 18, 2026, the pricing page displayed a Free Plan at $0 per month. It also displayed Self-Study at $29 per month when billed annually and a $36 monthly figure. The same page listed course access, projects, career tracks, exams, certificates, AI mock interviews, community features, and portfolio feedback among paid-plan features. Prices and inclusions can change by billing frequency, location, taxes, currency, and promotion, so verify the checkout total before paying.
A Lifetime option was advertised, but no public price was displayed; the page directed prospective buyers to contact 365 Data Science. Do not assume a lifetime price from an old article or an unofficial listing.

If you subscribe after testing the platform, check whether billing is monthly, quarterly, or annual and note the renewal date. The platform’s cancellation guidance says cancellation stops automatic renewal, while access generally continues through the already-paid period. Annual subscribers retain access for 365 days after the last payment before the account falls back to the Free Plan.
From a budgeting perspective, do not subscribe merely to preserve access to a certificate you may not finish. First confirm the exam requirement, certificate eligibility, renewal terms, and whether the project work you care about remains available after cancellation.
Is 365 Data Science worth considering?
It is most likely to suit complete beginners, analysts adding Python or SQL, career changers who want a structured curriculum, and learners who prefer self-paced video lessons with exercises and projects. The temporary promotion was a sensible way to test that learning style before spending money.
It may be a poor fit for someone who needs live teaching, intensive accountability, extensive instructor feedback, a university qualification, or advanced research-level material in areas such as distributed systems. A certificate alone also should not be expected to substitute for a portfolio or work experience.
The sensible financial decision is to use a future free campaign—or the current Free Plan—to evaluate the teaching style and complete a small project first. Pay only if the full catalog, exams, certificate pathway, and career tools justify the recurring cost for your specific goal.
How to verify a future Nov. 21 offer
- Start at the official 365 Data Science domain, not an unfamiliar coupon or reposting site.
- Confirm the year, opening date, closing date, and exact timezone.
- Read whether “unlimited” means full platform access only during the promotional period.
- Check the campaign’s certificate rules separately from the ordinary Free Plan rules.
- Review whether a card is required and whether any paid renewal is automatic.
- Save the terms and your completion records before the cutoff.
