What Winman does

Winman supplies tools for income-tax, GST and TDS returns as well as financial-statement preparation. Tax computation, return preparation, electronic filing and amended returns are included across the product range.

CA-ERP is built for CA practices. It handles ITR work, audit reports and balance sheets. GST supports listed GSTR filings and reconciliation, while TDS covers computation, online returns, TRACES tools and quarterly statements.

Fees and plans

Winman has no free plan. Users may run the software without charge for 30 days, after which a license and registration are required. A 30-day trial is published.

The price list shows Winman GST at ₹9,470 one-time, with ₹4,740 also shown under an amount after 25% discount. Winman TDS is listed at ₹13,300 one-time, with ₹7,490 shown after 25% discount. An additional TDS license is listed at ₹3,600, or ₹1,660 in the discounted column.

Winman CA-ERP is listed at ₹14,830 one-time, with ₹11,120 shown after 25% discount. An additional CA-ERP license is listed at ₹2,420, or ₹1,810 in the discounted column. The price list notes a special discounted price for Winman CA-ERP license holders.

Where it runs

Winman lists Linux, macOS and Windows computers as supported platforms. For installation, it offers an express installer for connected machines and a full setup package for computers that are offline.

Protection, as Winman describes it

Winman's privacy policy says sensitive data exchanged between its site and users uses an SSL-secured channel protected with digital signatures.

For CA-ERP, Winman lists password protection, auto-save, periodic three-way automatic backups, finalization locks and cloud data saving. It also says downloaded application files carry digital signatures and are scanned by four antivirus programs.

Strengths

Income tax, GST and TDS work is handled across the same product family, including electronic filing and amended returns.

CA-ERP imports Tally trial balances along with 26AS, AIS, TIS, Form 16 PDFs, ITR/3CD JSON, broker spreadsheets and other listed data. GST can take input from Excel, Tally and JSON.

Winman says its in-product Query Manager resolves most questions within a maximum of 10 minutes and permits escalation.

Catches to check

There is no ongoing free plan. Once the 30-day period ends, continued access depends on a paid license and registration. Published prices are one-time amounts, and some products show separate additional-license charges.

The listed products are desktop downloads. Check that your computer uses one of the stated operating systems and that the needed filing forms, imports and license count match your practice.

Who may want something else

Winman is aimed at CA offices and users handling professional tax-return work. It may not fit someone seeking a consumer tax app, a browser-only service or a phone-based filing tool.

CA practices needing desktop software for income tax, GST and TDS preparation, filing and financial statements may find Winman suitable, especially when importing common tax and accounting files. The trial provides time to evaluate the software before payment, while continued use is licensed and the products are not presented as free or mobile services.

Its scope may be too specialized for an individual filer who wants a browser or phone workflow. Buyers should compare the one-time product price, any additional licenses and the operating-system requirement with the work their office handles.
