For a valid comparison, check the listing after selecting the model options. Amazon product pages can present different storage capacities, glass types, connectivity choices, conditions and sellers under one page. A headline price may apply to a different variant, require an on-page coupon, or reflect a seller’s reference price rather than Apple’s original price. Taxes, shipping and any cellular plan can also affect what you ultimately pay.
How the M4 compares with the current 13-inch M5
Apple’s current store page identifies the 13-inch iPad Pro as an M5 model and lists storage configurations through 2TB. Consider it if you will use its premium features
- 2TB storage: Useful for large video projects, photo libraries, design files, sample libraries or substantial offline media collections.

Look at a less expensive configuration if you do not

How to decide between the M4, M5 and a cheaper iPad
- Buy the M4 if the exact new configuration is available from a seller you trust, the final price is verified and clearly below the comparable M5, and you will use the storage, glass or cellular features.
- Compare with the M5 if the price gap is modest or you place greater value on buying the current generation. Compare like with like: a 2TB cellular nano-texture M4 should not be judged against a base-storage Wi‑Fi M5.
- Choose less storage or a less expensive iPad if your actual use is light and you can store most large files elsewhere. Paying for unused capacity is not a saving, even when a discount percentage looks impressive.
