- Write the harmony MIDI. Copy the lead rhythm, change the notes to fit the chord progression, and remove lines that create awkward low or high passages. Do not assume an AI voice will choose musically correct chord tones automatically.
- Render each harmony separately. Use the same lyric text when the words match, then export the parts as separate audio files or stems where the tool supports it.
- Edit timing and expression. Check consonants, held vowels, pitch transitions and vibrato. Offset doubled consonants slightly in your DAW if the blend sounds crowded.
- Balance the stack. Keep the lead centered and lower the harmony parts until they support the lyric. Pan or widen only after the timing and pitch are clean.
