As of August 16, 2026, a realistic Apple iPhone 6s price in Pakistan is about Rs. 9,000–22,000 for a used PTA-approved phone. A functional 64GB model in reasonable condition will often make the most sense around Rs. 10,000–18,000, depending on battery health, original parts, storage, and seller protection.
Some specification websites show much higher figures. WhatMobile lists Rs. 47,999, while PriceOye shows Rs. 24,500 but marks the model discontinued. These are reference or residual retail listings—not dependable indicators of the normal second-hand price. WhatMobile also warns that its price information may be inaccurate.

OLX Pakistan listings have shown advertised prices roughly from Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 21,999 for used and refurbished PTA-approved examples. These are asking prices, not verified completed-sale prices, and may be negotiable. View OLX listings.
What determines the price?
- PTA status: A verified PTA-approved phone is worth substantially more than a non-PTA or carrier-locked device for most Pakistani buyers.
- Storage: The iPhone 6s came in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB versions. Apple’s model guide confirms these capacities.
- Battery: Battery Health is useful, but a displayed percentage does not prove that the battery is original or healthy under real use.
- Parts and repairs: An aftermarket display, broken Touch ID, motherboard repair, weak cellular reception, or poor charging port can reduce value sharply.
- Physical condition: Cracks, screen lift, dents, camera haze, and damaged buttons all affect the fair price.
- Seller and location: A reputable seller offering testing, a return window, or a short warranty may justify paying more than an informal listing.
Which storage version should you buy?
16GB is generally poor value in 2026. It leaves very little practical space for iOS, photos, messages, and applications. A 32GB model is usable for light use but remains restrictive.

64GB is the practical minimum for most buyers. Choose 128GB if the price difference is reasonable and the phone is genuine and in better condition. Do not pay a storage premium for a device with a weak battery, non-original display, broken Touch ID, unclear PTA status, or motherboard repair.
PTA-approved, non-PTA, and JV explained
A PTA-approved phone has an IMEI accepted or registered for normal local cellular use in Pakistan. A non-PTA phone may work over Wi-Fi but can be restricted from using a Pakistani SIM after applicable registration or grace-period rules.

JV is a market term commonly used for phones with carrier or SIM restrictions. It is not a guarantee of factory-unlocked status and may involve unofficial workarounds. Always test the phone with your own SIM and confirm whether it is factory unlocked.

How to check PTA status before payment
- Dial
*#06#to display the phone’s IMEI. - Compare it with the IMEI under Settings > General > About and, where applicable, around the SIM-tray area or packaging.
- Check the exact IMEI through PTA’s Device Verification System or another official PTA verification route.
- Verify every relevant IMEI if the device presents more than one.
- Insert your own SIM and test calls, SMS, mobile data, and hotspot service.
- Before final payment, have the seller sign out of Apple Account, disable Find My, erase the phone, and let you activate it with your own Apple Account.
iPhone 6s specifications that matter in 2026

The iPhone 6s may still handle calls, SMS, Wi-Fi, music, basic photography, light browsing, and hotspot use. However, app compatibility depends on each developer’s minimum iOS requirement. Check the current requirements for essential banking, government, ride-hailing, education, and business apps before buying; do not assume every current app will install or remain supported.

Screen and body
- Check cracks, dead pixels, yellowing, touch dead zones, ghost touch, and screen lift.
- Ask whether the display was replaced and whether it is original.
Touch ID and controls
- Test Touch ID repeatedly.
- Test the Home, volume, mute, and Sleep/Wake buttons.
- Be cautious if a repaired or replaced Home button has lost Touch ID functionality.
Cameras, battery, and charging
- Test front and rear cameras, autofocus, flash, video, and image stabilization.
- Check Settings > Battery > Battery Health, but also test for rapid drain, overheating, and unexpected shutdowns.
- Charge with a known-good cable and inspect the Lightning port.
- Ask about battery replacement and any battery-service message.
Network and audio
- Test your SIM, calls, SMS, mobile data, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and hotspot.
- Test the earpiece, loudspeaker, microphone, voice recording, and the intended audio route.
Ownership protection
- Do not buy a phone that remains linked to another Apple Account.
- Do not complete the purchase until Find My is disabled and the erased phone activates without the seller’s credentials.
What is a fair price?
- Rs. 8,000–10,000: Consider only if PTA status is verified and every major function works. Expect compromises.
- Rs. 10,000–15,000: A reasonable target for a basic used PTA-approved unit.
- Rs. 15,000–20,000: Should generally buy a cleaner 64GB or 128GB example, stronger battery, or better cosmetic condition.
- Above Rs. 20,000: Demand unusually good condition, higher storage, warranty, or a reputable seller—and compare newer phones.
- Rs. 47,999: Treat this WhatMobile figure as a listed reference price, not a normal used-market benchmark.
Should you buy an iPhone 6s in 2026?
Buy it if you need an inexpensive secondary phone, a simple device for calls and messaging, or a low-cost introduction to iPhone hardware—and you accept iOS 15-era limitations.

It may also suit a child or elderly user if the essential apps work and the battery is healthy. A verified PTA-approved unit near Rs. 10,000–15,000 can be reasonable for that role.
Avoid it as a primary phone for several years, especially if you depend on current banking or government apps, need long software support, want strong battery life, or are paying close to the price of a much newer used phone. A “box pack” or “new” claim should come with verifiable warranty and provenance; old stock is not automatically new in practical condition.

Alternatives to compare
Before paying Rs. 20,000 or more, compare the total cost with a used iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 8 or 8 Plus, or possibly an iPhone X with clear battery and repair history. Current budget Android phones may offer newer software, better battery life, and easier app compatibility. Their prices are not included here because they require a separate, dated market check.
Where to shop and verify
OLX is useful for local price discovery and negotiation, but listings can contain inaccurate condition claims, mismatched IMEIs, activation locks, or repaired parts. Daraz offers a more structured marketplace experience in some cases, but “like new” wording does not prove original parts or a strong battery.
