The prices were real, but they are not current deals. MacRumors reported on October 7, 2025, during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, that selected Apple and Beats cases for the iPhone 17 family reached tracked record lows. The lowest reported Apple price was $29 for the iPhone Air Bumper, while Apple Clear and Silicone Cases fell to $37 and select TechWoven Cases to $44.
Because that promotion ended in 2025, shoppers should treat the figures below as historical benchmarks—not guaranteed prices in September 2026. Check the retailer’s live listing, exact phone-model variant, seller, delivery date, and return terms before buying.
Historical Prime Day prices at a glance
MacRumors described these as new all-time or “best-ever” prices based on its deal tracking. That wording does not prove that every retailer, coupon, clearance sale, open-box listing, or regional promotion was never cheaper.

Choosing between Apple’s case types
Clear Case
Choose it if you want the phone’s design and color to remain visible and prefer a relatively unobtrusive case. It may offer less grip and less substantial protection than a rugged design. Anecdotal discussion about how much of the phone’s rear color remains visible is not a substitute for testing.
Silicone Case
Silicone is the better fit if a softer touch and additional grip matter more than transparency. It can attract lint and show wear, and its material alone does not establish a particular drop-protection rating.

TechWoven Case
TechWoven is aimed at buyers who prefer a fabric-textured finish. It cost more than the Clear and Silicone Cases even at the historical sale price, and fabric-like surfaces may be harder to clean. Do not assume iPhone 17 cases fit every iPhone 17
Case compatibility is model-specific. An iPhone 17 case should not be assumed to fit an iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, or iPhone Air. Dimensions, camera openings, buttons, and magnetic alignment can differ. Before paying, select the exact model from the product page’s variant menu and confirm that the description names your phone.

How to check whether a deal is actually worthwhile now
- Open the live listing: Compare the current price with the historical benchmark, not just the displayed list price.
