The headline refers to a The Brick Black Friday promotion reported on November 26, 2021—not a live deal. That sale listed selected TVs at discounts of up to $800, but the advertised prices are historical Canadian-dollar prices and should not be treated as current. The Brick’s 2026 Black Friday preview does not confirm that the same TV deals or models will return.
The 2021 TV deals and advertised prices
MobileSyrup reported the following prices and savings during The Brick’s 2021 Black Friday promotion. These figures document that historical sale; they do not establish current availability or whether each advertised saving represented the lowest market price.

MobileSyrup’s November 2021 report is the source for the list and advertised discounts. Product descriptions in the report do not supply exact model numbers for every set, so shoppers comparing old listings should verify the precise model rather than rely on brand, size and series name alone.
Which deals stood out?
- Largest advertised saving: The 65-inch Samsung QLED was listed at $2,499.96 after an $800 reduction. The discount was the largest in dollars, but the final price was also the highest on the list.
- Big screen with almost the same discount: The 75-inch Sony Bravia was listed for $1,999.95, with a claimed $799 saving. That is a lower final price and a larger screen than the Samsung 65-inch QLED, but screen size alone does not establish better picture quality or value.
- Lowest entry price: The 40-inch RCA was $199.95. It was also the smallest and lower-resolution option in the list, so it suited a different need from the 4K large-screen models.
- Lower-cost large-screen option: The 58-inch Samsung TU7000 was listed at $749.95. The 70-inch Samsung and LG sets were each listed at $999.95, with $200 off.
- Design-led choice: The 55-inch Samsung The Frame was listed at $1,499.95 after $500 off. Its appeal should be weighed against its price, features and design—not judged by discount percentage or screen size alone.
These are comparisons among advertised prices, not independent product tests or proof that any set was the best-priced option in Canada. The source does not establish picture performance, the quality of each TV’s HDR implementation, or the market price at competing stores.

What “up to $800 off” means
“Up to” identifies the largest advertised reduction on selected products; it does not mean every TV received an $800 discount. In this 2021 list, claimed savings ranged from $150 to $800. The final price, the exact model and the features that matter to you are more useful comparison points than the headline maximum.
The wording has appeared in later campaigns, too. A 2025 The Brick email advertised up to $800 off big-screen televisions for November 21–27, 2025. That is evidence of a separate promotion, not confirmation that the 2021 prices, products or terms carried forward—or that the same offer is active in 2026. The archived 2025 campaign also described its own financing and eligibility conditions, which should not be assumed to apply to another year.

What is confirmed for The Brick’s 2026 Black Friday event?
The Brick’s 2026 Black Friday preview signals a planned holiday event, but it does not verify a repeat of the 2021 “up to $800 off” TV promotion or list those historical models as 2026 offers. The retailer’s current indexed TV-promotion page advertises up to $700 off select big-screen televisions instead. Promotions and stock can change, so check the live product page and your local store before making a purchase.
The 2026 preview says purchases made on or after October 23, 2026 may qualify for a holiday price guarantee if the identical item is advertised for less before the end of the year. The preview describes requirements including the same brand and model, a new item available locally, Canadian-dollar pricing, an authorized retailer and standard warranties. It excludes certain offers such as limited-quantity, limited-time, discontinued, exclusive, auction, aggregator, membership and pricing-error deals. It also calls for keeping the invoice and providing proof of the lower price; its page describes claims beginning December 27 for Boxing Day reductions and up to 30 days after the original purchase. The holiday guarantee is advertised through January 1, 2027.

Those are campaign-specific terms, not a blanket promise that every competitor price qualifies. The Brick’s general price-guarantee page describes a 30-day guarantee subject to conditions. Read the terms applicable to your purchase and ask the retailer to confirm eligibility; do not assume the general policy and seasonal preview have identical claim rules.

- Exact model number: Similar product names can refer to sets with different panels, ports or features. Compare the same model across retailers.
- Display and picture specifications: Check whether the panel is LED, QLED, OLED or mini-LED, and look up native refresh rate, brightness and supported HDR formats. “4K” alone says little about overall picture performance.
- Gaming features: If you use a current console or gaming PC, verify native 120Hz support, HDMI 2.1 ports and variable-refresh-rate support for that exact model. Do not infer them from a 4K label.
- Smart-TV platform: Confirm that the apps you use are supported and that the interface and software support meet your needs.
- Total delivered cost: Include delivery, setup, mounting and old-TV recycling charges where applicable. A headline saving can shrink once those costs are added.
- Return and warranty terms: Check the current policy before opening or mounting a TV, especially because the available promotion information does not establish the current return rules for opened sets.
- Price history and alternatives: Compare the same model’s recent prices and consider delivery, warranty, return terms and any included extras. An advertised “regular price” by itself does not prove that a saving is unusually good.
- Financing cost: If considering a payment plan, review the total repayment amount and conditions—not only the monthly payment. The minimum purchase and financing terms in the 2025 email apply to that campaign only.
The Brick notes that online and in-store prices may differ, selection and availability can vary by location, quantities may be limited, and promotions may not combine with other discounts unless stated. Its promotion pages also say some offers may exclude online-only products and that prices and offers can change or contain errors. Check the exact listing and checkout total for your location rather than assuming the same price or stock everywhere.
