Short answer: Buy the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if its verified Indian price is below ₹35,000 and you want stronger performance, a sharper display and a more versatile camera system. Choose the Vivo V60e if you prioritise portraits and selfies, battery capacity, bundled accessories and IP68/IP69 protection.
Prices and stock are decisive here. Vivo’s official store listed the 8GB/128GB V60e at ₹31,999 against an MRP of ₹34,999, but that configuration was shown as out of stock when checked. Motorola’s current Indian price was not reliably exposed in the available official product information, so it should not be called an under-₹35,000 winner until the exact variant and live price are verified.
Price and availability: check this before comparing specifications
This comparison uses the price ceiling as an effective product price before exchange. Bank discounts, cashback and exchange bonuses should be listed separately because they depend on eligibility and the value of the old phone.

Vivo lists the V60e in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB versions. Do not compare an entry-level 128GB Vivo directly with a higher-storage Motorola without accounting for the difference. The V60e also has no microSD slot, making the 128GB model less attractive for large game libraries, offline video or extensive photo storage.

Design and durability
The Vivo V60e weighs 190g and is 7.49mm thick, with a plastic composite back and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Its IP68/IP69 rating is a useful advantage for dust and water resistance, but it does not make the phone waterproof or guarantee warranty coverage after liquid damage. Water resistance can also weaken after drops or repairs.

Both phones use curved displays, which can feel immersive but may produce reflections, accidental touches and higher repair exposure than a flat screen. A case and suitable screen protection are sensible for either model. Do not treat an IP rating as protection against drops, corrosion or careless submersion.
Display: Motorola wins on sharpness
The Edge 60 Pro should be the better choice for text, photos and high-resolution video because its 6.7-inch panel uses a 1220p-class resolution. Motorola identifies it as a 120Hz pOLED display.

The V60e has a slightly larger 6.77-inch AMOLED display at 2392 × 1080 and up to 120Hz. Vivo’s specification page lists 1,600 nits of local peak brightness, while a separate marketing page mentions a 5,000-nit peak-brightness claim. Those figures may refer to different test conditions; they should not be reduced to the statement that the phone is simply “5,000 nits bright.” Peak brightness is also not the same as sustained outdoor brightness.
Display verdict: Choose Motorola for sharper presentation and Vivo for the slightly larger screen. Check curved-edge reflections, PWM behaviour, HDR certification and streaming quality on the exact retail units if those details matter to you; the supplied specifications do not establish every one of them.
Performance and gaming
The Dimensity 8350 Extreme in the Edge 60 Pro is positioned above the V60e’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo. That gives Motorola the platform advantage for demanding games, sustained multitasking, emulation, video editing and heavier camera processing.
This is a chipset-based conclusion, not a claimed benchmark result. Actual gaming depends on cooling, software tuning, storage speed, game optimisation and the phone’s behaviour after sustained heat. The available evidence does not establish specific frame rates, throttling results, bypass charging support or game-specific graphics options, so those should not be assumed.
For casual gaming, social apps and everyday photography, the Vivo’s slower platform may be adequate. For long gaming sessions or a buyer who wants more performance headroom over several years, the Motorola is the safer choice.

Gaming verdict: Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
Camera comparison: versatility versus portrait focus
Vivo V60e: high-resolution main camera and selfie emphasis
Vivo gives the V60e a 200MP OIS main camera and a 50MP autofocus front camera. Its positioning emphasises portraits, close-up portrait modes and selfie use. OIS can help with camera shake in still photography, while autofocus is useful for selfies at different distances.
However, 200MP does not automatically mean better photos. The default output may use pixel-binning, and image quality also depends on sensor size, optics, dynamic range, shutter speed, processing and subject movement. The V60e’s 8MP ultrawide is a potential weakness, particularly compared with Motorola’s higher-resolution ultrawide hardware.
Motorola Edge 60 Pro: more useful focal lengths
The Edge 60 Pro combines a 50MP main camera with a 50MP ultrawide/macro camera and a dedicated telephoto camera. That gives it more practical framing options for distant subjects, portraits and travel photography. A telephoto lens can produce a more useful perspective than simply cropping a high-resolution main-camera image.
That does not prove Motorola produces better photos in every situation. Controlled samples would be needed to settle skin tones, night detail, moving-subject reliability, portrait cut-outs, stabilisation and video quality. Motorola’s advantage is best described as camera-system versatility, while Vivo’s advantage is its portrait and selfie-oriented hardware.
Camera verdict by use case
- Portraits and selfies: Vivo V60e is the more targeted choice, especially if its processing suits your preferred skin-tone rendering.
- Zoom and distant subjects: Motorola Edge 60 Pro, because it has a dedicated telephoto camera.
- Ultrawide photography: Motorola has the stronger specification with a 50MP ultrawide/macro camera versus Vivo’s 8MP unit.
- High-resolution main-camera output: Vivo, but 200MP alone is not proof of superior image quality.
- Overall flexibility: Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
Vivo lists 4K recording support, but the available material does not establish every front- and rear-camera recording limitation. Verify the exact video modes if vlogging is important.

Battery and charging: Vivo has the capacity advantage
The V60e has a 6,500mAh typical battery, with a listed rated capacity of 6,330mAh, and supports up to 90W charging. Vivo’s store specification lists a charger, cable, case and protective film in the box. This improves its effective value if the phone is bought at the normal package price.
Motorola lists a 6,000mAh battery and TurboPower fast charging. The exact Indian charging wattage and whether a charger is included should be confirmed on the retail listing before purchase.
The Vivo should have more endurance potential because of its larger battery, but capacity does not guarantee a particular screen-on time or an extra full day. Modem efficiency, display resolution, refresh-rate behaviour, software, signal strength and gaming load all affect battery life. Wireless charging, bypass charging and charging times should also be verified for the Indian variants rather than inferred from global documentation.
Battery verdict: Vivo V60e on paper; Motorola remains competitive if its software and hardware efficiency suit your usage.

The V60e runs Funtouch OS 15. Vivo’s India product material claims up to three major OS version updates and five years of security updates. That is a useful long-term-support promise, but it should be tied to the exact Indian model and does not guarantee that every update arrives quickly.

Motorola’s software is relatively clean compared with heavily customised Android interfaces, but it is not “stock Android.” Motorola adds gestures, Moto AI, Smart Connect, display controls and other proprietary tools. Its support manual documents these features and troubleshooting paths. Update duration and the current security-patch level should be checked on the Indian unit before buying, because global policies and regional model numbers can differ.
Choose Vivo if its camera tools, Funtouch features and stated support period matter more. Choose Motorola if you prefer a cleaner interface and useful cross-device tools without buying solely on the phrase “stock Android.”
Connectivity and practical hardware
Vivo lists dual nano-SIM support, 5G dual-SIM dual standby, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster and USB 2.0. It does not list eSIM support, wireless charging or expandable storage. The IR blaster is convenient for compatible home appliances, while USB 2.0 is less suitable for fast wired file transfers.

Which one should you buy?
| Your priority | Better choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming and demanding workloads | Motorola Edge 60 Pro | Higher-positioned Dimensity 8350 Extreme platform |
| Portraits and selfies | Vivo V60e | 200MP OIS main camera and 50MP autofocus selfie camera |
| Zoom and camera flexibility | Motorola Edge 60 Pro | Dedicated telephoto and higher-resolution ultrawide |
| Battery capacity | Vivo V60e | 6,500mAh typical battery |
| Bundled charging accessories | Vivo V60e | Store specification lists a charger and case |
| Display sharpness | Motorola Edge 60 Pro | 1220p-class curved pOLED panel |
| Clean software | Motorola Edge 60 Pro | Relatively light customisation, while retaining Motorola features |
| Durability specification | Vivo V60e | IP68/IP69 claim, subject to normal limitations |
| Equal pricing | Motorola Edge 60 Pro | More balanced performance, display and camera hardware |
Final verdict
Buy the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if its exact Indian variant is genuinely available below ₹35,000. It is the stronger all-rounder for performance, display sharpness, zoom, ultrawide photography and relatively clean software.
Buy the Vivo V60e if you value portraits and selfies, a larger battery, 90W charging, a bundled charger, IP68/IP69 protection and Vivo’s stated update commitment more than gaming power or camera versatility. Its official 8GB/128GB price was within the budget, but stock was a material problem when checked.
If Motorola costs ₹3,000–₹5,000 more, the Vivo becomes more attractive for general users. If Vivo is ₹3,000–₹5,000 cheaper and available in the preferred storage tier, its battery, accessories and portrait focus can outweigh Motorola’s hardware advantages. If either phone is unavailable or exceeds ₹35,000 without a discount that you can actually claim, do not force the comparison: wait, verify another configuration or reassess the budget.
